Great video, showed me exactly what I needed to know. Would be awesome if you could time stamp all of the effects to make finding them easier because its a big video. Thanks for posting! :)
awesome in depth video! its great to see more demos of this pedal. since its a really old pedal most of the reviews of it on TH-cam are ancient. great to see more of them being used
Great demo! Very helpful to show the range of effects offered on it. It gets a lot of crap in the written reviews but I found this to be very fair and clear. They’re dirt cheap these days and even though they take up a larger footprint and use an unusual power supply, they still make some great tones! Happy to score one for $125 shipped. Very useful tones
I got the same one a few years ago (this is the old logo one, from around 00s) and I thought I would not get a good demo from the pedal due to being so old haha. Thanks for this video!
I still have this on my board. There are no doubt better options now in terms of sound quality but this more than does the job. In a live setting I'm pretty sure people won't be paying that much attention to the intricacies of my chorus tone. I would need multiple pedals if I wanted to replace it and as you say it is easy to dial in, especially if you want to just try something out for a song or two or fancy a change. I did get a mini expression pedal (well knob) so you can dial in two settings for each preset and then blend between. I would recommend that...it gives a lot more versatility...essentially I have a subtle and more extreme version of each effect that I can turn up or down as needed. But really thorough and awesome demo. Thanks
What’s chorus pedal would you choose if you were going to join an 70s 80s Rock cover band? Mike Campbell from The Heartbreakers uses the MM4 for Leslie, Flange Chorus and Trem
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. I'd have to say if you're just looking for chorus on bass I'd suggest finding a single effect pedal over using this. The MM4 could definitely could get you a nice chorus sound, but I think you'd be happier with something that was made for that specific sound. I also think you might be right and this pedal would sound a bit thin for a bass.
Thank you! I would recommend it. I am seriously considering putting it back on my board in place of my Strymon Mobius. The Mobius is awesome, but it really has too many options. I just don't use those sounds enough to need all of those options.
@@FreeRansom101 once you dial in a sound, select which foot switch you'd like to save that sound to. Press and hold that foot switch until the light notifies you that you've saved that sound. Then each time you press the foot switch without holding it will recall those settings you saved.
@@Threevanhopper I've been running M9's for years. Love them. The foot switches can be dicey though. I think I'm on my 3rd one now, but love it for Delays, verbs and modulation. A mainstay on my boards

Superb demo bud well done. I just ordered this unit for £117 from Japan so thanks for that.

That's awesome! Glad the video was helpful for you! 🤘
I couldn't agree more with you conclusion!

Awesome job. Very thorough.
I might recommend this pedal for myself or a friend! Thanks again
great demo I have been looking into this pedal as on another social media site, this make of pedal was used on Prince's 2012 effects board
Great video, great depth and demo. Thanks

I just order one. I like how simple and to the point it is. It's also a great value.
Great video 👍🏽
The Modeler 4 series are amazing legacy, I enjoy them in HX Stomp.

I haven't tried them out, but if I needed one for your scenario I'd like to try the Boss Waza Craft CE-2W or the DC-2W
Amazing in depth review
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video ! Where do you place the mm4 within your signal chain?
Thank you! I would use the MM4 near the end before reverbs and delays. Or in the effects loop.
Cool video, dude. Would this pedal be suited for bass or does it thin out the sound too much? Looking at it mainly for chorus.

Awesome review! So what is your overall view on the pedal? Do you like it and would you recommend it?

prob the best in depth demo for this thanks for posting! You think you could do the fm4 or dl4??
Thanks! Glad you liked it. I unfortunately don't have the FM4 or DL4, but I do have the DM4 and was planning on doing a video for that pedal.

I feel your voice very nice !

Can use simmultaneously two fxs?
Unless you mod it, no. It can only use one effect at a time.
Can we play the mod sound with another mod sound at the same time?
Unfortunately, no. Just one sound at a time. But Line 6 has a pedal called the M9 which can do stacked sounds.
@@Threevanhopper too bad, i was hoping that this pedal can play more effect sound in one time, by the way thanks for the information brother, cheers !
