I was in the ICU the first time it happened. After the third collapse I had a partial lobectomy, losing part of my lung.

I admire Mr Windham. He saved someone's life at the risk of being arrested. He respectfully explained the situation to the judge. The judge helped him as much as she could when she understood the situation. The man really deserved a break and he got one.
I do feel like we don't do enough for people who are trying to do. Right, but it's almost impossible. There are many places that you cannot live without a Driver's license. Because otherwise you will be stranded. Even unable to work, and once you get in that reciprocating Circumstance it's really hard to get out of it. I do have a lot of empathy and compassion for people who aren't trying to buck the system, The system is just too much for them to get past

If he has proof that he was trying to get another person to hospital as an emergency and no-one else was there, then he probably saved this persons life. That probably comes under the Good Samaritan act but I am not sure about that. Anyway glad his testimony was listened to and the judge helped him.
