I love this remade of the Varan main title ost, it's a shame most of people knows this beautiful soundtrack because of rodan, and not for Varan.
Rodan was made in 1956,while Varan in 1958,so it's technically rodans.
@@hedo1971 this theme was first used for Varan. It didn't becomes Rodan's theme until Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster in 1964
It is very different from the original varan theme tho.

@@hedo1971 Agreed, but the real reason everyone remembers this theme is because of King Ghidorah. From my experience at least, if it wasn't for Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster, it's doubtful that people would remember this theme as well as they do to this day.

Ishiro Tanaka or maybe another monster verse monster like Quetzalcoatl (not the flying reptile)

They better don't kill him quite at the beginning. Actually, besides Godzilla himself and King Ghidorah, Radon is my favourite kaiju and I was excited af when it was announced, that he will be in King of the Monsters.
The composer for the new Godzilla sequel next year will use the classic Godzilla themes!

Used it’s last energy to revive and power up Godzilla.
It's pretty funny how Rodan's theme is just an amalgamation of the themes from Daimajin and Varan. Doesn't make it any less cool though
Actually the Rodan theme was made in 1956, Varan was made in 1958 recycling half his theme
Godzilla king of the monsters was a good film but it would have been many times better if it used the true theme of rodan
William Sholly Bear McCreary wanted to remake the original Ghidorah and Rodan themes too, but sadly TOHO didn't allow it

@@donatodicugno3630 duh, I expect people to know it earlier since Bear McCreary stated that he'll be using Godzilla & Mothra's theme only, I've heard about it months ago and of course I was bummed, but I was hoping that even though Rodan would probably have an original theme, it should still feel like what Akira Ifukube would do, and after hearing that theme hours ago, I don't know what to feel honestly.
