India is growing in PC and console market using unreal. There is a first commer's advantage. I work as junior artist for singular schemes in India using unreal engine 4. the company will soon grow as well.
Well I work with Unity, but I am re-starting with Unreal (I say re-starting, because when I started to learn Unity, I also was learning Unreal, but I had to make a stop back when I landed a job in the Unity space to focus more for that same Engine). I beleive it will be great for me to learn both, especially C++ is my favourite programming language. Now I wonder, Unity has many issues when it comes with performance, if you are not using DOTS and ECS systems in your programming, and even still I see some shortcomings regarding that. While with Unreal, especially if most of the things are programmed with C++ which is a very powerful language you can have a great performance. Of course it will always depends on how you execute the code, how many processes you have in your games and such. So I am really thinking if Unreal is not more fitting for mobile and VR, since those platforms tend to be extremely weak in terms of hardware when we compare those to high end PCs and consoles. So the more performant the game is the better I believe, I might be wrong, still I am initiating with Unreal either way xd
India also grow up in gaming industry. If games like Raji start being made in India, then India's game industry will become better... Thank you Sir, for this.
nope, mobile is still progressing slower. did you realize how many mobile games still dont have shadows on their game? because 3rd world country & low-end market is exist @@liquaard2824
My 3d games ran on Android long before Unity. Unity took 2 years to get a working build on Android and it didn't even run on the 1 android test device I had.
I have selected game design course in Ontario canada for 2 years but my collage is only going to teach in Unity however my question is that what would be my scope in future
it's okay just learn and use it, when you get the grasps of the workflow it wouldn't be that difficult to learn UE I'm currently switching around between the two engines, sometime I have to make quick prototype on those two engines before the project continues
Indian Studio switching to harder unreal after the unity screw up in theirs finance, too bad unreal need memory management to make a good game let see how many bad games we get from unity devs switching unreal lol.

Not if you want to develop on consoles...
@@kakarotsan3030 UMMM, ACKSHUALLLY there is a company that ported godot to consoles and they can make a console port of your game. Do your research
LOL. Godot is trash
godot has great 2d functionality
its 3d side doesn't compare to unity and unreal, even after the 4.0 update
