Really helpful for me to learn the ins and outs of Zwift racing. I have no friends who race, so its nice to be able to hear some insights. Thanks. Really enjoyed this!
Awesome to hear! Thank you for sharing and glad it helped. You should look into joining a race team to find some like minded friends - it’s much more fun that way and really helps you learn and develop. I run a team called SNOW with over 50 members if you need one! Thanks for the support! 👊👍
This content helped me a lot, gotta a question: ¿whats the average time or distance to start the sprint in most of the races? i am guessing the last 1 km i have to put some extra effort but in the 500 mts i have to go full gas... am i correcto?
Cheers bud, really appreciate it. Least someone enjoys it and it's not just comments saying how shit it is like usual 🤣 I only use a HRM when I have to but a few people have said same so I will start wearing one full-time for the vids 👍
@@jakesandersonsnowmancycling you have a good narration style. Very fluid and relative to the thought process. Cycling is all data, so yeah suck it up and do the HR for us. And do the Sauce too - we wanna see how or if it applies. Keep racing! And we are waiting for the FTP ramp test 👍🏼
@@uknowbass legend. Cheers mate. Really appreciate the support. Will do, hoping to get the ramp test sorted this week with hr and all! Hope you have a great New Years pal 👍👊
Fantastic real world Zwift tips for winning. BTW you've probably been asked a million times already --but why no HR data? I would think you'd be on Zwiftpower
Thanks for the feedback! I had HRM problems that day annoyingly, but in all my other youtube race win videos on the channel I am wearing a HRM and wear one for all required races available on ZwiftPower like ZRL, along with dual recording and weigh in video, Strava KOMs, etc -; zwiftpower.com/profile.php?z=894382
Not an A, so useless advice. Everyone can win, even sofa potatoes, if "racing" against people as bad as themselves. How to win a "race" on zwift ? Just be lucky enough to be at the higher range of your (random) category, and have a good sprint. No need to be strong or smart, just to be lucky. Because yes, being a sprinter is mainly genetics (so random), and having a 3.99w/kg FTP (highest for being a B) is not better than having 4.2w/kg, of course. But with 4.2w/kg no chance to win anything, because unluckily categories in zwift favorize 3.99w/kg. Nothing to brag about.
I’ve won plenty of races against A riders in mixed cat as a B, doing C power - it sounds like you are bitter you are not a very good racer and don’t understand tactics. If you are not a sprinter you can still win many races on Zwift. I have also been an A rider. I am not sure what your point is other than to complain because you are not a very good racer. Nevermind, maybe try a new hobby like knitting, or not being an idiot criticising free content people put together to help others. I dont see your video anywhere that has better tips? Nobody cares what you think 🤷♀️
@@jakesandersonsnowmancycling: I'm an A, it's easy to belong this category as a previous elite in Belgium. Doesn't justify making videos like any noob doing cycling during 6 months and thinking they're experts. And as a A, I've never seen any B holding the pace, be it in races or big rides. Probably you won vs A in an handicap race lol, like 40 B going 2 minutes before 15 A', in which many A just draft and don't pull (yes, I did this kind of race once, and even belong A's there are stupid people who don't understand the concept of chasing races : doing team TT, and not playing "smart" ; normal races are here for that).

Love it mate, good to hear the strats start to finish. Dread to think what my spontaneous celebration would be, probably a few dabs!
Really enjoyed this race analysis pal. Looking forward to the next!

Your commentary style is gold, Amigo. Sucks being 25 kg heavier than you 😂. Also, need your heart rate on the vids
