We have for you the full final in the women's free skate at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. First place went to South Korea's Kim Yu-NA with a superb score of 228.56 points. Second place went to Mao Asada from Japan with a score of 205.50 points. The podium was then completed with the Canadian athlete Joannie Rochette and 202.64 points. Enjoy! 🥇🥈🥉

Yuna Kim represents the end of a glorious era. Her speed, line and powerful edges cannot be achieved in this day in age because of the amount of energy skaters now waste on complex spins, footwork sequences, difficult jump entries and exits, and excessive choreography that oft times does not match the music, not to mention the 3axels and quads that have become common place. COP was already doing it's damage by 2010. Its unfortunate because this used to be such a beautiful sport. There will always be champions and stand outs, but when I compare the Olympic podiums pre and post Yuna, the difference is startling, and tragic.

We miss figure skating in those days that we will never see again. The moment yuna act according to the melody of the Gersheen is amazing as if you are dancing in the waves. I can't help but wipe my tears watching this😭

Even ordinary people who are not experts in figure skating often say that Yu-na Kim's skating is so natural and different from other skaters. All of Kim's movements are so natural that even professional experts praised her performance for making four minutes feel like seconds.
