- Looking to ditch the W-2 and obtain financial freedom, but are finding yourself too busy? In this episode of Rookie,Travis Watts shares the ins and outs of passive investing.
In 2009, as the market was hitting unprecedented lows, Travis decided to start investing in real estate. He purchased a single family home to start, then began house hacking, moved on to some fix and flips, bought some vacation rentals, and before he knew it, he was a very active real estate investor. There was one problem though. Travis was working 90+ hour weeks in the oil industry.

To answer Tony’s question , my first syndication deal was a bunch of small cottages in the poconos that are used as STRs. I’m a LP and get monthly cashflow and hope to build a new chalet the refi to get half of our initial investment out. So far so good
buy and hold...class b...cash flow...exactly what I need...
Great content on mentality and method! Thanks a ton.
Is there any way to get ahold of older podcast episodes? TH-cam only has ep.67( I believe). And as a rookie I'd like to start at the beginning.
Again, thanks a ton.
