Elohim is just the Hebrew word for the title "God." It's not a name for God, or the name for another spiritual being. It's Yahweh's title. Yahweh, or to use the same translation method that gives us the name Jesus, "Jehovah," is the divine name. It's our heavenly Father's name, the name of God Almighty. I'm hearing a little confusion on this point.

They reject the Lord and all Believers in my family. But your Mom's prayer letter inspired me and gives me hope. I watched him with sadness how little by little he was getting ripped off of everything he had. He had a career that he lost, a family, finances, he was a pastor, so he lost his reputation, he lost his health, last year he died at age 63, a man that was so healthy died on an hospital bed, just skin and bones. The only man I have ever been, he used to be the love of my life, now my eternal love is my Lord and Savior. He restored my life and gave me a new song. Believe in Jesus, he will never let you down. My now ex husband did the same thing. At one point he said he was a follower of Christ now he is heavy into a promiscuous gay/bi sexual lifestyle. He abandoned me, our marriage, and our three kids. He just recently requested parental termination to not have to pay child support. I agreed for the protection of my children, he is not safe and was emotionally abusive for many years. It is very sad and I grieved the loss of what should have been but I was never going to have peace with him and so I was ready to let him go. He’s gone his own way and all we can do is pray for Gods mercy on his soul.
I, too, am a former homosexual who now belongs to Jesus Christ and the kingdom of heaven. It’s a beautiful life now and I am released from bondage and the chains of sin. God bless you, bro Beckett and all of you who read this. Jesus Christ is the only answer and the only way!

However, because of what I know the Lord has done for me, I would be foolish to turn my back on the love, mercy and grace of Jesus Christ and what He did at the cross of Calvary. I’m totally blind for 14 years now and I’m in a place in which it is difficult to live the way I used to. Many of the friends fell away and I surround myself with my family and church family. For the past few years, I have been living with my big brother and my father after the death of my mother. I was in a state of depression in living on my own when she left and I had to Pray way out of the situation. Thank God for my family that they brought me here to Jacksonville. I’m planning on moving into my own place soon and I will continue to cling to the Lord Jesus Christ for strength and understanding. Thank you for the question and you stay strong in the Lord, Brett. I was living in a same sex relationship for over a decade. It was a very dark and a very mentally and emotionally unstable time in my life. Christ set me free and helped me understand that I was living in my issues that were causing me trauma mixing my past with my present. It seemed to all like a perfect wonderful lifestyle to everyone but it was scary, broken and deep sadness I was trapped in along with all those around me worshiping sexual sins and the flesh as their God. I didn't go from gay to straight. I went from a heart at war and fight with God to a heart in love and in union with God as my true maker and father.

I have to share a little story. We used to have a coffeehouse in the gay neighborhood of San Diego and we lived near there as well. When our little niece was about 5 years old, she came and had a sleepover with us. The next day, in the car on the way to the beach, we drove past a restaurant with a huge gay flag flying over it. Our niece noticed it and piped up from the back seat, all excited, in her little speech-class voice, "Look at dat fwag, Tee Tee! Isn't the wainbow God's pwomise never to fwood da earf again wif wain?" (Sorry. That's exactly how she sounded, lol.) But her sheer innocence and joy at the sight of a "rainbow"! A total heartcrack moment. I just turned to her and said, "Yes, sweetie. Yes, it is."

I am so heartened by all of your stories of coming to Christ after being in a gay lifestyle. My daughter has left our family to pursue this life and will not have a relationship with us unless we condone and celebrate homosexuality. She is young and I’m sure confused and hurt and in the beginning of what must feel free . Free in the sense that she can tell that nagging feeling of sin to be quiet. Pray for her friends. One night in 2019, on the last night of his life, while he lay so weak in his bed in the care home, he laid himself in Jesus' hands, accepting His love and saving death, taking Him at His word. It was a precious time that I had with him, just him and me, and Jesus. One thing that made me privately angry and deeply sad about the gay community was the amount of Narcissists that gay men seem to attract: the gold-digger types who circle like sharks, looking for some vulnerability to exploit. There seemed to be little love or real connection. One of my gay male nursing colleagues used to tell me about his life, most often when we worked nights together, & it seemed to me a shallow life where you had to use others & let them use you to be part of the culture. I always felt concerned about my colleague, in case someone beat him up when he was out, or if he caught HIV. I cared about him. I’m commenting here in October… and now my city is rolling out ‘Pridetober’. Our city buses have full on wraps with large printed PRIDE and the hi-jacked rainbow. (Our tax dollars at work). I guess the entire month of June just was not enough. There are parties and festivities going on all over the downtown area. I think these events are so popular because it’s an excuse to do whatever you want all the time and no one dare judge you for it. It’s pretty discouraging to watch the culture falling apart. Ah well. I was just telling my husband the other day when something clicked for me. People used to always use the saying "gay dar" when they sensed that someone was gay, now I think that sense is really the spiritual presence of some kind of sexual spirit that is around that person.

Thank you so much for this, Becket! My son,who walked with the Lord, was a worship leader and was in ministry for years, chose to embrace homosexuality as a lifestyle and is currently living in LA. He became disappointed and disillusioned with God for not “delivering” him from these desires. The Lord provides hope for me through your podcasts and the demonstration of His power in your life. Born and raised in LA. Still currently live here. I gave up my homosexual life to live for Christ. The amount of Gay Pride flags I see everywhere I go is intense. Idk how it is anywhere else, but I feel like LA is shoving homosexually in our faces. I can't get away from it. I'm reluctant to let my 4-year-old nephew watch TV or YT because of all the LGBT commercials that are being played.
There are Christian programs to show your nephew. You can download the kids Bible app , super book, etc. When you look at foreign kids programs, like Japanese shonen anime. That should be fine

I have a gay brother-in-law who is now a Christian and lives celibate. He said the same thing, that the lifestyle is extremely dark and very selfish. My husband read The Unseen Realm when he was in seminary a few years ago and loved it.
Even the single hetero lifestyle is rife with darkness & selfishness. And I've stumbled more than a few times myself. I've been single my whole life, and when you're young, it's all fun & games. But as you get older, you start to see the benefits of having a spouse by your side.

There is only one truth from God and the rest is all lies that are being fabricated by the many who are lost and deceived. This is why you had better be very sure of what you are believing since there are millions of preachers who are leading many souls astray with their misguided interpretations of scripture. The vast majority of believers are so deceived in fact that many are foolishly believing that scripture is relating that they can never stop sinning. They clearly have no idea that God commanded us to live a holy and righteous life which can only be achieved by no longer sinning. Since we are all born in sin and in ignorance of God’s word and truth this is the reason why Jesus came into this world. Jesus came to forgive us of the sins that we have already committed and He came to teach us how to stop sinning through His Holy Spirit. Jesus did not come to forgive our past, present and future sins as many who are deceived desire to believe and there are no such scriptures that even back up that nonsense. This spoken untruth is having people believe that they can continue to sin and then simply repent and God will just forgive them over and over. This twisted reasoning would mean that you can steal and then repent, you can lie and then repent, you can murder and simply repent. You can keep committing whatever sin you desire and just repent afterwards and you will always be forgiven. Jesus came to call sinners to repentance which meant for them to no longer sin. So to try and justify why they still sin many deceived believers will twist the meaning of scriptures like 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. For some foolish reason these lost souls desire to believe that Paul and the apostles continued to sin and they will often twist the Romans 7 scripture to try and back up their lies. These deceived believers fail to realize that we have all been sinners at one time in our lives and Paul was simply relating how he was a sinner until he was freed by knowing Christ. They clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and he was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6. Many also love to twist what the I John 1:8-10 is relating in order to justify their sin. This scripture is simply relating that everyone is born a sinner since we are all born in sin and ignorance of truth. It is saying that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. It is also stating that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere is this scripture ever relating that a believer will always sin as those who follow the devil and his lies desire to believe. The Romans 3:10 is relating that none of us are righteous since we are all born in sin and this is why we needed a savior to teach us how to stop sinning. Romans 3:23 is actually stating the same thing since we are all born in sin and we all fall short of the glory of God. Many believers who are lost and deceived try to justify their sin by claiming that the apostles were sinners themselves and they will often use the scripture where Peter denied Jesus as their justification. When they do this nonsense they are clearly revealing their complete ignorance of scripture and they prove how they are being guided by a demon spirit and not the Holy Spirit. So did the apostles all sin at some time in their lives? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. Now did Peter sin when he denied Christ? He most certainly did but many overlook how this occurred before Peter was sanctified in truth. Next, did Peter sin when Paul corrected him in Galatians 2? No he did not since Peter was following the Old Covenant laws that he was raised under and Paul was simply revealing how their old custom traditions should no longer apply under God’s New Covenant. Many who are deceived cannot comprehend what scripture is relating in regards to the apostles. Scripture is relating that the apostles were originally sinners who willingly followed the teachings of Jesus and they allowed Jesus to sanctify their hearts in God’s truth and teach them how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for His disciples sanctification to prove what I relate. Another thing that the many deceived believers clearly overlook is how scripture relates that God does not listen to the prayers of sinners. God’s never lies so this alone proves that the apostles could never have performed healing miracles if they were still sinners themselves. Jesus could work healing miracles because He was sinless and so God then answered His prayers. The apostles then reached the place where they overcame their sins as well and so this is why God then answered their healing prayers. “Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.” John 9:31 NKJV “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” I John 5:18 NKJV Scripture relates that anyone who is born of God does not sin and because they can no longer sin this is why they can no longer get sick since sickness only comes from sin and the devil. So if you can still sin and you can still get sick then that certainly proves that you are not BORN AGAIN. This is why many believers who live in sin and sickness will try and justify their afflictions by twisting scripture verses like claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. Many deceived souls desire to believe that Paul possessed a sickness so allow me to explain what Paul was relating in the 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 scripture. First, what does a thorn in the flesh do? Well it causes pain and suffering. So just as Jesus suffered in the wilderness by being tempted by Satan Jesus then allowed a messenger of Satan to tempt Paul in order to make him stronger in the Holy Spirit. “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” II Corinthians 12:7-10 NKJV If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone believe that he was someone who had sickness in his own life? Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself? “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” I John 3:4-9 NKJV So scripture clearly states that whoever sins does not know God and whoever sins is of the devil. Scripture also clearly relates that whoever abides in God and is born of God cannot sin and does not sin. So anyone who sins or anyone who believes that they can never stop sinning is simply a deceived believer who cannot comprehend what scripture is relating since they are blinded to truth. They are being influenced by the lies of a demon spirit and they certainly are not being guided by the Holy Spirit. There is no sin and sickness with God and there is no sin and sickness for the true children of God. So if you are someone who can still get sick then that alone proves that you have not overcome sin. You are clearly deceived and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. Lastly, many do not realize that they are condemning their souls since they are willingly posting their misguided beliefs in regards to scripture here on the Internet. They have no idea that they will never be forgiven for the lies and the nonsense that they are relating since they are now someone who is blaspheming the Spirit of truth. Realize that God did not instruct us or command us to explain scripture to anyone but yet most are foolishly believing that it is their duty to try and lead others to Jesus. These deceived believers do not understand that the Great Commission was for God’s chosen disciples who were trained by Jesus and who were sanctified in God’s truth. So if you have never been sanctified in truth and you have never overcome your sins then you certainly should not be offering scriptural advice or comments to anyone. “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” Matthew 18:6-7 NKJV

GOD is holy and HIS character is such that HE can not be in the presence of sin=breaking the LAW of GOD, rebellion against GOD. It is our choice to acknowledge that we are sinners, separated from GOD, believe that JESUS died in our place, literally paid our fine, so that if we accept HIS free gift, we can be FREE from sin and be in relationship with GOD. I agree with GOD'S WORD=the Bible which you shared. However, I disagree when you begin to interpret the Scriptures to mean that once we repent (turn from) our sin and believe and accept JESUS' death and resurrection for us, we will never sin or be sick here on earth. No, we do not have licence to go on sinning, but as we learn more about GOD by reading the Bible, we will still have to fight temptations to sin and sometimes fall back to our old, sinful human ways for which we are to repent. And while living in this sin-filled world, our physical bodies age and are affected by sickness. It's our spirits that are FREE from sin and its effects, not our physical bodies.

Scripture is relating how Paul and the other apostles were sinners who allowed Jesus to sanctify their hearts in God’s truth and teach them how to overcome their sins. Jesus did this in the flesh with His 12 original disciples and He did it through His Holy Spirit with Paul. Clearly you overlooked that Jesus is alive and He now does the same exact thing with anyone who truly surrenders their will through the guidance of His Holy Spirit. This is the whole reason why we need His Holy Spirit. Sanctification is not a life long process as some believe since the apostles became sanctified in truth through the teachings of Jesus and all you need to do is read John 17:6-19 to prove as much. This is why Jesus then used them as His messengers since they were now sanctified in God’s truth and they had overcome their sins. So you certainly have no idea what scripture is even relating and are nothing more then a deceived soul who is trying to justify why they still live in sin.

(1 John 2:1) If you think you are without sin, ask yourself if you have perfectly kept the Law from the day of your Salvation. Sanctification is a process. The Holy Spirit convinces us of sin and can be grieved lest we harden ourselves against him. By no means are we to continue in sin, but by the measure that you judge those who are just babes in their sanctification, you too will be judged. Job declared his righteousness as well, before God humbled him and he repented.
The upside is that everyone can use this "season" to go and reach out to those who are so desperately trying to cancel out straight culture and Christians

Becket, I found you, while trying to understand the gay community from a Christian perspective. My 14 year old daughter has started dressing more masculine in this past year. Last week, she was caught having a secret relationship with another girl. There was also drugs and alcohol present. Becket, please pray for my baby. Please pray that God will give me the love and grace she needs moving forward. Also, I have younger children in the home, too. She knows I do not accept this. She has been raised to know the truth. She is so lost right now.

Look up Abigail Shrier, she talks alot about this phenomenon among young teenage girls and how they are by far the most vulnerable... and I'll pray for your daughter, it seems like my almost 13 year niece is on the same trajectory of believing she's gay. And she only thinks she's gay because of her "friends" influence.
Driving though Beverly Hills and Hollywood this last week, the amount of rainbows covering all the businesses was overwhelming. I do wonder though how many people in that area though just feel the pressure to conform because not doing so is basically seen as hostile.
Its all about money making, catering to what economists in the UK used to call the "Pink Pound." If these companies actually cared they'd be putting pride flags on their adverts in the Middle East and Indonesia, Africa etc but they don't. The LGBT community has more disposable income due to them largely not having children, hence the sucking up that these businesses do.

I had a very close brush with homosexually, only progressing as far as pornography, curiousity, and masturbation and everything that it entails... But never became truly attracted to other males. I became a Christian before progressing further. I think unfortunately too few Christians speak about these topics for fear of shame and ridicule (especially in this climate). Great channel.

It is a progression, step by step, chasing your own lusts, searching for the perfect orgasm or whatever it is. Born that way I was not. I was taught sex and pleasure could only be a good thing, and could never be destructive or dysfunctional. A devil's bargain.

An amazing book called, 'After the Ball" tells of how the authors, Kirk a neuropsychologist and Madsen, a social marketing and advertising executive explain how they use specific marketing techniques to win social approval for the gay lifestyle. One technique is to use a parallel to great events of history and iconic events to blur lines on cultural perspective. Briefly, I think gay pride is one month-long to intentionally parallel Black History month...the authors explicitly talk about moving from 'current' beliefs to 'preferred" beliefs as goals in marketing any product.

I’m a 73 year grandmother who met Jesus in 1973 and am literally grateful eternally. I have never in my life felt like I am living in a spiritual war zone with the culture degrading at such lightning speed as I am today. I cried hearing your amazing testimony because you revive the war weary and give such hope and courage to see the Damascus Road is still happening again and again. I am so thankful.
I'm so grateful for Dr Heiser's work. In college, had a lot of classes in ancient civilisations and mythology. I could never understand how ancient people, who might have been smarter than us being closer to Adam, would perform all sorts of barbaric rituals and sacrifice their children and get nothing out of it. Didn't make sense. Dr Heiser's work made the Bible go from 2D to 3D for me. Now everything that I studied made so much more sense. Understanding that there were rebellious gods granting favors for ancient people's faithfulness made a black and white book go to full color for me.

I have doctors and hospitals refusing to see my 4 year old. I should start a blog because truth is stranger than fiction. The enemy is a coward who preys on innocent babies but My Father WATCHES OVER HIM and it is beautiful. Now just think of where we are because this verse is truth! Didn’t even try to wake him, check vitals, or offer to get us something for the vomit all over the both of us. The waiting room was filthy and they WERE NOT worried about any viruses. I remember those years at the beginning of AIDS. I worked in the ICU and the ER. We never wore gloves or any kind of protection for anyone before this unless they had an infection. At this point, we did not wear them with patients with AIDS even when handling fluids, because we did not know that could do anything. We were often covered with bodily fluids. Even though these men were on 100% oxygen and a ventilator, we could not get enough oxygen in them to be near normal. They were completely conscious and were mouthing HELP ME and were wild-eyed, grabbing at me, not in an aggressive way, but like they were falling off a cliff and were grabbing at me to hold them on the cliff instead of falling into the abyss. It was the saddest, scariest, helpless, and helpless feeling I ever had. I wrote helpless twice on purpose. I am sure they felt worse. I wanted so badly to do something to help each person. I would work extra shifts and cry and pray when I was not there. It was so hard to be with them because there was such a feeling of fright and urgency coming from them. We could do NOTHING to help these people and wanted desperately to do so. I held hands with them instead of taking a break or a meal at all. Once the doctors started to figure it out, we wore gloves to take blood, but that was the only difference for us. In spite of all the fluids that got on almost all of me, I never contracted it. I am so relieved there are things to help now, but when you said death, it was death. I will never forget it and hope it never happens to another person, ever. As bad as I felt, I know they felt a million times worse. I still pray for these people. I believe you can send prayers back into time to make things better than they were. You saying that brought back all the memories.

Amen. Praying for Becket, God is using him amazingly - all glory to God. I left a very wordly lifestyle in 2009 and became born again. The spiritual warfare I face is very difficult. But the freedom I have in the Lord is amazing! I am so grateful for His love & presence.
I had a dream recently and it was very short, but I feel like a got a glimpse of the spirit realm for a brief moment and I saw a rainbow that was slithering around like a snake. It was weaving in and out of the radio, TV, into shops, into homes, into parks.....everywhere. It was moving just like a snake. 🐍😮 I am so grateful that Jesus set you free from this bondage! I had a similar dream about 20 years ago. I shudder now when I see these rainbow colours and those with non binary/gay identities dying their hair bright colours. What I saw in the dream was pure satanic evil...it made my blood run cold

(In both senses of the word pretender) I was looking back over decades of social change and noticing the ONLY thing that all these disparate groups had in common was they were all utterly OBSESSED with Christianity, with stealing from Christianity, counterfeiting all things Xtian or defiling or inverting all things Xtian Christianity overshadowed them 24/7 They loudly echo "God is dead" and yet they're ACTING as if they don't truly deep down believe it. There are no words to express how freeingly hilarious realising all this is, but then, how soberingly tragic their defiance of their very Creator, is.

I was a public school teacher for over 35 years. I'm not sure whose particular religious beliefs you want taught in public schools, but I find the notion quite disturbing. I can assure you that in my classroom, I taught children to follow the Golden Rule and treat everyone with respect. I don't call that brainwashing. If you want a religious education for your kids, it's up to you to provide it, not the public schools. They are paid for by tax dollars coming from people from all faiths, cultures, and ideologies.

What I said was that if YOU want your child to have a religious education, it's up to you to provide it. It should never be the job of PUBLIC schools, who are charged with educating everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual identity, etc. It sounds like you'd like to force everyone to be educated in the religion of your choice.
A family member related this story to me, when she was in college, she became friends with a young man, a fellow student who told her he was leaving the church because he was into this lifestyle. One evening they had gone to a dance together and he was giving her a ride back to her dorm. While in the car she was witnessing to him and trying to persuade him to change his ways, for a while the young man tried to justify his behavior, then a change started happening to his demeanor and physical appearance, as she tried once again to talk to him , she heard a clear voice telling her " Stop talking to him, you are in danger, once you arrive to the dorm, step out of the car, thank him for the ride, go quickly inside and do not look back". She obeyed immediately and God opened her eyes and was able to see for a brief moment the evil lurking inside the young man. She cut all connections to him the next day.
Thank goodness you listened to the Holy Spirit. I think of the words don't throw your pearls to the swines in the Bible. He had reached a very evil place. Sad
Perhaps it was her guardian angel protecting her or perhaps it was a demon guarding his prey, the young man from being rescued from sin. It’s hard to say from this story. She abandoned the man physically for better or worse but hopefully she did not abandon him in her prayers though.
This story resonates as I just watched a video by Don Dickerson called "Dont go there.". It discusses territorial warfare but the principalities behind homosexuality have to be as powerful as those over territory. Thanking God your friend listened.
it seeems like this guy was starting to manifest a demon, as often happens when the Holy Sprit is present, and it may have been an opportunity to exorcise the demon from him, but you probably would not have been able to handle that on your own, and thus, you could have been severely attacked, so it was best for you to move on; perhaps there will be another opportunity to minister to him when you have reinforcements

I had the same reaction to pride parade when I wasn’t saved, “this is a bizarre world… there is something not right about this” later that day I began to sob heavily, so heavily I couldn’t breathe. I remember I kept saying, “they’re lost, they’re lost.” I wasn’t saved at the time, or rather I was still walking in my sin, but I remember my soul was crying for these people.

I want to state that I was probably just as lost as they were in my own sin, fornication, drug use, etc. but a part of me knew the Lord was my savior. I remember later that day I asked the people around me if they believed in God. I was saved by the grace of God, I just wasn’t walking with Him yet. I feel it is our duty to care for those who are lost in their sin and don’t know/understand the saving power of Jesus. I wasn’t exactly versed in how Jesus was my savior, but we can tell people about it in a caring, loving way. I probably would have cried no matter what bc I’m a cry baby lol I’m sensitive as hecc but the Lord made me that way for a reason. I knew I was lost too that day I was at the Pride parade
I read Dr. Heiser's book last year and have to agree it is very spiritually eye-opening. I am so blessed to hear about what the Holy Spirit is showing you. Another informative book I recently read is "The Shinar Directive..." by Michael Lake. If you haven't read it yet, it expands (expounds?) on the very things you are talking about. The last time i went to a pride function the holy spirt started convicting me. I had one vile situation that stood out.and.left a lasting impression b4 leavig that community. I.was.walkimg down a main street and everyone was cheering and i was across the street, looked up and saw men jacking off on the crowd below(yuck!!). So happy to hear that so many gay people are coming to Jesus . My marriage was destroyed when my husband told me he was gay. He left me and our daughters to go and lived a crazy gay life. I watched him with sadness how little by little he was getting ripped off of everything he had. He had a career that he lost, a family, finances, he was a pastor, so he lost his reputation, he lost his health, last year he died at age 63, a man that was so healthy died on an hospital bed, just skin and bones. The only man I have ever been, he used to be the love of my life, now my eternal love is my Lord and Savior. He restored my life and gave me a new song. Believe in Jesus, he will never let you down. My now ex husband did the same thing. At one point he said he was a follower of Christ now he is heavy into a promiscuous gay/bi sexual lifestyle. He abandoned me, our marriage, and our three kids. He just recently requested parental termination to not have to pay child support. I agreed for the protection of my children, he is not safe and was emotionally abusive for many years. It is very sad and I grieved the loss of what should have been but I was never going to have peace with him and so I was ready to let him go. He’s gone his own way and all we can do is pray for Gods mercy on his soul.

However, because of what I know the Lord has done for me, I would be foolish to turn my back on the love, mercy and grace of Jesus Christ and what He did at the cross of Calvary. I’m totally blind for 14 years now and I’m in a place in which it is difficult to live the way I used to. Many of the friends fell away and I surround myself with my family and church family. For the past few years, I have been living with my big brother and my father after the death of my mother. I was in a state of depression in living on my own when she left and I had to Pray way out of the situation. Thank God for my family that they brought me here to Jacksonville. I was living in a same sex relationship for over a decade.
It was a very dark and a very mentally and emotionally unstable time in my life. Christ set me free and helped me understand that I was living in my issues that were causing me trauma mixing my past with my present. It seemed to all like a perfect wonderful lifestyle to everyone but it was scary, broken and deep sadness I was trapped in along with all those around me worshiping sexual sins and the flesh as their God. I didn't go from gay to straight. I went from a heart at war and fight with God to a heart in love and in union with God as my true maker and father.

I have to share a little story. We used to have a coffeehouse in the gay neighborhood of San Diego and we lived near there as well. When our little niece was about 5 years old, she came and had a sleepover with us. The next day, in the car on the way to the beach, we drove past a restaurant with a huge gay flag flying over it. Our niece noticed it and piped up from the back seat, all excited, in her little speech-class voice, "Look at dat fwag, Tee Tee! But her sheer innocence and joy at the sight of a "rainbow"! A total heartcrack moment.

My daughter has left our family to pursue this life and will not have a relationship with us unless we condone and celebrate homosexuality. She is young and I’m sure confused and hurt and in the beginning of what must feel free . Free in the sense that she can tell that nagging feeling of sin to be quiet. Pray for her friends. She once claimed Christ , so much so that she led her brother to him . I miss her so much.

One night in 2019, on the last night of his life, while he lay so weak in his bed in the care home, he laid himself in Jesus' hands, accepting His love and saving death, taking Him at His word.
It was a precious time that I had with him, just him and me, and Jesus.
One thing that made me privately angry and deeply sad about the gay community was the amount of Narcissists that gay men seem to attract: the gold-digger types who circle like sharks, looking for some vulnerability to exploit.
There seemed to be little love or real connection.
One of my gay male nursing colleagues used to tell me about his life, most often when we worked nights together, & it seemed to me a shallow life where you had to use others & let them use you to be part of the culture.
It was a highly promiscuous lifestyle, & I found that sleaze and shallowness hard enough to bear in straight culture.
I always felt concerned about my colleague, in case someone beat him up when he was out, or if he caught HIV. I cared about him.
I appreciate that Jesus has been calling me, & showing me Himself since I was a child.

I’m commenting here in October… and now my city is rolling out ‘Pridetober’. Our city buses have full on wraps with large printed PRIDE and the hi-jacked rainbow. (Our tax dollars at work). I guess the entire month of June just was not enough. There are parties and festivities going on all over the downtown area. I think these events are so popular because it’s an excuse to do whatever you want all the time and no one dare judge you for it.
It’s pretty discouraging to watch the culture falling apart. Ah well. Come Lord Jesus. :)

I was just telling my husband the other day when something clicked for me. People used to always use the saying "gay dar" when they sensed that someone was gay, now I think that sense is really the spiritual presence of some kind of sexual spirit that is around that person.

Born and raised in LA. Still currently live here. I gave up my homosexual life to live for Christ. The amount of Gay Pride flags I see everywhere I go is intense. Idk how it is anywhere else, but I feel like LA is shoving homosexually in our faces. I can't get away from it. I'm reluctant to let my 4-year-old nephew watch TV or YT because of all the LGBT commercials that are being played.

I have a gay brother-in-law who is now a Christian and lives celibate. He said the same thing, that the lifestyle is extremely dark and very selfish. My husband read The Unseen Realm when he was in seminary a few years ago and loved it.
Even the single hetero lifestyle is rife with darkness & selfishness. And I've stumbled more than a few times myself. I've been single my whole life, and when you're young, it's all fun & games. But as you get older, you start to see the benefits of having a spouse by your side.

There is only one truth from God and the rest is all lies that are being fabricated by the many who are lost and deceived. This is why you had better be very sure of what you are believing since there are millions of preachers who are leading many souls astray with their misguided interpretations of scripture. The vast majority of believers are so deceived in fact that many are foolishly believing that scripture is relating that they can never stop sinning. They clearly have no idea that God commanded us to live a holy and righteous life which can only be achieved by no longer sinning. Since we are all born in sin and in ignorance of God’s word and truth this is the reason why Jesus came into this world. Jesus came to forgive us of the sins that we have already committed and He came to teach us how to stop sinning through His Holy Spirit.
Jesus did not come to forgive our past, present and future sins as many who are deceived desire to believe and there are no such scriptures that even back up that nonsense. This spoken untruth is having people believe that they can continue to sin and then simply repent and God will just forgive them over and over. This twisted reasoning would mean that you can steal and then repent, you can lie and then repent, you can murder and simply repent. You can keep committing whatever sin you desire and just repent afterwards and you will always be forgiven. Jesus came to call sinners to repentance which meant for them to no longer sin.
So to try and justify why they still sin many deceived believers will twist the meaning of scriptures like 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. For some foolish reason these lost souls desire to believe that Paul and the apostles continued to sin and they will often twist the Romans 7 scripture to try and back up their lies. These deceived believers fail to realize that we have all been sinners at one time in our lives and Paul was simply relating how he was a sinner until he was freed by knowing Christ. They clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and he was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6.
Many also love to twist what the I John 1:8-10 is relating in order to justify their sin. This scripture is simply relating that everyone is born a sinner since we are all born in sin and ignorance of truth. It is saying that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. It is also stating that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere is this scripture ever relating that a believer will always sin as those who follow the devil and his lies desire to believe.
The Romans 3:10 is relating that none of us are righteous since we are all born in sin and this is why we needed a savior to teach us how to stop sinning. Romans 3:23 is actually stating the same thing since we are all born in sin and we all fall short of the glory of God.
Many believers who are lost and deceived try to justify their sin by claiming that the apostles were sinners themselves and they will often use the scripture where Peter denied Jesus as their justification. When they do this nonsense they are clearly revealing their complete ignorance of scripture and they prove how they are being guided by a demon spirit and not the Holy Spirit. So did the apostles all sin at some time in their lives? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. Now did Peter sin when he denied Christ? He most certainly did but many overlook how this occurred before Peter was sanctified in truth. Next, did Peter sin when Paul corrected him in Galatians 2? No he did not since Peter was following the Old Covenant laws that he was raised under and Paul was simply revealing how their old custom traditions should no longer apply under God’s New Covenant.
Many who are deceived cannot comprehend what scripture is relating in regards to the apostles. Scripture is relating that the apostles were originally sinners who willingly followed the teachings of Jesus and they allowed Jesus to sanctify their hearts in God’s truth and teach them how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for His disciples sanctification to prove what I relate.
Another thing that the many deceived believers clearly overlook is how scripture relates that God does not listen to the prayers of sinners. God’s never lies so this alone proves that the apostles could never have performed healing miracles if they were still sinners themselves. Jesus could work healing miracles because He was sinless and so God then answered His prayers. The apostles then reached the place where they overcame their sins as well and so this is why God then answered their healing prayers.
“Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.”

“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”

Scripture relates that anyone who is born of God does not sin and because they can no longer sin this is why they can no longer get sick since sickness only comes from sin and the devil. So if you can still sin and you can still get sick then that certainly proves that you are not BORN AGAIN. This is why many believers who live in sin and sickness will try and justify their afflictions by twisting scripture verses like claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. Many deceived souls desire to believe that Paul possessed a sickness so allow me to explain what Paul was relating in the 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 scripture. First, what does a thorn in the flesh do? Well it causes pain and suffering. So just as Jesus suffered in the wilderness by being tempted by Satan Jesus then allowed a messenger of Satan to tempt Paul in order to make him stronger in the Holy Spirit.
“And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
II Corinthians 12:7-10 NKJV
If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone believe that he was someone who had sickness in his own life? Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself?
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”

So scripture clearly states that whoever sins does not know God and whoever sins is of the devil. Scripture also clearly relates that whoever abides in God and is born of God cannot sin and does not sin. So anyone who sins or anyone who believes that they can never stop sinning is simply a deceived believer who cannot comprehend what scripture is relating since they are blinded to truth. They are being influenced by the lies of a demon spirit and they certainly are not being guided by the Holy Spirit. There is no sin and sickness with God and there is no sin and sickness for the true children of God. So if you are someone who can still get sick then that alone proves that you have not overcome sin. You are clearly deceived and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind.
Lastly, many do not realize that they are condemning their souls since they are willingly posting their misguided beliefs in regards to scripture here on the Internet. They have no idea that they will never be forgiven for the lies and the nonsense that they are relating since they are now someone who is blaspheming the Spirit of truth. Realize that God did not instruct us or command us to explain scripture to anyone but yet most are foolishly believing that it is their duty to try and lead others to Jesus. These deceived believers do not understand that the Great Commission was for God’s chosen disciples who were trained by Jesus and who were sanctified in God’s truth. So if you have never been sanctified in truth and you have never overcome your sins then you certainly should not be offering scriptural advice or comments to anyone.

Anyone who is now born of God does not and cannot sin and we definitely know that this does not apply to you. Realize that if you were truly living by the Holy Spirit then it would be impossible for you to sin since you would now be guided by the Spirit of God who is Holy and pure and who cannot sin. Since you can no longer sin then it would be impossible for you to ever get sick since scripture clearly relates that sickness only comes from sin and the devil. So there is no doubt that you have certainly proven that the only spirit that is guiding your ignorant and sinful life is a demon spirit.
Scripture is relating how Paul and the other apostles were sinners who allowed Jesus to sanctify their hearts in God’s truth and teach them how to overcome their sins. Jesus did this in the flesh with His 12 original disciples and He did it through His Holy Spirit with Paul. Clearly you overlooked that Jesus is alive and He now does the same exact thing with anyone who truly surrenders their will through the guidance of His Holy Spirit. This is the whole reason why we need His Holy Spirit. Sanctification is not a life long process as some believe since the apostles became sanctified in truth through the teachings of Jesus and all you need to do is read John 17:6-19 to prove as much. This is why Jesus then used them as His messengers since they were now sanctified in God’s truth and they had overcome their sins.
So you certainly have no idea what scripture is even relating and are nothing more then a deceived soul who is trying to justify why they still live in sin.

The Holy Spirit convinces us of sin and can be grieved lest we harden ourselves against him. By no means are we to continue in sin, but by the measure that you judge those who are just babes in their sanctification, you too will be judged. Job declared his righteousness as well, before God humbled him and he repented.

Becket, I found you, while trying to understand the gay community from a Christian perspective. My 14 year old daughter has started dressing more masculine in this past year. Last week, she was caught having a secret relationship with another girl. There was also drugs and alcohol present. Becket, please pray for my baby. Please pray that God will give me the love and grace she needs moving forward. Also, I have younger children in the home, too. She knows I do not accept this. She has been raised to know the truth. She is so lost right now.

My heart goes out to you. Remember that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction for things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Have faith and declare God‘s promises over your household. You may not see it yet the natural but God is working in the spiritual first. Every problem you have is an opportunity to grow in intimacy with Christ. Driving though Beverly Hills and Hollywood this last week, the amount of rainbows covering all the businesses was overwhelming. I do wonder though how many people in that area though just feel the pressure to conform because not doing so is basically seen as hostile.

I had a very close brush with homosexually, only progressing as far as pornography, curiousity, and masturbation and everything that it entails... But never became truly attracted to other males. I became a Christian before progressing further. I think unfortunately too few Christians speak about these topics for fear of shame and ridicule (especially in this climate).

An amazing book called, 'After the Ball" tells of how the authors, Kirk a neuropsychologist and Madsen, a social marketing and advertising executive explain how they use specific marketing techniques to win social approval for the gay lifestyle. One technique is to use a parallel to great events of history and iconic events to blur lines on cultural perspective. Briefly, I think gay pride is one month-long to intentionally parallel Black History month...the authors explicitly talk about moving from 'current' beliefs to 'preferred" beliefs as goals in marketing any product.

I'm so grateful for Dr Heiser's work. In college, had a lot of classes in ancient civilisations and mythology. I could never understand how ancient people, who might have been smarter than us being closer to Adam, would perform all sorts of barbaric rituals and sacrifice their children and get nothing out of it. Didn't make sense. Dr Heiser's work made the Bible go from 2D to 3D for me. Now everything that I studied made so much more sense. Understanding that there were rebellious gods granting favors for ancient people's faithfulness made a black and white book go to full color for me.

I remember those years at the beginning of AIDS. I worked in the ICU and the ER. We never wore gloves or any kind of protection for anyone before this unless they had an infection. At this point, we did not wear them with patients with AIDS even when handling fluids, because we did not know that could do anything. We were often covered with bodily fluids. Even though these men were on 100% oxygen and a ventilator, we could not get enough oxygen in them to be near normal. They were completely conscious and were mouthing HELP ME and were wild-eyed, grabbing at me, not in an aggressive way, but like they were falling off a cliff and were grabbing at me to hold them on the cliff instead of falling into the abyss. It was the saddest, scariest, helpless, and helpless feeling I ever had. I wrote helpless twice on purpose. I am sure they felt worse. I wanted so badly to do something to help each person. I would work extra shifts and cry and pray when I was not there. It was so hard to be with them because there was such a feeling of fright and urgency coming from them. We could do NOTHING to help these people and wanted desperately to do so. I held hands with them instead of taking a break or a meal at all. Once the doctors started to figure it out, we wore gloves to take blood, but that was the only difference for us. In spite of all the fluids that got on almost all of me, I never contracted it. I am so relieved there are things to help now, but when you said death, it was death. I will never forget it and hope it never happens to another person, ever. As bad as I felt, I know they felt a million times worse. I still pray for these people. I believe you can send prayers back into time to make things better than they were. You saying that brought back all the memories.

I had a dream recently and it was very short, but I feel like a got a glimpse of the spirit realm for a brief moment and I saw a rainbow that was slithering around like a snake. It was weaving in and out of the radio, TV, into shops, into homes, into parks.....everywhere. It was moving just like a snake. 🐍😮 I am so grateful that Jesus set you free from this bondage! I was a public school teacher for over 35 years. I'm not sure whose particular religious beliefs you want taught in public schools, but I find the notion quite disturbing. I can assure you that in my classroom, I taught children to follow the Golden Rule and treat everyone with respect. I don't call that brainwashing. If you want a religious education for your kids, it's up to you to provide it, not the public schools. They are paid for by tax dollars coming from people from all faiths, cultures, and ideologies.

@@Melanie_44 You put words in my mouth. I taught children of all faiths and backgrounds, it didn't matter and that was the beauty of it. No one was better than anyone else. What I said was that if YOU want your child to have a religious education, it's up to you to provide it. It should never be the job of PUBLIC schools, who are charged with educating everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual identity, etc. It sounds like you'd like to force everyone to be educated in the religion of your choice.

A family member related this story to me, when she was in college, she became friends with a young man, a fellow student who told her he was leaving the church because he was into this lifestyle. One evening they had gone to a dance together and he was giving her a ride back to her dorm. While in the car she was witnessing to him and trying to persuade him to change his ways, for a while the young man tried to justify his behavior, then a change started happening to his demeanor and physical appearance, as she tried once again to talk to him , she heard a clear voice telling her " Stop talking to him, you are in danger, once you arrive to the dorm, step out of the car, thank him for the ride, go quickly inside and do not look back".
She obeyed immediately and God opened her eyes and was able to see for a brief moment the evil lurking inside the young man. She cut all connections to him the next day.
That is so scary!

Perhaps it was her guardian angel protecting her or perhaps it was a demon guarding his prey, the young man from being rescued from sin. It’s hard to say from this story.
She abandoned the man physically for better or worse but hopefully she did not abandon him in her prayers though.
This story resonates as I just watched a video by Don Dickerson called "Dont go there.". It discusses territorial warfare but the principalities behind homosexuality have to be as powerful as those over territory. Thanking God your friend listened.
it seeems like this guy was starting to manifest a demon, as often happens when the Holy Sprit is present, and it may have been an opportunity to exorcise the demon from him, but you probably would not have been able to handle that on your own, and thus, you could have been severely attacked, so it was best for you to move on; perhaps there will be another opportunity to minister to him when you have reinforcements

When I was young and steeped in heterosexual sin I watched "Animal House". I was repulsed by the crudeness. That movie was actually part of my long road to conversion to Christianity.
Evil puts a lot of stuff out there that God turns upside down and uses for His good.
I used to think all these movies were just harmless fun and people just had problems being uptight. Little little did I know

There is no doubt, the bible clearly teaches, that there is an unseen realm and an unseen war in the heavenly places that manifests itself in things in the visible realm.
I’d just add regarding Heiser’s book, take what he says with a grain of salt. Don’t allow the unseen powers to undermine in any way your confidence in the inspiration and authority of the bible. Genesis is God’s Devine word, ‘Ancient Near East’ texts and traditions are not.
My husband and I were just talking about how the world seems so evil now. The day’s of Noah. I’m almost ready to give our TV the boot. It’s hard to watch the evil. I was just asking God, how not, to despise the people doing the evil. Then I came upon this video. Now I hope, this will stay in my heart. Don’t despise the people, but the one pulling the strings. Thank you Heavenly Father, for your answer.
I cancelled my cable TV 9 months ago and have not turned the TV on since. Haven’t watched sports, news, movies. Nothing and I don’t miss it at all.
Stopped watching TV a long time ago. Gain much more peace by reading, listening to music and just being quiet.
Hi I rarely watch tv now occassionaly something like 'who do you think you are' or a documentary here in the UK. Certainly not the news. I cannot bare the energy of psychological thrillers and murder mysteries etc., now I see what they are doing, the same with soaps........... making the lowest level behaviour seem normal and acceptable............
I've been a 'convert' to TH-cam for the last ten /fifteen years and have gained so much insight and knowledge from it via world history, psychology, the environment, rewilding and restorative farming etc and of course all spiritual streams including Christianity....... When spirit wants to get in touch amazing vids turn up in my YT feed like this one!
I follow my 'heart'! So much happier and content................

Dr chuck Missler was a excellent bible teacher who is now deceased but his teaching is on youtube. He did word for word good study on genesis 6 over 30 years ago thru 2018.

I had the same reaction to pride parade when I wasn’t saved, “this is a bizarre world… there is something not right about this” later that day I began to sob heavily, so heavily I couldn’t breathe. I remember I kept saying, “they’re lost, they’re lost.” I wasn’t saved at the time, or rather I was still walking in my sin, but I remember my soul was crying for these people.
@@pastorbri I am confused by your question but I will answer the best way I can.
I can see the emphasis on the word really. I want to state that I was probably just as lost as they were in my own sin, fornication, drug use, etc. but a part of me knew the Lord was my savior. I remember later that day I asked the people around me if they believed in God. I was saved by the grace of God, I just wasn’t walking with Him yet.
I feel it is our duty to care for those who are lost in their sin and don’t know/understand the saving power of Jesus. I wasn’t exactly versed in how Jesus was my savior, but we can tell people about it in a caring, loving way. I probably would have cried no matter what bc I’m a cry baby lol I’m sensitive as hecc but the Lord made me that way for a reason. I knew I was lost too that day I was at the Pride parade

I read Dr. Heiser's book last year and have to agree it is very spiritually eye-opening. I am so blessed to hear about what the Holy Spirit is showing you. Another informative book I recently read is "The Shinar Directive..." by Michael Lake. If you haven't read it yet, it expands (expounds?) on the very things you are talking about. The enemy hates this kind of exposure, but I pray more people will come to understand these things. God says people "perish for lack of knowledge". I respect you very much for exposing this! Hi Beckett. The teen years are a very impressionable time in one's life. You don't really know yourself and can easily be led into destructive behavior given the right people circumstances, background and environment. This is the same for smoking, drugs, drinking and etc. You are right about the over emphasis this year. Thank you for your enlightening, inspiring and teaching chats. The last time i went to a pride function the holy spirt started convicting me. I had one vile situation that stood out.and.left a lasting impression b4 leavig that community. I.was.walkimg down a main street and everyone was cheering and i was across the street, looked up and saw men jacking off on the crowd below(yuck!!). I was sicken..I heard the holy spirit say," do you want to be here if i returned"? I never looked back.😥
God told me its my responsibility to take Him at His word.. Same for us all
