That Kramer pan, what a robbery! great format Pat you got to keep this going. I'm not a sport guy but tonight, for the first time in my life I felt the thrill of the game thanks to Pedro and Rob, two great athletes.
Oh man this is fun. Great job by Pedro and Rob. A couple of suggestions - I think it could use a little more scoring. Maybe having the set list available to the players would help and add a little strategy to the game. Maybe negative 1 point for audience shots/no band members in the frame. You are a wonderful guy Pat.
Yo Pat seriously, this game is amazing. Like seat grippingly thrilling, entertaining, and hilarious. True brilliance, maybe even lightning in a bottle. Please do more of these
Variant suggestions: 1. On their turn, contestant guesses the timestamp only and automatically gets the points for whoever's there. That way they're always scoring and the goal is to get those rare bandmate shots. 2. On their turn, contestant guesses the timestamp, Pat navigates to 10 seconds before, plays 5 seconds and pauses 5 seconds before, contestant guesses one bandmate, other contestant guesses any one of the remaining bandmates. That way, they know the song and where they are in the song and can potentially anticipate who's going to be in the shot.
Game format adjustment: players take turns picking times. The time picker gets first choice of band member, the other player picks a remaining option. Exact frame match (current rules style) scores double points, otherwise, the video keeps playing until o e of the two choices appears. No more air balls.
Holy shit, sorry I missed it live, but this is a fun idea and fun to watch back. Pedro and Rob, major Game, you two. Pat-fun idea! Totally worth a regular run. And for The ‘smith, “Twins” definitely needs to be a category. Also in a group shot *with* Jumbotron, I think consideration needs to be given to Jumbotron. Worked out with the “who’s closest in the wide shot” this time, but I’m thinking if there’s discrepancy, Jumbotron’s got the get.
Also, as a pro editor, filmmaker, and a baseball fan… you 100% need to scrub thru every dang spot, there are 24 fames of potential Whitford every single timecode number.
Absolutely phenomenal. I’m looking up the members of bands that I like now so that hopefully I can compete in the next frame game. Love this video. That Kramer pan was MEAN.
If you use the left and right arrow keys you can rewind or advance by 5 seconds, it's better than a mouse for fine-tuning when scrubbing through a long video *you can also use the comma and period keys to go single frame at a time, for a photo finish like at 1:12:00
This is my kinda game. I've loved watching this. Here's an idea in order to spice up the scoring: Why not use the Audience as a sort of bingo free space? No guessing for the audience, keep it on the band, but if the frame happens to land on a fan? Boom. Free point.
Hilarious shit... lemme suggest- if you're going to pick contestants for their Aerosmith knowledge, I say let 'em see the setlist, then they can test their memory of the song structures to hone in on likely featured players... ya know, like Battleship
^^^ this. and I was thinking actually you play from -30s to -20s and you let them guess based on listening to the clip what is likely to be on the screen, cuz then as you said you have to rely on your knowledge of the song
@@victormynameisvictor I'm also thinking it'd be interesting for the contestant to pick the timecode for the other player... would remove some of the photographic memory bias...
Great game. I think you should keep Pedro and Rob in, like the Globetrotters and Washington Generals. For the next one, go Depeche Mode, and Fletch is an auto-win if he is actually doing anything.
Julia Andrews would be so proud of that vocal. The singer of offspring has his ph.d in molecular biology, so another doctor on the stage. I just imagine an awkward arrangement where he promises to jam with his ph.d advisor, as sort of being a compensation for being a diversion of lab resources while he is on tour, and how awesomely awkward that would be.
it's 2AM on a work day in Tel Aviv. cant believe i watched this epic battle. it was better and more intense than the NBA playoffs. which reminds me. can you get scott foster as a guest referee next time? I know he likes money so im sure we can raise the amount to get him to come.
What if you go by every 1 minute (or 2 minute window or something) is a turn. so 0:00 - 1:00 player 1 would pick a time between those two and a band member, and then see where it lands. Then player 2 picks in 1:00 - 2:00 And you can have a rule like "If a player picks within the last 15 seconds of a minute, the other player cannot pick in the first 15 seconds of their minute" Or just skip every other minutes, like Player 1 gets 0:00-1:00 and Player 2 gets 2:00-3:00 Or, if you set up P1 to get 0-1 and P2 gets 1-2, have them give you their band members and timecodes together, so that one players late minute guess doesn't affect the other player's early minute guess? Idk I'm tired but this was fun
How about: start at 0, pick a time stamp between 30 seconds and 3 minutes after current, only going forward. Game ends when credits role. Adds clock management to the game and removes any possibility of "counting cards", though i do worry the small increments will be too predictable.
The flaw in this game is no rule for calling times/members close to what you’ve called before. Either of these guys could remember a call they made their first few turns.
I've seen some TH-camrs do a slo mo. I think it's possible by pulling up from the time bar and then arrow keying along. I've tried to no luck but think it's possible on some set ups!
I think 7 or 8 points would be good, speed up the game. Maybe make the scoring more bundled. Like if Tyler and Perry are both 1 point, the pair would be worth 2, along with kramer. Brad and Tom worth 3. And things like crowds could be a multiplier, ex You call Kramer and get a crowd, your next pick is double if you call it right. If you get it wrong nothing happens, other than losing the chance to get a double score. Maybe if your pick is in the shot, it counts as a +1 on your next pick if you get that right. ex. You pick Perry, the frame is Perry & Tyler, no points awarded, but if you get the next pick correct you get +1 to that pick.
This was super fun! Thanks Pat for hosting and thanks Rob for being a great competitor.
You played great!

For someone that doesn't smoke weed, this is the most '2 in the morning stoner' idea ever. Never stop Pat.
I can't get over how god damn funny and exciting this game is. Pat you're a friggin' once in a generation type genius.
Honestly so sick

Great for Apple Harnois to finally get some respect for his work on the 'prompter
Big for the Apple
Finnerty’s a national treasure. I’m still lollin from LAST night’s vid! 😅🤘 “Yer f*cked, Rob, & you _know_ it.” 😂

pat how is literally everything you come up with genius
46:45 is such pure distilled comedy gold, i'm crying laughing, thanks Pat and please do more of these
The Kramer Pan was absolutely brutal
Poor Rob, he almost had it 😂
And the dissolve to Perry one second too late. Also brutal.

I cant wait for my grandkids to ask me "Where were you in the summer of '24 when the Frame Game was won on a Whitford?"
This was super fun and funny. Both Rob and Pedro were perfect for this game. Nice synergy on all ends
I Need more of this.
Pat - you never remember the times they say. Pedro actually got the crowd shot correct at 1:42:50 but you stopped 9 seconds early!
It’s driving me crazy. He needs to start writing the time down cause I’m losing it. They stopped correcting him and are just like “yeah whatever.”
He needs to do a rematch for sure. Invite them both back on
Also, to rewind 5 secs just hit the left arrow instead of trying to micro the time bar. Right arrow to advance the same.
This was so much fun to watch. Well done!!!! Thank you Pat for being the true Hot Steppa
Fantastic! FYI, you can hold shift and press the < and > keys to speed up and slow down TH-cam playback

It was driving me nuts! A few lost points for sure
We need a honking on bobo boost where you get 2x points for Tyler
The Bobo Boost
Oh lord, that was incredible. Please keep this going!
Awesome game. This definitely has legs. I look forward to seeing more.
Absolutely phenomenal. I’m looking up the members of bands that I like now so that hopefully I can compete in the next frame game. Love this video. That Kramer pan was MEAN.
This is like an online DLC for Calvinball, but music themed, gotta keep playing and refining those rules for the home version.
love it! please do more!
Just finished watching the frame game. Now I’m going to binge some Aerosmith Rig Rundowns
mom i’m on TV
You put in a good shift there pal

I loved every minute of this.
This was amazing.
This was so fun to watch! The world is so stupid right now- i needed the laugh.
Sad I missed this. Had it all day
What happened to the Blink 182 Blame Game from last night. I went to bed and wanted to watch today, now its gone.
This was fantastic! I hope it becomes a thing
This is killer idea, Pat. Fun as hell.
Awesome. I think Foo Fighters could be fun. 8 points for the Rami Jaffee who yes, I did have to look up the name of 😂.
The moment I heard "we've got Pedro" I hoped it would be a Brazilian. Happy to see my country well represented there!
bought had a heart attack when the chickacka intro finally kicked in
This is a great idea. Good work, Pat
This is THE BEST! Thanks Pat!

Well, it took four days so watch the entire framegame, but I’m glad I made it through 😃
This was a good game. I’m down for future videos. Live would rule.
So happy i guessed the first one, but could never ever name them all
Yes to this idea.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers?I guessed immediately even though I was watching 20 hours after it posted...

Americas Hottest new game show! I’d watch this in syndication.
Excellent format, I want stream overlays! Imagine if a wild Beato appeared in the crowd, would that be an automatic win or loss?
Please do this every week

The bassist and drummer are the two I couldn't name off the top of my head. Brad Whitford doesn't get enough credit though. Very under rated

Ah man, I am never gonna get to play this game because the only bands I can name all the members of are Duran Duran and the Beatles.
genius!
You should do Aerosmith every single time. That would be funny af.
This is a fantastic concept, you couldn't write some of those beats.
this is the best game ever
I would kill at a white stripes frame game

game may end in a tie*
some close kramers in there. should be negative 1 point if you guess audience and it doesn't hit.
