But the truth is that I only represent men that mostly are VERY well off, and a few that are just well off. I am usually representing men that I have written their pre nuptial agreement, and am there to make sure that the agreement is enforced. As of yet, I have not had one voided. I have had to go to the appellate court twice when the local judge decided to be an activist and not a jurist. A pre nuptial from me is quite lengthy and requires that the signing party seek legal representation PRIOR to signing. It addresses every possible scenario, children, infidelity, abuse, and sadly enough embezzlement, and property theft (which has happened more than one would believe) and how that scenario will be addressed if a divorce occurs. A judge that retired came to me and had me draw up his pre nuptial because after the death of his wife, he was considering a relationship again, and said that he wanted me to write his, because he felt that it was the most air-tight document he had seen in his career.

She (most likely) doesn't know shit about how the system works and what the Judge did and how that is benefiting her. She only sees that the deadbeat who left her hanging while doing work under the counter just got "away" with it.
That doesn't excuse her outburts, but it may explain why she's angry with the court, she only sees how the court is "pampering" him and doesn't realy help her case.

I will never understand inmates use the jail phone to break the law or talk about cases when it tells you it is recorded. It is like a mini competency exam

And now you're revoking my phone privilege and I won't be able to contact my victim except by third party people which I'm also restricted from doing? I'm deeply hurt by that ruling. I've come to the conclusion that 90% of people who get arrested are idiots. Walk-into-walls stupid. Yes, there are those who get arrested mistakenly. And there are those smart people who decide to break the law for calculated reasons (killing spouse for insurance money, for example), but these jackwagons who catch case after case after case, they're just not smart. And then there's the 1/3rd of people in jail who are mentally ill....
The overwhelming majority of criminals are not at all masterminds. They are poor and uneducated with a lot having serious drug/alcohol addictions and/or mental health issues.. It surprises me that you do not understand and never will understand why these people do things you would not.

We never had a car or house phone we had an outside toilet and had baths on Sundays in a tin bath in the kitchen but we never went hungry and always had clean clothes

So much so that I don't need to tell them daily. They know how much I love and value them. Even if I didn't see or communicate with them for 20 years, they would still know. As I would know their love for me. That's the relationship we have. Perhaps I could have worded my comment differently, but this video was a reminder. It didn't elicit an epiphany.

Point of order - Employees are put into the payroll system at the point they sign the contract of employment. This is signed BEFORE the job starts. In fact, in several cases where this was not identified quickly enough, my previous employer even PAID the first month's wage to people who signed but never turned up.

I am so ashamed of this judge. She literally told him to shut up and do his job, and when he threatened her with contempt, she says good luck. Twice. And he pretends he doesn't hear her. smh It's no wonder we're in so much trouble.
Yeah I was more than annoyed by it too. You have to maintain court decorum. It needs to be known that if you don't respect the process and you can't control yourself long enough to get through court respectfully, that you will go to jail, period. It's the only way to effectively try to make sure things go smoothly. These people don't respond to veiled threats that aren't followed through with, they only respond to the inside of a cell.

Miss Bridges seemed to have more of a need making it impossible for him to pay child support than the child support payments.
I have dealt with a lot of elementary-school children who do the same thing: they don't obey the rules, they don't adhere to their special behavior plans, and then they argue when the consequences come down. It was a rough part of town, and the kids did not have good role models; the parents/guardians argued with the school, too. I wish there were more interventions and services available to help them.
Why we are losing so many teachers. These folks we see in most of these criminal cases are the ones that teachers have tried to educate, show affection toward, have tried to deal with their parents (or whomever), and go out of their way for the students in many, many ways (ie find clothes for them, wash & dry their clothes, buy them books & school supplies, etc.) at their own expense.

I've twice attended hearings where I knew the opposing party was going to make me cussing mad. I brought along a notebook and pen to keep myself in check. Whenever I felt like screaming and cussing, I'd write it all out in huge letters with lots of exclamation points and angry faces. 😂

Wonder what she does for a living? I was a single Mother and worked full time. Was to pay $50 a month child support and we got nothing. He didn't even bother to visit his son. Raising a child alone is hard but you can't complain he don't support his children if she don't.

Ms. Bridges acts just like my son's mother. 😮 My ex was very sweet up until she got pregnant, then all hell broke loose. She now has 8 kids by 7 different guys and has been married 3 times. All before the age of 40!! We met back in 2001 and she made my life a nightmare up until a few years ago.
