He has so much fun on that thing. Try the best to teach the right fundamentals as early as possible. As any 2 year old sometimes he listens sometimes he does what he wants lol
@@TheBoyers I was going to grab two orange KTMs but they sold out late at night when they were released up here in Canada. The 16 inch brushless Stacys have the vents so hopefully they don't fail with a little bit of moisture. With my older boy 2 batteries, 1 x 4 ah and 1 x 5 ah is enough for 1.5 hour continuous ride through very technical terrain. It's my answer to losing weight while on my MTB and I don't have to push my older son up the hills as I have to on standard MTB with pedals.
This is awesom. I just recently had a kid and bought the Strider 12 rocker because I was super excited to get him riding or even intrested asap. Just yesterday a buddy introduced me to these Stacyc bikes because I wanted to get a motorbike for my kid when he was older. I am totaly love these bikes and even more so now there is a ktm replica bike.
Same thing I did starting with the strider and balance rocker for my boys that I couldn't help myself by purchasing before they were born! These Stacyc bikes are great and I also love the looks of the ktm replica! Your son will love it when he's ready!
@@TheBoyers So I see Harly Davidson bought Stacyc in 2019 I wonder if this means the KTM build is a one off and we will not see any newer ones made. Dont want to buy one now as my kid is only a week old and like you I bought the Strider rocker weeks before he was born. But I also dont want to be buying the KTM version off of the secondary market if they don't plan to make more because of HD purchase. Might have to bight the bullet. Will do some more research first.
@@TheBoyers wow that is awesome to hear! Can’t wait for the fun to begin with this bike. My son and I loved your guys video we couldn’t stop watching. 🙏🏻
And my wife thought I was nuts when I started my kids on PW 50's when they were three with training wheels. I can't believe how well he rides at two years old.
Awesome! We just went to check them out this evening. Our son will be 3 in 2 weeks. So torn between the 12 and 16 (16 is just a tad too big). Also hearing they’re releasing 12 brushless so not sure if we should wait. Thanks for video!!
Kace is now 3 and got on his 16" around 3 and 3 months. My nephew also recently had his 3rd birthday and I suggested the 16" for them to get and he's loving it. I know its tough if its a tad big but they grow so quick and should quickly get on the bike. I know its a tough decision because you want them to ride it when you get it, but upgrading a couple months in would also not be ideal.
Hahaha the wait was killing you 🤣 This is awesome 👌 wish we started Brianna out on one of these 🙌 Just like my daughter he's more worried about the old bike than the new one 🤣 That cracks me up and I don't get it 🤦♂️ Hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your day 🙌
hahah I was so excited to see his expression. Yea I think they fall in love with one bike and worry more about that one. Thanks, have a great day as well!
First: love the video. - do you know if 12 inch and 16 inch is a frame size of just a wheels. I mean do i need to buy a new bike if kid is a little bigger or replace wheels to bigger. - whats with the walls and sockets - like gaps between socket and the wall (curiosity question from European)
Appreciate it. There is probably a way to rig up new wheels but I'm sure it'll need some customization as you can't just switch wheels. I just went ahead and got the 16" after he outgrew this one. The gap in the walls was me in the middle of finishing the basement and didn't have all the wall coverings on yet.
@@cryptobigboss Thank you. The bike does such an amazing job at giving the little ones a platform to start. I just love watching him fall in love with 2 wheels!
He started in the house right on his 2nd birthday. Then when the weather got better 26 months old he rode it outside. I have another video on the channel showing his monthly progression.
Hello, I would like to ask a question. My daughter is three years old today. As a gift she received a Stacyc 12 , how can I teach her to drive? How did you do it? He’s never ridden a bike in his life
Congrats on the new purchase. We started with no battery in and just walking with it. Once he was comfortable we turned it on the lowest speed and just let him practice giving it a little gas and letting off. Slowly he started giving it gas and walking with it.
Hey man Great video and that was an awesome trade off from the wife. I have my first one coming Oct 22. Did you start on a strider? What did you take the video with just your phone or what?
Wasn’t a bad trade off at all 😂. Congratulations on your first kid. It’s such an amazing experience. Enjoy every minute. Yea we started on a strider which he still rides to this day as well. They are great to teach the balance. Most was filmed on a cannon 80d but the riding shots where on an iPhone.

Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!
