But money will never be able to purchase anything in heaven. Guess' Pride 'will never be there, as that is a sin to have pride. So was this clean money or dirty/blood money that was used to buy all his “interests”? It makes a difference, as I don’t begrudge anyone with well-earned money, but if accumulated by the blood/filthy sweat of suffering souls, then it’s a whole different animal.
On another note, the thoughts of what could be done for folks in need, with that kind of funding, overwhelms the mind with possibilities.

iska vevo : It’s not hate. It’s incredulity at spending over a billion dollars on a couple of things you’ll rarely use. When you’ve earned that kind of money through hard work, then do what you wish, no one begrudges you. But $500 million for a yacht?! $300 million for a home? $300 million?! I think people just can’t quite fathom that kind of money for something temporary or rarely used.
Think how many artisans, carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, etc. were employed for this one project, how many mortgages were paid, how many children were fed, how many educations were financed, etc. They too were "folks in need," and are people working diligently to improve themselves. Not merely giving money to some homeless shelter or drug rehab clinic.
It's probably oil money. Anyone who puts gas in his car helps this guy in some way.

@Archytas Repentus I don't think people understand how electricity is powered, what is needed to generate power, oil isn't going anywhere lol The new electric cars being produced is just a drop in the bucket and will remain that way for decades to come.
@Archytas Repentus Ok, I agree that EV will shift the market eventually, however, I think people think that means oil will take a backseat or be extinct. Think of it like this, EV's need to recharge right? So let's take charging stations for instance, how are they powered? That would be the electric grind and powers the electric grid? Now keep in mind that oil is big business, who's to say they won't raise the prices which will effect the ev manufacturers or recharging stations ultimately affecting the consumer in order to retain the high level of profits that they could potentially stand to lose due to the arrival of electric cars? So my point is, in business, once you become a monopoly or force no matter what you almost can't lose kinda like the bank.
The only way the bank will forever be exinct is if everyone only accepts crypto as a currency and refuses to deal with anything but digital currency that's what I would equate people saying EV will erase the oil market to not to mention oil is also used for a wide range of things plus powers the majority of pretty much every countries power/energy.
