  • The basic structure of the affirmative of the future simple: Note:
    With the future simple the modal auxiliary (modal verb) is used together with the basic form of the main verb (the infinitive).
    Note: In the future simple the verb does not change form when "he, she, it" is used or when it is spoken in "third person."
    The basic structure of the negative of the simple future:
    Note: Collapsed form: "won't" = "will not".
    Note: In the negative sentences in the simple future the verb goes in the infinitive and the auxiliary "won't" is used.
    The basic structure of the future simple interrogative:
    Note: To ask the question in the future simple interrogative simply exchange the modal verb "will" with the subject.
    Note: The word "some" and "any" sometimes mean the same thing. The main difference is that "some" is usually used for affirmative and "any" for negatives and questions.
