    Fr. Ripperger has described himself a grinder in his work as an exorcist. After having listened to his sermons over the years I find he was exactly doing that to me. He grinded the truth into me. I can never thank The Lord or Our Blessed Mother enough for giving us Fr. Ripperger.

    Thank you, Father Chad for this conference. Much valuable information and advice here. Sometimes what you say is quite frightening but I feel that what you tell us is true. What i appreciate the most is your advice to pray the seven sorrows of our Lady rosary every day. Doing this I have found that I can accept suffering better, with love and acceptance . May our blessed Lord and the most holy Theotokos protect you and always be with you.

    This explains what some people are telling me I’m dull. I have no interest in going out in public, to plays, concerts, parties, shopping, vacations, amusements. I just don’t enjoy them. Everywhere I go with few exceptions I encounter nasty, mean-spirited people, have to see people doing disgusting things without any shame, in fact, they’re proud of them and thrust them in your face. Or something simple proves to be infinitely complicated due to nonfunctioning technology, people who don’t do their jobs, who can’t understand or construct simple sentences, can’t do simple tasks, have no common sense. Something that should take 30 minutes or less takes three hours, and still isn’t done. You have to start all over again the next day. I pretty much ignore the novus ordo, and even the traditional arguments and crises. I do like listening to Fr. Ripperger conferences at 2:00 AM.
    I’d much prefer to stay home with my cat, read, pray, meditate, be alone in nature.

      Sisters in Christ, I too feel like I am going thru a darkness of worldly things. I don’t enjoy things I used to. It all seems pointless unless it is Godly. I so want to be done in this world and look forward to a new beginning with our Lord. Almost everything created is null and void to me. Crave spiritual things..

    • @rosaryworkout
      @rosaryworkout 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      I understand, but I also think it's important for us to shine the light of Christ in the world. So often, people just start talking to me because I will listen. I smile, look into their eyes, and patiently listen, asking Jesus that they see Him and not me. When I do my nightly Examen, I try to remember the people I encounter or noticed and pray for them. There are so many lost souls out there, and we can bring Christ to them or ask Him to forgive their sins and save their souls.

    • @amybeckerle6440
      @amybeckerle6440 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I can relate.. however God had a different path for me. And praise be that He did. I realized that I was just keeping all that He gifted me to myself… creating my own safe bubble. It was nice and peaceful … organized and safe. He called me out into a new role of mom to 6 at home… loving in action, sacrificing my time alone with Him in order to be His love to those that needed it most. When I’m longing for quiet contemplation I just do my best to praise Him for the gift of all He has given me. The many opportunities to love. Without sacrifice it isn’t love. It’s just self service. There’s no merit there. Love compels us to go out into the muck and live as a monstrance to the world! There are so many poor souls that are lost and need your witness as to how you’ve found peace and love. It is no longer I that live but Christ in me. We MUST be His precious hands and feet … we too must say “Father, Your will be done.”

I would recommend a book called Conversation With Christ: The Teaching of St. Teresa of Avila About Personal Prayer by Peter Thomas Rohrbach. It gives you practical steps and really helps with meditation !

      St. Teresa of Avila and St. Therese of Lisieux both complained of problems with distractions. To some extent, they simply aren't overcome in this life. Just keep showing up. Lectio Divina has been very fruitful for me, despite not being able to focus on it for more than 3 minutes without distraction. Often we have to do things badly before we can do them well.
