"Once again George being the epitome of good taste." That's because he was a real "team player." It was always about the song. Never himself.
Thanks Mike, great detailed lesson on a great Beatles classic.

There are a lot of Beatles lessons on TH-cam but NOTHING beats this channel which teaches the songs with accuracy and completeness as well as a background into the songs to help us understand the song and the band. Mike Pachelli does his due diligence and spends time researching before creating these videos and that is something I really appreciate and am very thankful to him.

1tpmg - Thanks but truth be told - it's not that I "know" the history of each song. I just do A LOT of research and take notes before hand. But at my age - I forget everything I said the next day!! lol

Hi Mike, you present a wonderful take, may I say on all the Beatles work since their notoriety in the early 60s and they certainly would not have been easy to emulate, without your immense knowledge of the said group and how you convey to all Beatle fans, of which I am one. But I have one small request could you possibly include Mr McCartney's bass ingenuity as I think that deserves some recognition also.
Many thanks Mike, I am so grateful to be a recipient of your TH-cam channel.

One of the many great things about the Beatles is that you've heard their songs all your life, and every once in a while you hear a little something that you never noticed before. Now Milke just showed us a whole bunch of them at once! And another perfect example of George giving a song just exactly what it needs.👍👍

George seemed to stand behind the genius of Lennon and McCartney but at least he was the one who made a song a Beatles song.

Mike! What a hero! Absolutely love your videos!
I’m “George” from a UK Beatles tribute called the Fab Beatles.
We formed in 1991 and did amazingly well. We’ve recently regrouped (after many years apart) as an acoustic 3 piece (John, Paul & George) as we just ❤️ playing Beatles tunes :)
Back in the early 90’s we didn’t have the luxury of the internet, so I used to painstakingly pick apart George’s guitar parts by ear.
In many cases I got it right, but your videos have been a huge inspiration and help to me, as I quite clearly got things “not quite right” in many other songs! 😆
A huge thanks to you and your brilliant channel! 😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love your enthusiasm - keep up the good work!

When john strums on all the videos I've seen he doesn't even look like he's concentrating... its like he's thinking of something other than what he's actually doing... its like it's all such a breeze for him... even on let it be he's constantly joking about or clearly thinking of something else...just a natural

I’m always amazed at how many chords the Beatles used in their songs. Certainly not a 3-4 chord band. Their upbringing in the clubs and their vast repertoire of songs of many genres really taught them well! Their songs hold up because they are so good! Plus, to get all those amazing changes, here, in less than 2 1/2 minutes-astounding!!

Stunning Mike, please keep the facts coming as well, some we know, some we've forgotten but you've a knack for digging out some gems I've never heard. Somebody mentioned above about hard copy lessons, can only agree, I've a couple of Beatle dvd lessons from years back that I often return to. As for the playing I've always thought his rhythm guitar a cut above the rest, absolutely love your 12 string rendition. Have to hold myself back from skipping forwards to your version on each video.

I've also been playing guitar about 55 years and used to think that the Beatles sound was studio magic. Part of it was that they had different gear from me and my friends (no tube Vox amps and we couldn't afford Gretch guitars). The ideas and voicings that George used were different enough to cause us to play most of the songs incorrectly. Thank you for clearing up many issues!

Nothing you can do to top this…but you will.! I bought the old bootleg Yellow Dog with the 9 takes. Although I’m not a musician, I was immediately aware that this apparently simple song that I had been listening to since it was released was superbly and complicatedly played by John. I listened to this in my car every day for months on end, strumming the gearshift knob as accurately as I could while singing along. Seeing your video, I don’t think it was weird anymore! You’re amazing.
