This is fabulous! I think this meets exactly what I want to do with my 2016 White Rebel! Great video and content! Quick question, how have you found the length of time the lights stay charged since they are solar? Do they last a while in night driving?
Tim Garrison they are good for 12-14 hrs on one charge so should have no issues thanks for watching

@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA That's a good amount of time. plus if u just forget and left them on overnight. they will recharge the next day and no drain on your battery. Awesome idea.

I’m definitely looking into these. I did aftermarket clearance lights on a previous truck of mine, and had nothing but water leak issues after.

They look clean with a clean install. I’d love to see how they look at night. But they sure are pretty pricey too.

I got these. They are aweful as of rn. I have let them charge for 5 days without turning them on and they still don’t hold charge. I am sending them back to the company for new ones. I have the smoked lense on them. I heard it could make charging difficult due to less light.
EDIT: It has everything to do with your lens choice, the smoked lens doesn’t allow enough light to get in to charge, my lights would charge and turn on during the day but at night they wouldn’t turn on bc they didn’t charge enough. I took mine out and let them charge in my dash and they work great now, highly recommended. if you order the smoked lens you’ll have to take them out and set them in the sun then put them back in once they charge, therefore i recommend the clear or amber lens.

Watching your videos have really been inspiring to get my butt moving on getting my Rebel up to par... I am wondering if you have the video or will be posting your rip down and install of the front door LED's and if the run was similar to the rear doors... Doing mine soon and not sure if I missed it anywhere?
Looks awesome! I like the equal spacing across the roof- question- How many inches up from the windshield is the edge of your center light?- and did you use the same distance for each light? --or do a uniform straight line with all lights using the tape measure?--tks,
strobe mode is nice if you got a Plow on your truck ... just put the amber lens on and ya got AMBER strobes ... get a 2nd kit and put a set facing backwards on the back of the cab roof
I agree with the smoked lens. The amber is a little to plain, IMO.
Only downside is lack of sun to charge. I live in Erie, PA. The dark gray winters won’t charge the lights. I had to hook up an ancillary light to charge them at night in my garage.
Have you considered doing fender flares or a sports bar? I think it'll look pretty nice

Did u measure off the windshield and follow the curve of the windshield or go straight across. It’s a great look!!!! Might have to be the next mod on my rebel!!!!

Great install info. I like the NO DRILLING concept. Two questions. Don't know if you can answer or if a manufacturer questions. Where as the marker lights are solar. How well do they charge? I.e. has to be a direct sunny day? Second. What's the expected battery life? 1 year? Bonus question. Are battery replacements available?

Do they go back to the original setting after you turn them off and back on do they go to what you had set or do you have to go through all three every time you turn them on
I am looking to do the same on my blacked out truck. How have these held up? I saw a different version that come on with darkness and slight vibration, but no strobe or bright or dim. a trade off :)

OMG YOUR TRUCK LOOKS SICK LOL i love it GEEZ i get happy just looking at it. so i have a 2017 ram 1500 laramie i love the truck and it looks so nice but its chromed out like the laramies with chrome bumpers and grille. and rims. I was wondering if you know where i can get a rebel like complete bumper so i can also put in the rebel grille. i think the black rebel grille wont look all that good with chrome bumper. also what is the hight of the rebel from and back? im thinking on lifting my to rebel standards but i dont know what that is. can you or anyone please help?

I've looked into those lights a few times... just could never pull the trigger
One issue that you don't have a feedback on what mode are the lights currently on unless you wana stick a mirror . I bought mine for 25$ and they are hard wired. Installing was a breeze to me at least under 2 hours. Btw, I got a 2014 Ram 1500.

thanks, you would have to check online and see if amber clearance lights are required by law or inspection in your state, I see people running different colors here too but if a cop wanted to they could pull you over in PA

Looks as though you only get one set of lenses now not all 3 for $400. Was wondering where the gold dust is located inside of them
PLEASE HELP......i bought this set for my Ram Longhorn Laramie. Everything was fine out of the box. Now nothing will turn on. They stopped working right before i put them on my truck......do they need to solar charge first...? Fabs are good. Just cant get lights to come on. Any ideas would be a big help. Thank you
Well, it is obvious the manufacturer took into account the time to install versus the drilling of holes in the cab and added the difference in time to their product cost which actually is worth less than a quarter of the price they are asking for. That's being generous. Almost fell off my chair when I saw the price. Looks great I admit but not for that amount of money. The manufacturer wants to make a killing in profit it seems. If they brought the price down to a more reasonable level they would sell a lot more and actually gain more profit at less margin.
exactly..i was even saying maybe 200 i would have bought them but id be surprised if the cost for everything is even 40 bucks.
Is your blacked out third break light after market or is stock and you just tinted it?

my center one is 2 inches from the edge of the glass and the others are closer since I made them somewhat straight but you can use your own judgement on where you want them

Another great video, great no drill concept but there should be other means to control by switch,. In addition, the ability for them to go out of sync and remove covers to fix is another let down. This product needs some refinements especially for the price.
You can save some money if you drill the 15 holes yourself. But to hire it done will cost even more. But mostly i just dont want holes in my roof. And when i trade they will come with me to my next rig. Good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good.

I really like the idea of Cab over America wireless lights but I’ve heard a lot of bad things about them, plus I’d hate to have to turn them on separately every time I start my truck. It would be cool if they came on automatically when you started the truck!
I’ll just have my dealer hardwire in some OEM cab lights!
I just bought a new F250 and the dealer wouldn't touch it when it came to installing some.
A lot of dealers won’t install them on trucks that don’t come with them from the factory for warranty issues. If they were to leak and damage the headliner or other interior pieces the manufacturer isn’t going to cover it. In some cases permanent modifications like traditional cab lights may even void a factory warranty. I work at a GM dealership in the parts Department and we just had to turn down a customer who wanted to put cab lights on a brand new High Country 3/4 ton. Neither our service or body shop would touch it for fear of voiding the customers warranty.
