Internet is excellent in Colombia. No different from the USA. Never had an issue with it going out. Really no difference being a trader in the US vs Colombia. I do 90% of my trades from my cell on MT4. You can have a few small issues with the cell but I deal with them . I just cannot sit at the laptop or hours. Although I know guys who do it. I have been doing FOREX seriously for only 6 months. I will do a video after the first year. I am getting more and more consistent every day.
It was normal to have losses the first few months as I learned. Blew 2 accounts. Over the last few months it has been good. Normal experience. Now taking less risk. I do not use stop losses bc I got stopped out too much. Also stop taking 2 and 3 other deals in the same direction if the first goes against me. Normal. Blew my account when I ended up with 5 in the same direction. Another thing which helped is having 2 separate accounts for gold. Cannot trade gold or indices in the same account.
Trading currencies will always leave you in the negative. It doesn't matter whether you stop losses or not. Simply because there's always pressure on the other side of your trade. So when trading currencies make sure you're covered with an commodity option hedging against your Curren$y position. If not it will always go against you the best case scenario is that you will make a tiny bit of profit but the usual scenario is you will end up with mostly losses and the games you do gain or nowhere near worth the risk that you put your money under for that tiny game there's absolutely no sense around it and less you use the proper strategy
Best advise if the go to youtube and look at a bunch of videos first. Learn as much as possible. Then open a demo account at one of the firms and practice for about 4 months. Not kidding. Just add $5,000 to the demo account and practice for months before you use real money. Do not be in a rush. It is risky. As far a teaching I had to stop due to the travelling for youtube. You have to be committed to certain hours. Just could not commit. You can definitely make over $1,000 a month teaching if you need the money.
Well I dabbled in FOREX a few years ago when I was working but did not have the time to really commit. Now that I am retired I have the time so I got back into it about 6 months ago. Been learning a lot. It can get addictive. If you are not careful you can spend hours at the computer or cell watching the movements.
