They already showed prototype images of their prime bee and it looks incredible, these types of figures take a long time to make, we shouldn't rush them specially because they're a relatively small third party company compared to big dogs like unique toys
7:54 A neat detail I noticed in the show about Optimus's ankle/shin guard: When Optimus is like kneeling with his foot curved toward his shin, that piece splits in two to give Optimus's foot space. The dark star saber and star saber fight is the easiest clip to find this fun fact.

I bought this- basically fresh off him releasing proper and I'm SO SO glad I did. I had ThreeZero DLX AoE/TLK Prime in my crosshairs at around the same time, but I'm SUPER glad I went with this guy instead, because he looks SO good and it's SO fulfilling to have, especially having missed out on their previous attempt at him (which turned out to be a good thing), and I'm just SO so happy with him, besides that lack of detail at the back when you crunch him all the way forward and the springy ankle panels feeling a bit finicky and make me afraid to touch them, there's very little I have a problem with on him They even gave him the articulation in the arms to properly pose (well enough) with his arm cannons being oriented the way they are relative to his arms/hands

When I saw this on a thread, I was expecting it to be a still figure due to just how great he looks. I am very happy to be wrong and see that he is a very faithful recreation of Prime. While I understand that some people might be turned off at the sight of a non-transforming transformer, I am not those people and prefer my larger models to be non-transforming as it allows for the figure to just have an amazing silhouette that just looks awesome to pose and display. He is definitely getting bought up and added to my collection.
i own the tfp r.e.d optimus prime and i’ll say that this is what that figure should’ve been. my biggest issues on that figure are the shoulders and that the legs can’t kick up all the way. this figure is a beauty
I normally don't like non transforming TF figurer, but this is so beautiful. I would buy it now, if I had the money. TFP is my favorite cartoon and I hope I can get this Optimus and Megatron sometime in the future.
Unrelated: I really want a Legacy Leader Class Prime Universe Optimus Prime (S1-2 design), that is Voyager-scale, includes _both_ Ion Blasters, _both_ Energon Blades, and the Star Saber (& is super accurate in _both_ modes). I'd *_kill_* for it! And _most_ of the paint budget would go to the actual figure, and some of it would allow for the guns and swords to be silver (would be nice, but they don't necessarily need all the extra blue details), and the Star Saber would be painted silver and gold and maybe a tiny bit of blue. I think it'd be very doable. Also, this Optimus is actually really cool.

Beast Wars, Transformers Animated, and Transformers Prime are all the 🐐 and should be peoples first introduction to transformers for people who haven't seen transformers before.
He's amazing. Love the molded hand for the sword. Do wish it had one got the left hand tho. And I think a big blue blast effect for the sword would be very nice

This guy looks freaking insane. I might have to get it. I love Transformers Prime but all the good toya are all so expected that I'd much rather spend the money on this behemoth of a figure. I bought the Gamer Edition Optimus Prime because at least that's the same character, just a different design because i needed this version of Optimus on my shelf for a reasonable price, but this is incredible and very worth the price.
Hello, I'm someone interested in getting into figure collecting, and I was wondering if this figure is really just $2.00. Most of the pre-order figures on TF Safari are currently priced at $2.00, which made me wonder if pre-order figures are really that cheap or if I'll need to pay the full price later.
For a figure that good I can make due with it not transforming. I'll just get the official leader class and have him in truck mode and this as his robot representation.
