  • We bought the boys a pair of Stacycs 12's for their 3rd birthday coming up next month. We loved them! The price is a bit high, especially when you buy two, but they will provide a couple years of fun before we can upgrade to the next size! Highly recommend!

    I just got 2 for my twin 4 year old boys a week ago. We ended up with the 16". Theyre obsessed. They were pretty seasoned on their striders and took to them really quickly. All day long all they want to do is ride their "motor bikes"!

      Heck yea!! Our boys are still loving theirs. They've already transition to standing up whole riding. It's crazy how fast they progress on them!

      Definitely an investment. But, the boys are still enjoying them 2 years later. So, big investment, but it’s provided years of fun. And both together were way cheaper than dads bike lol

    Great video. Just got my boy the 16” for his 3rd birthday since he’s got the size of a 5yr old. I would agree that slow to medium is a pretty big step, high is just out of the question for at least a 8 months to a year. Great little bikes

      Nice! He must be tall! I think we are gonna do BMX or trials bikes after these since they already have a pair of 50s. And the resale on these are very good when the time comes!
      Thanks for watching the video!

    Stacyc’s are awesome.
    Side note: if you’re gonna tune the suspension on the Sherco check out Enzo Racing. Just springs and revalve transformed the bike.

      The boys are rocking them! Mom was real abrasive to the price tag but has since loosened up once she saw how much fun the boys are having on them!
      And I'll have to look at them! I've heard of them but havent met anyone personally that runs it. Most people go through TBT around here since a semi local guy attends the races that is a dealer/suspension on them.

      Team Step Brothers Brady is also awesome! I got one ride on mine after Enzo went through it. One of the best feeling bikes I’ve ever ridden.

    I always thought the best progression from a balance bike was a pedal bike because it takes more coordination to pedal and ride. Now I see that pedaling would be too tough in the grass and off road. Makes sense to do both and each has its own skills. Trials next to learn control before speed.

    • @TeamStepBrothers
      @TeamStepBrothers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the boys will.be lucky enough to have all three. Though, the pedal bikes will not be anything special. Unless it's a Walmart special lol

    Hello! My kid is turning 3 next month too! How was your experience with the 12 inch? Should I just buy the 16 or do you feel that the 12 was a necessary.

    • @TeamStepBrothers
      @TeamStepBrothers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome! For your question, honestly it could go either way. My boys were on the 12 a little before three and a 16 3 months after turning 3. So from a financial standpoint, it may be better to start on the 16, especially if you have a tall child. However, I also have friends that had children that were scared of the 16 because it is a bit faster than the 12 on the lowest setting. Good news is the resell is really good on them if you buy the 12 and have to resell it soon, so keep it in good shape!

    • @TeamStepBrothers
      @TeamStepBrothers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also if your child has been on a balance bike the transition will be wayyyy easier!

    How big do the bikes get?

    • @TeamStepBrothers

      Right now a 16" wheel but I have heard rumors that a 20" is coming. The MSRP is only a 50 dollar difference between the 12" and 16".
