Vocals still might be tuned afterwards anyway. Clean vocals. Screams aren’t doing good with tuning usually. Eventually I’m happy that artists are showing their true skills, cuz listeners are so tired of autotune and so on nowadays. My point is vocalist must sing good live too as the guitarist and drummer who must play live the same they do on recordings. If you can’t play something, don’t make out to record it! Then practice. I think she growls better than all dudes. It doesn't end up too lost in the mix and her top end on something like "dirty moths sting" has a bite to it that most guys can't get. There's a certain clarity to it that sits well in the mix.
