- Today on Hammerdown Motorsports we received our new custom 1.5 inch wheel spacers to get the stance right on the 2019 Ram. In this video I show how the spacers fit and what I needed to do to install them and well some of the issues I ran into, plus we go for a test drive and see if they are vibration free. Enjoy....

Just a ride bit of knowledge for those of you interested in spacers. Ram stock wheels have pockets in between lug holes. So if you use stock wheels and spacers you don't need to trim lugs. If your wheels are aftermarket chances are they don't have these pockets and therefore will need to trim lugs with 1.5" spacers. If you have 2" spacers you will be fine either way. Speaking from experience.

Man it looks so much better! One thing I don't understand is how the wheel wasn't aligned with the back in the first place! I got 12 wides front and back and they have the same amount of poke hmmm... Took the truck out today off roading with the lift kit and found out that the driveshaft scrapes against the mid skid plate at big articulation angles. Wonder if it would be the same with your lift?
Snowcat_srt yeah I’m not sure why the stance was the way it is all the wheels are the same I would have to check on my drive shaft you would think on the lid I would see it if it’s in full droop I’ll check next time I have it on the lift

When they give the 2 torque settings I was told the first is the initial torque.. Then the 2nd is what you are supposed to torque after the first adjustment... Is this correct? Or no?

Question. I heard if you use spacers that they can cause premature wear to front suspension parts. Your thoughts? By the way a new subscriber here! :-)
hey welcome to the channel, spacers can cause premature wear on wheel bearings and ball joints if they are out far enough but you will find a negative offset will do similar things, with a 1.5 inch spacer the impact is minimal and the upper control arm I changed over to with my SST Readylift has a bigger ball joint than stock so I have no real worries about the way mine is set up

@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA I just bought a 2020 Ram and was looking at a -12 or -18 offset. Are you saying that the front will sit farther in than the rear? If this is the case then I need to look at purchasing 2 rims for the front at a different offset than my rears. Thoughts?

I dont understand, does your rear have spacers? If not why would the front wheel be further in than the rear cuz my 19 Sport are equal in stance.
Btw a heat gun works wonders sometimes to push some of that plastic inwards. Its what i used to clear my 22x10s with 33s

Can you tell me what your offset is on your rims and what lugs nuts you used to replace the factory ones? I have the same truck and just got 18 by 9 with +1 offset but just seen that someone said they rub the brake caliper.

Thank you I went with a 3.5 SST ready lift which is basically a spacer kit with upper control arms I am thinking of changing to a full lift kit now though
@Steven Skoczen yeah the sst was stop much stretch I have a rough country 6 inch in it now angles are much better
@Steven Skoczen the SST is not made for the Rebel cause of the 1 inch factory lift that said if you just want lift on a non Rebel it should be fine but not for off-road since the cv angles are a bit steep, thank you for subscribing
How is your A/C ? My 2019 A/C only gets down to like 60degrees right out of the vent

Nice ! I got the nitto grappler hybrid . And if I go to a 12.50 they are saying my load rating will go up to a F. Idk if it’s worth the swap. The stance will look better but they said it will sacrifice comfort . Idk if I can believe that thought .

What size spacers are these? I'm looking to get spacers for stock /19 6-lug Rebel wheels/tires. Dont really want to grind down the stock lugs though.
Also I've seen a lot of hub-centric spacers say to use loctite - but then to re-torque after x amount of miles... Wont that break the loctite? I feel like if you use loctite and torque properly it's good!
Rhythm House Drums they are from us wheel adapters you will have to go thicker than 1.5 inch to avoid trimming the end of the studs but then they will rub more on the wheel wells

Did you know that Discount Tire will not put a tire on a vehicle that has spacers?
TexasScout Noneofyourbusiness cheap spacers can be a problem but CJ tire wouldn’t patch a tire I previously plugged so I just took it down the street problem solved
Hammerdown Motorsports Yeah, they (Discount Tire) did that to me also. I put in the wrong type of plug and they wouldn’t patch it, even though the plug was les than 24 hrs old.

@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA Yeah I found it. It's funny because i compared my front to my rear on my 2020 1500 offroad ram and it looks to me like the rears dont sit as flush as the fronts, i wonder if they made changes between the yrs?
