Patrick!! You do nothing but the best that you are capable of. I've been following you for the last 8 years and I'm well aware of your intentions. I'm still struggling with my knapping but I've learned so much from you! I'll never ask such ridiculous questions 😊
Very good channel news this week. You're very brave being out in the cold 🥶 👏 it's 17* here in Michigan and with a below zero wind chill. If it stays this cold 🥶 we'll be ice fishing soon. I only go if I'm in a heated fish house. Still have to be careful going in and out because of the 2'×4' hole inside the fish house. We fish out of that big of a hole 🕳 so we can watch the fish swim through. It's important to really see what species of fish comes through before throwing the spear. Only pike, perch, and whitefish are allowed to be speared. Everything else is hook and line caught. Take care and looking forward to seeing your indoor shop 😊 😀
Thanks to your videos, im actually making some fair looking points now. Almost as many points as turtle backy looking bigaces. The wife is still making fun of me. (I'm Injun Joe) my hobby is almost as exciting as watching grass grow. But its legal, its satisfying. I watch your videos. They help a lot.
I know. Some people just don't explore or dig into the material right in front of them. It's OK, though. Makes me think I need to state the obvious or include key words in all my video descriptions.
I was unaware of almost everything you explained about emotions and terms like executive dysfunction, it's interesting, I'm going to look into some videos about this. will be great to see news videos on your new recording set, we will all appreciate having more videos and having more products up for auction will be great and the bids will be more interesting 👍🔥 . 🦈🔱
You have been through a lot in the last year it's okay to just add things to the to do list. Just remember you don't have to put everything at the bottom and check off jobs from the top, mix'em up do some of the fun stuff first. Or if you really feel like changing things up: print out the list, cut into strips, fold the strips, put into a bowl, shake it up, and pull one out. On a more serious note look into getting a fidget. My son uses them and they help his concentration considerably. His teachers are advocates of fidgets in class for most of their students with ADHD and autism.
Pat you draw well .May be a small white board while describing some of your comments and instructions. It may occupy you hands also. You are a very talented man. Keep on yapping!
If you are building an indoor studio, it will be interesting to see what sort of dust extraction apparatus you build, you seem relaxed about it but I think it a bigger hazard than hand cuts and bruises. Eye protection is another issue but I use my old glasses and it’s surprising how much dust is on them from a few hours,
@@gregevans3785 To answer your question, I've used a double fan system in the past. One fan blowing air into the room and one extracting air. This clears the room fast. For the finer particles, I tried an air filter that utilized a pan of water at the bottom. It worked but was messy.
Question for you Patrick! I have recently found a couple pieces of Swan River Chert that I've heat treated and they're pretty ok. I'd say around a 7-8/10 on the knap-ability scale. I'll probably have some extra to send over to you if you're interested! I can send an email with some pictures if you're curious 😁 Hope you are well!

@marycomeau9364 I've got to figure out what type of fidget works for me. I've tried all the ones that my sons' have used.
Understood I will think about this 😊.

Good idea

I won't be knapping in my house. The indoor studio will be for lectures, hafting, painting, fletching, string-making, and such.

@@KnapperJackCraftyInteresting, may try something similar.
Heavy snow here,11 out now,we get the lake effect off of Lake Ontario.
Oh dang. I've heard about that.

Yes. Send me an email. I've never heard of that material.
temu had a 72 inch touch screen TV for 300 or so on black friday...Id bet that would come in handy doing you vidios..had a web cam too!!
Oh dang.
Have you ever tried putting a copper Rod under your leg?, it's called indirect method
Yeah, I heard it was a gimmick used by some grifter who thinks he's "crafty". 😂
@@KnapperJackCrafty 😂😂
I put mine under my belly 😂 works great!
@RedEyedPatriot 🤣😂
It would be nice if you put some peanuts out on that dry stack wall so we can see the squirrel in the back more often.
@@jamesmclaughlinprimitivele4587 Hmmm
I see one shimmy up those trees in the back every so often
How do you do with caffeine? Caffeine makes me tired or if enough it'll knock me out !
@kanebrown8438 Caffeine works well for me, but I take the pills. I can't handle coffee any more.
Hi, have you ever done any flintknapping videos? 🤣🤣But seriously have you tried that Knapeasy stuff?
No, I haven't tried the "knap-easy" but it looks like high-grade porcelain. It probably knaps well.
So, sounds like you plan on staying where you are?
Oh yes. I'll visit Texas often, though. 😊
Hows about ya show us your neighborhood. Unless, of course, "You cahnt get theyah form here."
Hmmm. Yeah, I could shoot a video while I take a walk.
