I loved the Island. Cannot wait to return. I would like to go fishing. If you have any contacts I would appreciate it. I am not a rich American tourist. I just want to go out with locals, not some expensive charter boat.
My man Philly. One day we should hook up and meet in a spot. I just hit the big 2,000 today. Join me brother. You are takinng off. I still have never done a live broadcast. Do your thing bro.
I like Carlton's videos, because I get a sense of realism on the videos. You feel like you are there. Also Carlton also talks straightforward, doesn't hold back, tells like it is.
San Andres is going through a mini crisis in the cocaine trade. Hence the added security, remember San Andres is on the way north to the world's largest consumer, the USA. Many narco boats leave from San Andres.
Hey Hey Carlton . I have older Afro Colombian friends living on San Andre's . They all speak English . I have plans to go there maybe later 2020. Everything there is expensive. The Island has beautiful beaches.
Wzup Jay. Nice that you already have friend on the Island. Real cool. Let them know about my channel. I would like to get to know some locals and go back and fish.
nothing is going to be cheap at a resort island...only the rich colombians go there....I saw on another video they have incredible lobster there as well....I plan on going in july 2021....damn covid
Good video...the reason for the extra security/searches is because San Andreas is a major drug transhipment point. If you look at the map...San Andreas is not close to Colombia...it is actually just off the coast of Nicaragua. The islands have an interesting history.
Great video!!! How was your experience with viva? I am going to Medellin next month and I have already bought tickets for my chica and I to go to San Andres from medellin. I seen a lot of bad reviews about them but I still went forward with the tickets. And also where inside the airport do you purchase the travel card needed to go to San Andres? Thanks!
Wzup. I think it changes over time. About a year ago my buddy told me he had to go to the ticket booth first then they sent him somewhere else to get the pass. When I went a few months ago they sold me the pass right there at the ticket booth where you check in. I did not have to go anywhere else.
Well, it's an outside airport. You KNOW that's not how it is in the states. I'm guessing it's that way probably because they dont have the type of security that's of "normal" regulations......if that makes sense. Then....columbia, you already know.
Carlton's Travel Adventures. It's an affirmation. Pablo Escobar and the Galeano used the island, to send their shipments, which left Turbo and Necocli in Antioquia
When I went there it was very nice I recommend people going there
Nice video I'm from San andres I live in Florida Tampa and it's great to see Americans visiting our island..

Good job, life is about new adventures
Thank you
Caribbean vibe, cool!
Good job on the video. I’ve been waiting on this series of videos. I’ve been procrastinating on taking that trip
Wzup Bart. Had a great trip even in the rain. You have to go check it out. Definately going back.

OK. Thanks but I did not think they take the planes. Not very smart. Boats are better.
Aye...... you're at the mercy of the market and tourist rate. I'm sure everything has to be flown in, well except for the fish. LOL
Was up bro you were right Colombia is great. I met you at the airport and took a picture of you. Keep it up have fun see you again some time.
Wzup Frank. I remember you brother. Nice meeting you. Stay tuned for lots of adventures. Just getting started. Thanks.

Awesome video truly informative
I want to go to San Andrés. I am going to check out the price with Viva. I think they may be cheaper than Avianca. Great video Carlton!
Wzup folabond. Def worth the trip. When I checked the ticket (Viva) it was actually $98 r/t. Believe I said $103 in my video.

I figured it had to be drugs. Thanks.

San Andreas is different than Colombia, is like another country
just like the Caribbean!! Really cool place
Agreed. really cool place. I see ton of real estate on the beach which is undeveloped. I need to check into the prices.
They check for Drugs, they do it a lot when entering is like at a Miami Air port same crop they search you all through..
They hit my boy Carlton extra charge witha state tax
Everyone pays the tourist tax, including mainland Colombians.
I have Afro Colombian friends there they never told me that. Maybe they don't have to pay since they are Island residents.
Yes... island residents don't pay.
Where in medellin airport do you purchase the tourist card needed to enter san andres?

Sir do you know why binky barbeque moved???
Wzup Gregg. Really cannot get into it. Personal. He has a lot of medical issues. Thanks
Thanks for the update really appreciate it. Well sorry to hear that news but glad it had nothing to do with the business or area.

Colombia* not Columbia bro
Hey brother, how are the women down there? I know it's not Cartagena but is there girls to party and have fun with?
Plenty.
@@CarltonsTravelAdventures By any chance do you know the curfew in the weekends right now for san andres?
San Andrés Fue una de las primeras rutas que utilizaron los narcotraficantes de segunda generación., por su cercanía a Centroamérica.
no se. gracias. mucho security
