Warrel lives through me. This whole band did in my darkest years!!! And my best years !! My go to so that I can feel. The only time I could feel is hearing the lullaby’s of NeverMore. Through dark through light through nothingness! Singing the masterful lyrics with the realest of emotions can never be described . The melodies! The beats!!! My gawd!!! I’ll never forget NeverMore!!!

Nothing makes me nostalgic for my 20s more than that knowledge that Nevermore was going to be playing in the area every couple years. I've seen them 5 times and I wish I would have watched them more.

Nevermore is a great band...Their music is inspired, soulful and heavy, their live performances are also great. I think it's time for them for the next level. In my opinion they should be by now amongst the biggest heavy metal bands of all time

I was lucky enough to see NM during the "dead heart" tour here in Athens and then again some years later. I also saw Warrel during his solo tour playing the "dead heart" album in its entirety. So many good memories.

He plays a 4-string tuned as the thickest strings on a 5-string. Are you saying that a 5-string cuts better i a mix? He tried out a 5-string, but his fingers turned to mush, so he restrung the 4-string instead. And you wouldn`t hear him any better with a 5-string :)

Where did bands like this go? These days you either have those vocalists who are constantly angry, screaming in every song. Or operatic, power metal like vocals. And then either simple, pop-ish sound or something overly proggy with boring songs that don't really go anywhere. Nevermore was great, RIP Warrel.
