Thank you CGB for the things you thought of, at the post-games wrap up outro. And it really felt like it was content just for us here on youtube. I think I speak for everyone when I say it makes me happy that you spend time to think about such details. You're a genuinely good guy, thanks for all the content!
The other player is lagging and they are on the play. That is why you don't see your hand. The game connects to a different server and presents the hand once both players have connected.
Thanks for showing me this deck. I really enjoy your sense of humor " That is the attack of a player with a shock!", " I think that I have been scallywaged! and OMG "Thank you RN Jesus THANK YOU!" I could not tell you were on twitch as well. do what you need to do!
It's very CGB of you to make it a combo deck instead of the usual mill. Regular mill is basically Burn for Blue mages anyway! ...Which is why i love it.
Could be the flag of the Interim Government of Iran (from CGB's perspective), or the flag of Hungary (from the opponents perspective). Or it is really the Italian (or Mexican) flag, but sideways Edit: either way, I was hecking disappointed that the opponent wasn't playing naya. Flavor Judge would rate this a no-no.

I almost never watch your twitch. I do often get a little exasperated with the thank yous from a stream uploaded to youtube, but if you paused between games to do your call-outs and edited that out, that's better than we deserve
It was a treat to watch you make the TH-cam content while streaming, but you follow whatever path makes the content you want to see. We will support you, it's worked so far.
I agree with your standards for a TH-cam presentation as opposed to a twitch presentation, they have totally different styles. When I watch TH-cam I don’t want to see subs etc., or interaction with others in chat coming in. I had no idea this was recorded during a twitch session so credit to you and have no problems with it all. Also it was a great fun deck too. Keep it up CGB, it’s all good.
Making an agent player rage quit: you mister, are a cool man, a hero even. It doesn't have the taste of a mill deck though. Opponents quit when too much creatures are put on the board and aren't milled
Thanks for taking the time to make youtube specific content for us :) a lot of creators just spit out twitch content and don’t realize that it’s so much nicer watching an interactive gameplay without the random twitch nonsense and distractions.
CGB doesn’t usually stream his TH-cam videos. He produces them separately. That’s why I enjoy watching him. I dislike it too when streamers just port streams to TH-cam and are constantly interacting with a conversation that we don’t get to be a real part of.
I also could not tell this was streamed (bravo!), but do care about watching a distracted streamer roping his opponent to tell unrelated stories to chat. There are dozens of channels on youtube I don't watch for that reason.
As someone from New Zealand I am never able to catch anyone's streams so I am used to watching stream footage on YT. That being said, this video felt like a specially made YT video, and was entertaining as usual! Thanks for the great content CGB!
CGB: "Jank week takes a lot more time put into the videos to get compelling gameplay that is really worth sharing." Mono Black Magic(big brain voice): "Am I a joke to you?" Ya'll need a rematch. Cool deck btw.
I obviously don't speak for everyone, but I watch a lot of speedrunners of games playing for 8+ hour speedruns and randomizers, During which I love listening to the commentary of them and their chat back and forth. That being said, I also very much enjoy your analytical breakdowns of everything going on in game. I wouldn't want you to sacrifice that completely to be interactive with chat, but even then I don't think you completely would do so. TBH tho, lets be real, I'd still be watching your vids no matter what.
That last game top deck into win was beautiful. Also I think this twitch and TH-cam overlap is a good idea every once in awhile for these combo decks. Think you're doing great with balancing your audiences and further think your audience on twitch and YT is willing to work with you a bit especially for quality content like this!
12:15 can't you manually order the triggers so that yorion's end step return comes back before thassa's trigger, allowing you to target the mindbreaker with thassa?
Gonna be completely honest, when I first saw the “mill” title in the video I was feeling pretty meh. But listening to you explain the deck I got so damn excited. I haven’t even watched you play it yet at the time of writing this and already want to build this lol. Good job mate 👌
Great video and I couldn't tell it was streamed on Twitch! You may have actually may have hit the holy grail for MTG content creation, as I agree it's not as nice to watch Twitch reruns on TH-cam when chat is involved. However doing it this way, Twitch viewers get to see your content first and as a TH-cam viewer, I don't feel that I somehow missed out. Also, having Patreons have a say in deck selection is a great incentive to support you that way as well. Well done!
I don't mind the talking to a twitch audience, when you are explaining your plays or talking about the brewing. Depending on the subject I don't mind off-topic subjects. I enjoy listening to Day9 talk about AI and programming. I don't care for the thanks for subscription type stuff so I get your point. As for the Mutate deck, I tend to play a lot of that so I don't care if other people play them. The only cool thing that I haven't seen other people do is play either Kaya's ghost form or Teferi's time twist on a mutated creature. It was glorious, I had Kaya on a mutated creature and my opponent spent their turn and two burn spells to turn one of my creatures into 3. The conceded the game after that error. Or there was another game and they try to board wipe so I time twisted myself a victory. Anywho those were some fun games to watch.
It's a very CGB-type of jank deck ^^" It's basically a meta Gyruda mill deck with a few copies of Sphinx Mindbreaker for the fun that didn't hit the battlefield once in the video >.
Question, since Thassa triggers at the beginning of the end step, and Yorion returns stuff at the begining of the end step, couldn't you stack the Yorion trigger first and then flicker it again with Thassa? Want to try this on arena but it's very late and I don't want to forget lol
32:00 When I first joined the Magic community I was very surprised by how welcoming and kind everyone was, but as the years went by I started to realize that this community is filled with more dickheads than not. I think may people in this community are somewhat of social outcasts and or rejects outside of their gaming circle, and there's a lot of frustration that seeps into their behavior at the Magic table. Assuming the orientation is the same as the other flag-sleeves, it's Italy. Hungary has orizontal stripes, that would be vertical on the sleeve and Italy the opposite
It does bug me when I see a video that is clearly ported from Twitch. Honestly I see the lack of ported content as one of the greatest features of this channel; there are some channels out there with great, entertaining players that I just struggle to enjoy at all because they're mostly Twitch content. I just can't handle listening to the one-sided conversations, maybe it's just me.
I'm fine with it if the Twitch interactions are cut out, like what CGB did here. But as a matter of duplicate content, it could cut down on views. I saw part of yesterday's video on Twitch, and didn't watch it again; today's, I hadn't seen yet.
Recording live, might add in something you can trigger at the beginning of it that says "This hot jank is filmed before a live stream audience." or something like that.
if ya need to record while streaming because of time, as long as it satisfies both audiences, then by all means! its great content and i couldnt tell the difference. keep up the amazing stuff!
Thanks for the vid. I very rarely go on Twitch. It's just easier to have 1 video site to log into. I got a sick non-meta deck if you ever take suggestions.
This might be the most fun deck I've seen you play. It is a shame that it is probably too slow for the current meta. By the way, where did you get the "they play mono red" song? I really love it. I can't get it out of my head.

I really like your perspective on Twitch VOD vs actual TH-cam video at the end. I think your way of doing things is great! Couldn't even tell. :)

Super appreciative of your content creation philosophy. It really shows in the quality of your videos.
oh man, this deck looks like so much fun. I watched both Twitch and the whole video. Then sent it to a buddy cause I know he'll build it right away.
Highly appreciate what you are doing! And thanks a lot for this video (didn’t realize it was from twitch until you said about it)

Great philosophy about youtube content. Thank you for your dedicated work.
I run Mothra in my normal Gyruda deck mainly for a similar combo where I legend rule gyrudas for extra triggers; have had a few mill wins
