Thank you for your dedication to this hobby and for being so kind in sharing precious information, always showing your exceptional good humor, good mood and good will!
Thank you for your comments. I like your Delta fountain pen, your Visconti, your Parker and, of course, your Pelikan fountain pen. I see you like flexible nibs. Happy New Year
Thank you for your comments. Yes, flexible nibs have become a sort of obsession for me even though I don’t know what I’m doing with them. The writing experience is fabulous.
Thanks for the information. I have never tried the flex nib, only EF, F and M. Based on your comments, in 2025 I will buy a fountain pen with that type of nib. Being flexible, I imagine it is better for the nib to be gold; I have searched on the internet and I have seen that the Maiora Alpha has an affordable price and being from the same group as Delta and 1911 (Nino Marino) it will have all the guarantees of good handling. Greetings
So much to look forward to. New Year in 2025 so far as fountain pens are concerned, will definitely not be a dull one. Thanks 🙏 for your hard work. Definitely a premiere channel.
A happy and joyous 2025 to you Vincenzo! Thanks for the great content, cannot wait to watch the coming videos. I'm feeling tempted to try Scribo pens, why not own one, as I have a penchant for Italian pens, and feel likewise about the Visconti Homo Sapiens. Even sight of such writing instrumtents gives me joy.
I would definitely recommend the Scribo. The writing experience with that Flexi elastic nib is really enjoyable . however if you do not like that elasticity or that softness in your nibs, then I would reconsider.
All the pens are wonderful. I have to say your choice for #1 is well deserved I wonder why your very special pen you received from your visit to Delta did not make the list. A very Happy New Year to you, Vincenzo.
That pen is so unique and one of one that I felt I needed to put in my choices pens that are readily available for everyone. However, I can assure you that in terms of sentimentality and emotion it is up there with my Dolce Vita.
Thank you very much Vincenzo! I always appreciate your videos and this is no exception. There is always new insight, creative playfulness and genuine passion on what you do - As you dedicate extra time on the subject and you meticulously write with each and every pen, you create an immediacy with the writing experience of every nib/pen, and you convey so much more than a 'regular' review. And it is always a treat for me! Happy New Year my friend - may 2025 bring the best to you and your loved ones.
The FPR flex nib on the V200 is awesome and well worth the cost of less than $100 US. I also put a 14kt gold nib from Kirk Speers on my J16 and it the best writing pen in my collection now and I have many “Grail” pens to compare it with. Keep doing what you’re doing kind sir!
Great awards video, Vincente, bravo! Amazing choices and I couldn’t agree more, albeit from the distance of only knowing these (with the exception of the Asvine v200, bought in part on your recommendation) through your video. But the inks are also quite beautiful. Could you say what they are? Thanks so much for this and all your other fantastic videos!
@ thanks for acknowledging! I was just thinking about this pen a searching ti compare your review with Doodlebud’s - but he never did one for the m800! Do you really feel the blue is a better finish than the green? I think you said there is significantly better layering-coloring effects (forgot the term!) in the blue Majohn m800 than in the green. I ordered the green but think I will exchange for blue, strongly influenced by your review!
@@fountainpentherapy just rewatched! It’s the moonman-majohn; in the video you say the galaxy blue has the best chatoyancy! Therefore I’m switching to that instead of green, on your recommendation!
Hey Vincenzo, La tua scelta dei il migliore 10 penne per 2024 è stato molto interessante, grazie. Got to say, it's always great to hear proper Italian language pronunciation. Complimenti! Also FP vids sans "The Quick Brown fox …" cliche being written is nice. Ti auguro un buon anno per 2025 e spero la penna stilografica in mano e mai senza inchiostro. 🙂
Nice, nice, nice collection! I was happy to see the Asvine V200 in there (and in my hand as well), joined late in the year by the also excellent J16! Which Duofold model is that you have? A Centennial or International? Happy to see that as well -- it was one of my grail pens early in my days in the hobby (bought it new, still looks new). Finally, I closed out the year with the Magna Carta Mag 650! A very good year all around.
Thanks, Vincenzo! Great list. There's something wrong with your Mag600, or maybe it's nearly out of ink. I never have any hard starts or railroading with my pen. But I had to adjust the tines and also cut out a sliver of ebonite that was blocking the ink channel in the feed. Happy New Year!
That pen is a very special pen and if I leave it unused for a while the first few words will be far from perfect. But a simple tap of the nip will get A going again and once the free flow is achieved it’s resurrected . as I mentioned to several of my viewers It is not a pen that I would recommend for daily writing but is definitely one I would recommend to have a unique writing experience.
@@fountainpentherapy That's the way mine did before I fixed it. You need to check the ink channel in your feed and see if it also has a sliver of ebonite in it like mine did. I used my Bergeon 0.6mm precision screwdriver to cut and dig it out. My Mag600 has been sitting unused for about 24 hours, and it started writing as soon as the nib tip touched the paper a minute ago. In the past few days, I've written three letters and used my Mag600 for the first page on all of them. Mine is a daily writer.
Happy new year to you, too, sir! Very beautiful collection, which ink did you use in the Pilot Custom 823? It looks more purple than yama-budo (which was my first guess)
Dear Vincenzo, I would like to tell you how much I appreciate your channel, your enthusiasm for the hobby, your joy in every FP you present. With the Magna Carta, I noticed that the ink somehow "smeared", the letters looked smeared. Is this impression wrong? Or is it the result of too much ink flow? Otherwise, your choices were no surprise to me. I wish you luck in choosing new FPs in 2025 and continued enthusiastic videos from the FPT studios in Montreal.
That pen is a special pen. However, unlike other pens the nib is so soft and brush like that it’s difficult to control the writing and the ink flow. It is not a pen that I would recommend for every day writing and long writing sessions .it is instead a pen to have some fun with. Moreover, if you leave the pen unused for some time you may have a hard start, there could be some railroading, and smearing but a simple tap of the tip on the paper will get it flowing properly again . the beauty is in the uniqueness of that nib in the writing experience it can give you but it’s far from being perfect.
There's something wrong with his Mag600. Mine doesn't hard start and never railroads unless it's running out of ink. So, watch videos with a grain of salt...
Fantastic annual contest!

Happy new year. Lots of FP therapy.
Thank you! And happy new year to you as well.
I know you live juicy B nibs, but your writing in Fine nibs is much easier to read and still looks great. Enjoy 2025.
Very nice list!
Thanks, I had a lot of fun making this list!
Beautiful pens, great video. You've had a very good pen year. Love that Waterman. Happy pens to come in 2025.

Can I put a Fountain Pen revolution nib on my Ranga # 3 ?
Yes, you can because I have one in one of my Ranga pens. The advantage is that you can get the Ranga nib sections in either JoWo Or Boch
Happy new year

I’m afraid not
Won't break a bank with a $1000 pen?! Let them eat cake...
There are some very interesting alternatives at a much much lower price.
