Purposely made noisy gear drive set for replacement of timing chain they make quiet ones too the the beauty is they never wear out or stretch and valve timing is never compromised In any way but I don't like the noise either it sounds like a roots style. Blower

There's not many options. I like comp cams thumper. You can call them and they will tell you which cam is best for your application

Not really sure. Never had it dynoed
Never been a fan of the gear drives the noisy ones anyway
why is the engine so noisy?
