My fav band. But so, very false. They have had bad sound, Jeff wasn't into it. Warrel was tired or drunk or couldn't sing, or insane. Depending on the night or time period. Up to a third of their shows are great. A third are garbage, sadly. Van was always a beautiful machine tho.
Very true even when I saw them at a small night club in Colorado Springs called pure energy, they only played to about 50 people but it was awesome! Also a very humble group of guys every time they came to Denver my girlfriend and I went to see them by the 3rd show they knew us by name and hung out before the show. will miss mr. Dane always such a funny fucker.
Broderick is only perfect technical guitar player, but he brings nothing in terms of live performance or creativity. Look at his portfolio with Megadeth. And Steve - he is crazy motherf***r on stage and a great composer
@@rodrigomello6224 lol did chris broderick even write any material for nevermore? I don't think he did, not that I didn't think he was a perfect fit for nevermore.... when I met him at the nevermore gig I told him so
@@kingkongmalunggay At that point probably Marty was a better player than Jeff. I mean Jeff was really young. I think it worked out well for both. There's no way that in Megadeth anybody else was going to write songs other than Mustaine which I don't mind because he is a riff god.
100% Nevermore were too good for the metal community, having both Loomis, Warrel and Van Williams (..and Broderick, live) in the same band. Imagine becoming a fan in 2010 and never getting the opportunity to see them :(
This song is so brutal!!! What a lesson in violence!!! In my honest opinion, this was their top performance age. Great line up, great songs, great live performance.
Gigantour was definitely the best metal festival in the states. Dave Mustaine doesn't just know how to pick great guitar players for Megadeth but he also knows how to put up a festival. Megadeth, Anthrax, Motorhead, Overkill, Black Label Society, Dream Theater, Opeth, Symphony X, Nevermore, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy and Lamb of God he picked great bands. It also would have been cool if he also included Velvet Revolver, Alice In Chains, Danzig, Angel Witch, Anvil, Dio, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, King Diamond, Exodus, Annihlator, Testament, Sanctuary, Iced Earth, Outworld, Firewind, Adagio, Angra, Blind Guardian, Porcupine Tree, Amon Amarth, Wintersun, Dimmu Borgir, Cynic, Decide, Nile, Cannibal Corpse, 3 inches of Blood, Strapping Young Ladd, Shadows Fall and As I Lay Dying just to name a few more during the mid-millenia when half of these bands were alive and at their peak.
I know this comment is 6 years old, but the yodeling is in the actual track on the album. If you are listening closely you can hear it in the background. If you have good headphones it helps a lot too.
@@karan7377 what you're saying is that you need to build a tolerance to his awfulness... I've listened to nevermore over the years and omg do I cringe everytime he sings out of rythm and also when he tries to accommodate words on top of riffs that really don't fit in at all, sort of like putting pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that don't fit together.🧩
@@cr-cn4ky I can understand that he's an acquired taste. My girlfriend can't stand nevermore because of him. But to me his voice is so filled with emotion, I just think he sounds amazing
Gigantour in Milwaukee Wisconsin, 2005, was when I discovered my favorite band of all time. I miss Nevermore so much. RIP Warrel.
These guys always gave 200% in their performances...true legends!

Warrell Dane was not only a great singer but an amazing lyric writer as well. \m/ \m/
@kennym6692 don't speak for others. That's only you.
Musically these guys are insanely good that I never listened to the lyrics and wow those first lines give you something to think about.
One of Warrel's most accurate performances Iv'e seen
That's exactly what I wanted to comment, too! 👍 Hope he rests in peace ... wherever he is now...
Best vocal performance i saw of this song live. Warrel was on fire
Best Nevermore's line-up...
Steve Smyth added so much to the chemistry and the writing.
I agree, but the formation with Chris Broderick is more technical.
With Steve is speed!

I agree. The one with Tim Calvert was a close second.

Van Williams is extremely underrated...
Who’s that
@Marco Battiston Agreed. I always loved his artistic choices behind the kit.
for sure
@@isaiahgrandt5305Their drummer.
The entire band was underrated. A lot of people haven't even heard of them. It's honestly criminal.
The best band alcohol ruined. RIP Mr Dane. You are dearly missed.
Jeff be like : Didnt get selected in Megadeth? Imma make a band and pwn them in their gigantour with the most brutal song.
if he was two years older back then, Megadeth would have a different history from what we all know.

Wow, Incredible performance by one of the best Bands ever in the Metal sphere

Such a beautiful and heavy song! Wonderful performance!
RIP and All Hail the Great WARRELL DANE
que performance é essa, bicho. assisto esse vídeo há tantos anos e sempre me impressiono
I'm a little late to this party but damn, this is fuck yes.
Jeff Loomis is always boss.
This is my number one go to, when I get tired of my normal favourite metal Tunes, and need something that KICKS ASS to All of it. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼😉

It seems to speed up a bit near the beginning, great live version though!
Melhor versão. Que voz.
Holy cow!!! It's unreal.
Best song ever, of the best band ever.
Nevermore like 👍
pure awesomeness!
Faster than the original ... damn
Man, how old was Loomis here? Such a fantastic guitarist.
