Man. That's still a tree. I can't even kick a box that same exact way while not hurting my shins. Let alone a banana tree's trunk. That stuff's still hard.
You rarely see them because they’d get thrown around and mauled in bantam or light weight in the ufc. Muay Thai stance doesn’t translate at all to someone who is high level grappler/wrestler. I would love to see Muay Thai’s best lightweight fight A dog like Justin Gaethje though.
My dumb ass as a kid use to kick regular trees after hearing mauy thai fighters kick trees to condition their shines. Later found out they kicked banana trees. Smh
Back when I first started muay thai I had a telephone pole that id staple a few layers of cardboard to to kick, eventually got to where i only had one layer of cardboard over the pole, and that was only to keep the rough wood from tearing the skin off my shins. Iron bone training is legit.
Most Thai boxers start fighting at the age of 7, which is why their kicking is so effective. Because Thai boxers' shins are injured from a young age, with their shin bones often fractured and finely textured in the shin area, when they kick their opponents, Thai boxers don't feel much pain.
what do you Mean when you say "your brother remember" it feels like an incomplete sentence Like you started a thought and then didn't finish and expect everyone to "remember"?
The trick is there is no trick you gotta condition your shins but also in order to do this the target has to be bouncy or hollow otherwise your bone can snap if you hit a pole that doesnt move at all
Yes the ball of your foot will never get conditioned. This guy is just showing the right muay thai roundhouse technique, never use the ball of your foot, only the shins, which you can condition to be hard as steel.
