      @@camiiiiii-said someone who never made a world record or even went to the Olympics. Everyone in this world has definitely experienced mental breakdown, you too probably. The only difference is that trusova's mental breakdown is being recorded (which to me, it should be unallowed, those moments are vulnerable and she just wants to be alone while the cameramen just straight keep recording her. You yourself definitely didn't want your mental breakdown to be recorded, aren't you?)

    • @sofi4495
      @sofi4495 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +62

      Well, eteri promised gold to trusova if she broke the record, since she is close to the president of the isu and the judges (you can tell they inflated scores and forgave some mistakes more than other competitors). That means she/they (eteri/russia) had already bought the podium. To my understanding Anna had a few connections to the judges aswell so that's why she was placed first instead of trusova, which is disgustingly unfair. They skate so beautifully that there is no need to cheat, just correcting their techniques would be enough

    You did really great, Ms. Alexandra Trusova! Please dont retire just yet. You had rewritten the skating history through your revolutionary quads. What was thought to be physically impossible; you have proven wrong and you raised the bar ever since. Girl! You defied the rules of the game in itself. I hope people see that and be grateful they have once in a lifetime encountered a gift as unique as yours. I want to see more of you when you hit the ice in the next years to come. Recover from this experience and come back stronger.

      She did well yes. Grade of execution from the start of jumps needs to be implemented. Lots of prerotation against the standards in some jumps. Not just her but the entire ROC team. That's with triples and quads. Now make the skating authorities change to 21st century doping tests. Hair samples. To use USA type daily syllabus submitted. To be sneak tested within every 90 days. Let's find out who's elusively cheating or state-funded cheating the system. Too revolutionary and out of balance with the world. = ROC.

    Shcherbakova, well done! A real fighter, but at the same time a fragile, delicate, elegant, expressive artist. Figure skating for me is primarily an art. While watching Anna skate you completely immerse yourself in this world, a mini spectacle, a real art. Her performance is a dance of the soul, a storm of emotions and charm, natural grace and charisma! Maybe not a jump into space. But in this short time you live a little life with her and feel happiness. Bravo! Worthy of gold 100%. Without unnecessary words, intrigues and hysteria, she just goes out and dances, flies, soars, wins!

She is too stubborn to listen to the people that choreograph her routine who keep telling her that she needs more feeling/movement with the chosen music in between quads and she refuses to do that. So until she does, she can land as many quads as she likes and she will never win against someone with a fully put together and seamless program like Anna and Kamila have. Especially Kamila, if she had just skated her average, the scores wouldn't have even been close, but then nobody would have got a medal either. And with all that pressure and how pointless it was for her to even skate, I was actually surprised that she didn't skate off after falling the first few times.

    One more mindblowing fact about this free skate:
    At 3:33:16 Alexandra Trusova's 4lz+3T combo got 19.90 total score...! 17.27 BV + 2.63 GOE, normally the BV of the combo is 15.70, BUT she freaking backloaded it into the second half of the program for that juicy 10% bonus omg LMAO
    The only other female skater to perform that combo was Anna during 2022 Euros and 2019 GP Final, but she never backloaded it, so her base value is lower.

      @@rshkns I don't understand the reasoning behind "doping doesn't help figure skaters." I don't wish to send this in a hateful way, I just genuinely don't understand. If the drugs can help with the skater's endurance and with keeping them small, delaying puberty, then it is an unfair advantage. And why else would the coaches have the girls take such a thing if there was no benefit? Please answer kindly, I'm just curious why so many people believe the drug bust is bogus.

      Kamila had so much controversy surrounding her. And everyone keeps forgetting that she’s only 15. Her coach should’ve protected her.
      No wonder she was so heartbroken and mortified in the kiss and cry booth. Reports stated that her coach screamed at her for “giving up” when she missed her jumps.
      I haven’t seen this much drama in skating since Harding and Kerrigan in 1994.
