I just found out that totally removes color tonight when I decided to wash my hair with it after dying my hair silver a week and a half ago, I'm extremely pissed right now since I didn't know it would remove the color, well looks like I get to expose my hair to even more developer and hair dye later this week, thanks a ton head and shoulders for ruining my hair and my week.
I am Who I am supposed to be between 30-50 mins. Also supposed to either clim film wrap it or carrier bag over the top after application, exactly like when you dye it

Baking soda dawn head and shoykders shampoo wet hair before you put it on just like in this video. Leave ir on for 30 minutes check the fade every 10 minutes it works

She says she's trying to fade her hair to dye it brown that doesn't make absolutely any sense in almost any capacity. Given your hair is bleached blond you could easily dye over it as it is even with the purple in it the brown will overpower it by far especially when using permanent dyes

You are adorable and entertaining! One thing would be - I've seen in other videos that this should be added to dry hair. It may not have worked very well because of the wet hair. Also, leaving it on for longer seems to help. All that said - I actually love the way your hair works with blonde + purple! Too bad the job won't allow it :) Also - cute pup ♥
Does this work to remove L’Oréal casting crème gloss? The package says it is semi-permanent and will fade after 28 times using shampoo but I don’t like the colour so I want to get rid of it as soon as possible! It is a blonde shade by the way.
Hii! I’m honestly not sure! Doesn’t hurt to try! But from the comments people have been leaving definitely leave it on for way longer than I did! A lot of them suggested 2hrs!
You can just dye it back to brown on top of that, it's fine. Any color removing process will continue to damage and dry out your hair. The only issue you could have is the brown looking too ashy (bc purple canceled out the brass tones), just use some reddish, warmer brown tone and it'll be fine.
I’ve experimented using vitamin c but vitamin c completely dries out your hair and damages the same amount maybe more than using something like joico ...I’ve experienced this many times and had to cut my hair and dye it brown ....your hair will not recover it is safer to go to a salon or get a color remover ...please don’t do the vitamin c...in any circumstance it is always better to go to the salon to remove it at once rather then continuously apply this stuff that dries out your hair and kills it more making it porous
Honestly it didn't work because she did it on WET hair, he should've left her hair dry. And because she didn't use nearly enough. You have to LATHER your hair in this stuff. And leave it on for like an hour. It worked on my blue, it faded from a turquoise color to a greenish to a super super light silver color.
Your dog is beautiful.I dyed my hair with manic panic I went for the black one but it was super difficult to get rid of it it turned out green I tried to wash it out with dawn,soap and ace haha it was a mess but it worked
Hi! I basically just eyeballed it but if you do - for instance, 1cup dawn to 2 cups head+shoulders or like 1/4 cup dawn - 1/2 cup head+shoulders ect. You'll be good!
I burned my scalp SO badly w vit C and head n shoulders.so BE CAREFUL EVERYONE! (To be clear, its prob my fault. I used 40 vit c tabs. Dnt remember the mg. And ofc a shampoo. N then put a processing cap on. N left it for OVER 45 mins 😬 eeek. Ik. A bit much. ) and next thing u know im rinsing out n the luke warm water alone touching my scalp was extremely uncomfortable. I couldnt even brush my hair after bc it was SO sore. It did fade my pink/purple artic fox dye at least 3 shades. (had been that color for 3 months on top of light blonde hair) so even tho i know the burned scalp was in big part to some errors i made along the way, ive been verrry hesitant to try it again. (I waited 2 weeks then used punky colour color off n it all came out except rite by my roots..even tho i coated that part v well) so i MIGHT try the vit c on the lassst bit of faded pink near my roots n see hoe it goes n avoid any on my scalp 🤔 (ive got about half inch of natural virgin roots then the faded pink roots for about and inch...rest is light blonde (my hairs down to my butt so a LOT of blonde w a little weird strip of pink 😣) gl everyone! Learn from MY mistakes. 😂

(It even comes w a hair mask for after 👌) and its cheap and sold rite at sallys. If ur hairs extra thick n shoulder length or longer, u night want two. My hairs to my bum. But thin and so one box was good. With my stained roots left after the punky kit... i got desperate.. SO i retried the Vit C treatment! Except i tweaked it a bit. I used less vit C tablets. Slightly less head and shoulders. And about a teaspoon of dawn blue dish soap. And just a fee drops of water to help it all lather up nice. It covered and penetraited my hair MUCH better then my first time where it burned my scalp bad. I used a brush to apply it so it wouldnt get on my roots or scalp at all. And left it for about 20 mins. Rinsed it w warm water, and i could actually see the dye running out. I was pumped bc nothingggg was taking it out! I wish i cud post a before and after here bc it really worked awesome. But id still deff say do the punky off first. (And id also say maybe not do a vit c n punky off the same day. As the vit c does make ur hair feel dry. N the punky does have bleach in it.) If u decide to try either, and have annny questions come bk n lmk. The directions for the punky colour kit were ehhh. Vauge at best. But i worked it out. N i can give u more accurate measurements for the vit c treatment as well. 😊

Thank you!! Well it's complicated. I actually bought him on craigslist and the person I bought him from told me he was a Pomeranian/ Poodle mix and as a puppy he did look like that. But now that he's grown he has super wired hair and also such short legs -- none of which are characteristics of either the Pomeranian or poodle. So we THINK, from things we researched and picture comparison that he's a Whoodle -- Wheaten Terrier/ Poodle Mix... We definitely want to get him DNA tested soon though so may have a solid answer for you in the near future!
From a google search recommendation, I took out (mostly anyway) manic panic ultra violet using head & shoulders charcoal shampoo with baking soda in a 1-1 ratio. 5 washes, then using garnier fructise damage eraser conditioner. It took it from really bright color (i only had it in a week), to a light lavender/rose color. I've actually gotten a TON of compliments on the faded color (oh also i had virgin hair which i bleached prior to coloring). but yeah...head & shoulders with baking soda!!
I’ve been dying my hair for the past three years and I’ve dyed it every single color by now! Girl the only thing that will get that purple out will be a hair color removed but I would suggest using beyond the zone radical color remover because you can use it with just water, even though I still use it with developer.
I did end up having to use color remover after this! and it did get the purple out! Thank you for the recommendation! Next time I'll have to use that one because the one I used - while it did the job - my hair felt like absolute straw after and I had to do quite a few conditioning hair masks to get it back to normal!

I tried doing so on dry with vitamin c and shave clarifying shampoo. I added some conditioner to soften it and it worked great

I had red dye in my hair and I did the Dawn/H&S/vitamin C wash and it took all of the color out in 2 washes. Purple must just be a beast!
