I swear you and Lanny make the best content for premodern, amazing commentary and very tight gameplay. Thank you so much for all you do for the community
@@WatchThatFast He talked about this multiple times. It was his very first ever event and he just played very sloppily. You are missing out by not watching him, and he is a treasure to the Premodern community.
@@fpawluszmtg I find both versions to be almost equally good, each one with its upsides as you said. Want to be more proactive: go UW. Want a better manabase and gush shenanigans, go Mono U. Different playstyle, similar ceiling for both decks
Please, what do you think about daze + foil on a monoblue on premodern instead of counterspell + foil? I am thinking of using this on a Opposition + Static orb deck on premodern.
I'm looking to build 2 pre-modern decks to play against each other, one being this archetype. What do you think is a classic match up for UW Stiflenought?
Stiflenought vs Goblins is very interesting, and so is the matchup against decks like MUD, Terrageddon and things like that. Sequencing, finding your spot, threat assessment are all things that come into play and matter a ton
I personally think so. If you look at the matches I lost, had I been playing Mono U I'd have lost them all just the same, if not even worse. And the match against Devourer was won on the back of Meddling Mage and Disenchant.
I think they were playing around Stifle, and they overvalued getting a trigger to put Siege Gang in play. I think they kind of outplayed themselves a little by doing so and gave me a window they didn't need to.
The premodern style format (aka no new cards added) is clearly the future of magic
It is the only way I want to engage with the game, at least. I will never spend a cent on cards without that OG frame, I can promise you that much!

I saw Lanny was cheating in paper mtg and I stopped watching him.
@@WatchThatFast oh for reals? when did that happen?
Thank you for the kind words! Glad you are enjoying the content!

@@fpawluszmtg Maybe you're right, but I think that someone who plays at his level doesn't make such a mistakes as he made in New York.
Первыйнах. Thank you for the video. The St. Petersburg premodern community eagerly awaits each of your videos.
That's awesome to hear! Hope you enjoy it!
I am in love with this deck.
Me too
Meditate+ wire is sick lol . Good idea
I know, right!? Such a neat little combo!
Thanks for the work. Amazing content for us shrimp players. However, after playing both versions a lot, I will keep playing Mono u :)
Mono U has some definite upsides, as I stated in the guide. It's not my preferred way of playing, but totally get why folks like it!

Foil works very nicely with Daze, and Daze works nicely with Static Orb/Winter Orb. Regardless, you'd need to play Gush if you want Foil.
Thanks bro!
I appreciate you watching!
@@fpawluszmtg You have great deck choices!
@@WatchThatFast I try my best!
Let's up the visibility guys lol
So great. Auto like
Thanks for supporting!

Man, do you think that this one is realy better than the mono blue version? Honest question.
I personally think so. If you look at the matches I lost, had I been playing Mono U I'd have lost them all just the same, if not even worse. And the match against Devourer was won on the back of Meddling Mage and Disenchant.
Why wouldn’t you port on their upkeep. 😔

Sometimes that do be a thing

Premodern Online Series, the POS? Not a great acronym
For real!? That's hilarious! I think it's actually a great acronym and would totally lean on it xD
