- Bold and dynamic, Steven Reineke’s composition is full of the contemporary melodies, harmonies and rhythms which make his music so appealing. Very effective for concert or contest performances, “Sedona” contains a number of short solo passages, especially in the woodwinds. Highly Recommended!
Performed by the Washington Winds under the direction of Edward S. Petersen.

bassoon section scrambling to figure out what the word solo means
😂
the version recorded by my percussion teacher is better than the show recorded by the one by the school one
aw shoot, I'm the only bassoonist in my university but I'm learning clarinet this semester so I'm not on that solo (i accidentally took the only 1st clarinet part, so i get that solo instead 💀💀)
Almost 15 years later and 10 years after an instrument switch and I still remember this snare drum part from 10th grade
This year, in 2024 i have the honor to play the trombone solo for a competition and for our final concert in school ( : I love his peice so much
Sedona was played in my school band in 2001
when the schools band competition, there's also other school band play this song, the charms part played by the form2 girl
the snare drum part I still remember it
bass clarinet part for this is peak
Anyone else hear lots of influence from "Silverado"? Practically the same melody!
that's exactly what i was thinking!
"Influence" is a kind word for it honestly.
