Damn! I want this to happen so bad! Halo reach was epic, and giving noble6 a second chance, that would make a whole world of possibilities show themselves. It could put noble 6 with Chief. Or against him. Not something I personally would want, but it could happen. Or those two meeting Atriox. It has a lot of potential, and I badly want this to happen.

Nobel Team sacrificed themselves for Cortana, chief and for the pillar of autumn. Even then how does Nobel six being alive even tie into the story of Halo it’ll just create plot holes :\

This would be a cool take on a different outcome for Noble 6. But his death, and the entirety of Noble Team, drove home the point of sacrifice even in a losing battle

Ok so a few things. 1: I really enjoy how this is a mixture of the Halo Reach art style and the art style from the Halo 2 Anni/ Halo 4 Terminals/ Fall of Reach art style. You guys seemed to have nailed that visual style. Good Job! 2: It's kind of a prick move to claim that 6 sacrificing himself to save humanity was "reckless behavior." Humanity had lost Reach and there was literally no way for him to survive the onslaught. So the mere fact he did is a miracle lmao. But being this is ONI it makes a whole lot of sense. I feel a lot of the people arguing against this are forgetting that this is a fan made "what if" project. Just like the whole Marvel "what if" series. It's not cannon, it's not trying to be, it's a love letter to the series. Don't watch it if you don't want to, it's that simple. However I am very much looking forward to seeing this in the future. Best of luck with it's development.

This is really cool. “What if” stories in general always struck me as quite interesting to begin with, cuz you can basically do whatever you want, as long as core rules of the world aren’t broken. Honestly, I think more people need to do stuff like this with other such ideas. Things like: ‘What if the Master Chief died when alpha halo exploded?’, ‘What if Sesa Refumee (The heretic leader) didn’t shoot at arbiter in H2, or my personal favorite, ‘What if humanity was let into the covenant by oblivious prophets?’
Seeing a Human integrated Covenant would be awesome, and how their technology and culture impacted human worlds/life. I’m more interested in the Sesa idea though personally. I imagine him convincing Arbiter in the hanger, they escape from Tartarus together with Spark, and then Sesa shows/tells him everything. They rally the Elites to rebel, turn High Charity upside down, and start a revolution. The Great Schism happens as a result, the Elites party with humans and take over High Charity. High Charity is used to dominate the effort on the Ring and stop Truth. Chief would have a separate story based more on dealing with the Flood side of my alternate H2-H3. They would all link up and escape at the end, except Chief and Arbiter will make it to through this time. Sesa will not make it, but he dies having achieved everything he stood for and knowing Arbiter would look after their people. He sacrificed himself to make sure they made it. His last’s words “This was MY Great Journey”
I mean... What if the covenant instead worshipped humanity for their ability to create artifacts and oracles? Our planets literally light up like a Christmas tree when they scan for forerunner artifacts

@@Nuthing Why? As Noble 6 someone who is a Hyper Lethal Vector, 117's equal should of been able to survive the final battle on Reach. Outside of the end of Infinite making your relive final stands multiple times fighting wave after wave on your own. Something Noble six his equal should of been capable of. Along with this Bungie kinda showed off the fact noble six shouldn't of died during that entire piece anyway with master chief being placed in a very similar position in that he to was surrounded by elites with energy swords, in the old Halo 2 demo cutscene. Then you have the fact you play through Halo Reach even then knowing the entire time that the story of reach is a loosing battle no matter what you do. At least Noble six surviving means, not everything Carter and Jorge sacrifice are not in vein. Along with the death of Emilie then becoming another pointless death along the burning fields of reach.
@@Alpha-106 Spartans are supposed to be powerful, yes, but not invincible. They say they are invincible in the games, but it’s supposed to be propaganda. In reality they are way more powerful than the average unsc soldier, but they still die on the battlefield. They said in the games that the reason why they made the spartan program was because humanity was getting massacred in the battles they fought, they were hitting the covenant, but not seriously enough to stop them from winning. So they made the spartans. They are supposed to be powerful, but the covenant aren’t some bunch of idiots that are there to get clapped like they are nothing by one fking individual(that is special because he has hardcore training and experience, like he is the only one and the covenant are bunch of idiots that don’t have any fighting training what so ever). The covenant are supposed to be way more technologicaly advanced. And they have numerous of species in service so that they have variability. An i am not even talking about the numbers of their soldiers and their own programs. It’s already pretty ridiculous that the player kills hundreds if not thousands of covenant soldiers by them selfs like it’s nothing. It’s okay tho, it is a game, wouldn’t be fun otherwise right? Honestly this is my head canon for Reach, and could you imagine a Gears of War: Judgement style sequel for Noble 6? He is currently on trial for AWOL and has to retell the events and heroic sacrifice that Noble Team performed so others may live.

Reach was a great game. I think the conclusion was satisfying and I'd hate to see 343 do to Six what they did to Chief, but a fanmade project bringing him back has a lot of potential. This teaser definitely made the hairs stand up on my neck, not gonna lie.

The problem lies in impatient shareholders and incompetent management deciding to randomly change development hears every 6-8 months and never settling on a 'final' story till the COVID Lockdowns made it impossible to change gears again. Infinite wasn't supposed to feature MC as the primary character at first according to an interview last year, and Installation 07 (?) Wasn't even supposed to exist. Plus management decided to swap out developers every 6 months for some stupid reason.
If the master chief was replaced, this would be by far the most perfect candidate and 'beginning' story. Go back from past in one game, present in another and future in the next. Kind of like how black ops did it

@@jacobbenear2206 Not in all actuality. We never see a corpse. And if you manage to use theatre mode in the final campaign cutscene, the Sword the Elite swings down, misses Noble 6 by a few inches. That alone indicates that Bungie left the door open for 6 to come back if they ever wanted to. First rule of film making, they ain't dead unless their corpse is on screen AFTER their supposed death.

Make sure his weapon discipline is good and still carries himself professionally where possible, he is a lifetime soldier after all, just the few things to or not to animate can make a big difference
@@bokaxet1698 Lore wise in the halo universe all spartan 2s and spartan 3s were essentially kidnapped, augmented and brainwashed children. Everything about them was considered top secret. The regular rank and file armed forces had no idea the badest of badasses were effectively just grown up child soldiers in the best armor humanity could field. i just think its important to clarify the distinction that nearly all the armed forces had lives and loved outside of the military, but to the spartans their whole identity boiled down to being brainwashed military slaves.

Logically, I think there would be no way for Noble 6 to survive the end of Reach, but when I think about how much of a Chad Noble 6 is I start to think it’s possible. Imagine if we get a campaign where Master Chief and Noble 6 team up. The Banished would be running for the hills haha.

The animations and sound do a really good job of making the viewer feel impact from the fall and the feel of the wind near the beginning. Love it, it's also so stylistic
Nobody seems to notice that in the last cutscene before lone wolf starts, noble 6 is actually walking straight towards the covenant ship he downed. Now remember, noble 6 is a renowned pilot and has spartan training; meaning he most likely knows how to operate covenant aircraft i.e. seraphs, banshees, phantoms etc. And the battle cruiser he grounded was still intact. My theory is 6 was trying to make it off reach for whatever reason, and the hangar bays of that cruiser were his ticket out.
Indeed! However most space craft can’t use slip space, and huge ships like that are HARD to pilot, even for a spartan. The description does say he has help from an otherworldly source, so I can easily imagine a splinter group of covenant assisting him, or a forerunner monitor. If it’s something fully unexpected I then it would be way better. :D

Imagine a series of halo games, where you play as noble six doing his reaper missions, and at the end of each one he gets in such big tangles that you think he's surely dead at the end of each game but he keeps coming back cause he so op.
Story of Noble Six survival and unending war against the covenant signal handedly fighting to keep Reach against them is my favorite stories of all of Halo Non canon or not it's just a type story that is amazing to think about Go further to put it into words or into a video is absolutely stunning to see a world and character that I know and I regard as one of my favorite throughout the series this trailer was stunning I can't wait to see the finished product
It’d be cool if they did like a spec ops type deal with this. Like he had a mental break down during that last battle and showing him dealing with all the killing and death his had to endure.
@HaloFollower Watching this alone, earned you a subscriber from me. This has to be what Ive always wanted since reach. I was always unsatisfied by the ending as Noble was a Hyper Lethal Vector. He/She SPECIALIZED SPECIFICALLY in black ops, lone wolf operations, he should've easily fought off the enemy there(we've seen countless examples of Spartans hijacking Wraiths, Phantoms, EVEN SCARABS). So it just didn't seem like a concrete end to our alternative hero NOBLE-6. Many say he was the Legend before the legend began with 117. We've known so little about his/her character for so long and to see this brings tears to true Bungie Fans. From the days of Halo on the original Xbox to Playin with your friends from school on the 360 playing halo 3. To the creator, You just resurrected what every true halo fan has always wanted, The Legend of Noble. Thank you so much for this amazing work of art, rivaling Da Vinci and Michelangelo you did.
Not entirely sure why Noble 6 would get reprimanded for going AWOL considering he was a lone wolf before being assigned to Noble team, BUT this looks awesome!
I think its more of 'just going through the motions' than an actual reprimand...although seeing those impaled Elites, there could be some war crimes going on.
@@bonedoc4556 But even that doesn't make sense. 6 watched as The Pillar of Autumn left Reach, carrying with it the last of humanity on Reach. 6 would have had no way of knowing where they went or what happened to them. So after a couple of days, as far as 6 is aware, he could have been the only human left in existence until blue team showed up on Reach with Halsey. So even trying to make contact with the UNSC would have been detrimental as the covenant would have tracked his signal and thrown everything they had at him.
once this film is posted here i will watch it then rewatch cause to me Noble 6 amd the rest of Noble team were the most important characters. Noble 6 was a hero
this looks so freaking great and can not wait for it! I've always wanted a different take on Reach's story - like a different perspective and I guess this fan project fills the void. but one minor constructive criticism though, the voice acting is too clean and don't carry the weight/grittiness of the characters. Its like bunch of teenagers trying to sound like adults.
Can i just say, also, that noble six’s new voice actor in this trailer is PHENOMENAL and sounds JUST like the classic. Just missing the helmet sound, like how theyre barely muffled. I just always liked that part of the voices. It made them all have some war character.

This is awesome. I always wanted to believe that Noble 6 was still alive (injured but alive) on Reach. This would make such an awesome story, following Noble 6 as he survives on a glassed plant that has been taken over by the Covenant. Maybe he encounters other Spartan survivors, or maybe he is the last one. Would make for a good revenge story as he goes about destroying key covenant ships and bases on the planet while remaining hidden.

I feel a lot of the people arguing against this are forgetting that this is a fan made "what if" project.
Just like the whole Marvel "what if" series.
It's not cannon, it's not trying to be, it's a love letter to the series.
Don't watch it if you don't want to, it's that simple.
However I am very much looking forward to seeing this in the future.

This is really cool. “What if” stories in general always struck me as quite interesting to begin with, cuz you can basically do whatever you want, as long as core rules of the world aren’t broken. Honestly, I think more people need to do stuff like this with other such ideas. Things like: ‘What if the Master Chief died when alpha halo exploded?’, ‘What if Sesa Refumee (The heretic leader) didn’t shoot at arbiter in H2, or my personal favorite, ‘What if humanity was let into the covenant by oblivious prophets?’
Seeing a Human integrated Covenant would be awesome, and how their technology and culture impacted human worlds/life. I’m more interested in the Sesa idea though personally. I imagine him convincing Arbiter in the hanger, they escape from Tartarus together with Spark, and then Sesa shows/tells him everything. They rally the Elites to rebel, turn High Charity upside down, and start a revolution. The Great Schism happens as a result, the Elites party with humans and take over High Charity. High Charity is used to dominate the effort on the Ring and stop Truth. Chief would have a separate story based more on dealing with the Flood side of my alternate H2-H3. They would all link up and escape at the end, except Chief and Arbiter will make it to through this time. Sesa will not make it, but he dies having achieved everything he stood for and knowing Arbiter would look after their people. He sacrificed himself to make sure they made it. His last’s words “This was MY Great Journey”

@@Nuthing Why? As Noble 6 someone who is a Hyper Lethal Vector, 117's equal should of been able to survive the final battle on Reach. Outside of the end of Infinite making your relive final stands multiple times fighting wave after wave on your own. Something Noble six his equal should of been capable of. Along with this Bungie kinda showed off the fact noble six shouldn't of died during that entire piece anyway with master chief being placed in a very similar position in that he to was surrounded by elites with energy swords, in the old Halo 2 demo cutscene. Then you have the fact you play through Halo Reach even then knowing the entire time that the story of reach is a loosing battle no matter what you do. At least Noble six surviving means, not everything Carter and Jorge sacrifice are not in vein. Along with the death of Emilie then becoming another pointless death along the burning fields of reach.
@@Alpha-106 Spartans are supposed to be powerful, yes, but not invincible. They say they are invincible in the games, but it’s supposed to be propaganda. In reality they are way more powerful than the average unsc soldier, but they still die on the battlefield. They said in the games that the reason why they made the spartan program was because humanity was getting massacred in the battles they fought, they were hitting the covenant, but not seriously enough to stop them from winning.
So they made the spartans. They are supposed to be powerful, but the covenant aren’t some bunch of idiots that are there to get clapped like they are nothing by one fking individual(that is special because he has hardcore training and experience, like he is the only one and the covenant are bunch of idiots that don’t have any fighting training what so ever).
The covenant are supposed to be way more technologicaly advanced. And they have numerous of species in service so that they have variability. An i am not even talking about the numbers of their soldiers and their own programs.
It’s already pretty ridiculous that the player kills hundreds if not thousands of covenant soldiers by them selfs like it’s nothing.
It’s okay tho, it is a game, wouldn’t be fun otherwise right?
Well if you take that noble 6 survived after so much beating and a fking army goes after him with some of their special forces after he already fought insane amount of forces by him self and he still comes on top and even has the energy to wage war of his own all by his self? Honestly this is my head canon for Reach, and could you imagine a Gears of War: Judgement style sequel for Noble 6? He is currently on trial for AWOL and has to retell the events and heroic sacrifice that Noble Team performed so others may live.

Reach was a great game. I think the conclusion was satisfying and I'd hate to see 343 do to Six what they did to Chief, but a fanmade project bringing him back has a lot of potential. This teaser definitely made the hairs stand up on my neck, not gonna lie.

The problem lies in impatient shareholders and incompetent management deciding to randomly change development hears every 6-8 months and never settling on a 'final' story till the COVID Lockdowns made it impossible to change gears again. Infinite wasn't supposed to feature MC as the primary character at first according to an interview last year, and Installation 07 (?) Wasn't even supposed to exist. Plus management decided to swap out developers every 6 months for some stupid reason.

If the master chief was replaced, this would be by far the most perfect candidate and 'beginning' story. Go back from past in one game, present in another and future in the next. Kind of like how black ops did it

@@jacobbenear2206 Not in all actuality. We never see a corpse. And if you manage to use theatre mode in the final campaign cutscene, the Sword the Elite swings down, misses Noble 6 by a few inches. That alone indicates that Bungie left the door open for 6 to come back if they ever wanted to.
First rule of film making, they ain't dead unless their corpse is on screen AFTER their supposed death.

Lone Wolf as in he worked without any teammates, but he still had an ONI handler and worked directly for ONI.
Noble6 had the same hyperletal vector as masterchief but the douche top brass at the unsc used him as their personal boogeyman thus him working solo that what I got from his story atleast

@@bokaxet1698 Lore wise in the halo universe all spartan 2s and spartan 3s were essentially kidnapped, augmented and brainwashed children. Everything about them was considered top secret. The regular rank and file armed forces had no idea the badest of badasses were effectively just grown up child soldiers in the best armor humanity could field. i just think its important to clarify the distinction that nearly all the armed forces had lives and loved outside of the military, but to the spartans their whole identity boiled down to being brainwashed military slaves.

Logically, I think there would be no way for Noble 6 to survive the end of Reach, but when I think about how much of a Chad Noble 6 is I start to think it’s possible. Imagine if we get a campaign where Master Chief and Noble 6 team up. The Banished would be running for the hills haha.

The animations and sound do a really good job of making the viewer feel impact from the fall and the feel of the wind near the beginning. Love it, it's also so stylistic
Nobody seems to notice that in the last cutscene before lone wolf starts, noble 6 is actually walking straight towards the covenant ship he downed. Now remember, noble 6 is a renowned pilot and has spartan training; meaning he most likely knows how to operate covenant aircraft i.e. seraphs, banshees, phantoms etc. And the battle cruiser he grounded was still intact. My theory is 6 was trying to make it off reach for whatever reason, and the hangar bays of that cruiser were his ticket out.

Indeed! However most space craft can’t use slip space, and huge ships like that are HARD to pilot, even for a spartan. The description does say he has help from an otherworldly source, so I can easily imagine a splinter group of covenant assisting him, or a forerunner monitor. If it’s something fully unexpected I then it would be way better. :D
Most covenant space craft like drop ships or small transports. Basically something that would need a drive in order to escape Reach in full.
A lore accurate Reaper 1 game would be something every gamer in the world would coom over.

The fact I got goosebumps and completely forgot that this was fan made for like a whole 2 seconds. Now I'm internally dying cause I know this won't be a thing and I absolutely need it in my life.
Imagine a series of halo games, where you play as noble six doing his reaper missions, and at the end of each one he gets in such big tangles that you think he's surely dead at the end of each game but he keeps coming back cause he so op.
God knows fans would make anything and everything better than any mainstream studio ever will.

Story of Noble Six survival and unending war against the covenant signal handedly fighting to keep Reach against them is my favorite stories of all of Halo Non canon or not it's just a type story that is amazing to think about
Go further to put it into words or into a video is absolutely stunning to see a world and character that I know and I regard as one of my favorite throughout the series this trailer was stunning I can't wait to see the finished product

@HaloFollower Watching this alone, earned you a subscriber from me. This has to be what Ive always wanted since reach. I was always unsatisfied by the ending as Noble was a Hyper Lethal Vector. He/She SPECIALIZED SPECIFICALLY in black ops, lone wolf operations, he should've easily fought off the enemy there(we've seen countless examples of Spartans hijacking Wraiths, Phantoms, EVEN SCARABS). So it just didn't seem like a concrete end to our alternative hero NOBLE-6. Many say he was the Legend before the legend began with 117. We've known so little about his/her character for so long and to see this brings tears to true Bungie Fans. From the days of Halo on the original Xbox to Playin with your friends from school on the 360 playing halo 3. To the creator, You just resurrected what every true halo fan has always wanted, The Legend of Noble. Thank you so much for this amazing work of art, rivaling Da Vinci and Michelangelo you did.

Not entirely sure why Noble 6 would get reprimanded for going AWOL considering he was a lone wolf before being assigned to Noble team, BUT this looks awesome!
I think its more of 'just going through the motions' than an actual reprimand...although seeing those impaled Elites, there could be some war crimes going on.

@@bonedoc4556 But even that doesn't make sense. 6 watched as The Pillar of Autumn left Reach, carrying with it the last of humanity on Reach. 6 would have had no way of knowing where they went or what happened to them. So after a couple of days, as far as 6 is aware, he could have been the only human left in existence until blue team showed up on Reach with Halsey. So even trying to make contact with the UNSC would have been detrimental as the covenant would have tracked his signal and thrown everything they had at him.

this looks so freaking great and can not wait for it! I've always wanted a different take on Reach's story - like a different perspective and I guess this fan project fills the void.
but one minor constructive criticism though, the voice acting is too clean and don't carry the weight/grittiness of the characters. Its like bunch of teenagers trying to sound like adults.

Can i just say, also, that noble six’s new voice actor in this trailer is PHENOMENAL and sounds JUST like the classic. Just missing the helmet sound, like how theyre barely muffled. I just always liked that part of the voices. It made them all have some war character.
This was beautiful, pretty much the perfect alternative ending to reach, so glad at least noble 6 survived hypothetically in a fan made story line

This is awesome. I always wanted to believe that Noble 6 was still alive (injured but alive) on Reach.
This would make such an awesome story, following Noble 6 as he survives on a glassed plant that has been taken over by the Covenant. Maybe he encounters other Spartan survivors, or maybe he is the last one. Would make for a good revenge story as he goes about destroying key covenant ships and bases on the planet while remaining hidden.
