I haven’t collected comic books in like over 20 years and I like watching this and other collecting things shows. I have no interest in collecting anything anymore. I want to sell almost all the stuff I have, but it’s fun to watch.
I have been binge watching all of your new and old videos over the last couple of weeks during work and it has been so great!! Keep up the great work, Mike! You have already taught me so much about older comics! Keep on inspiring the community!
That Captain Midnight #15 is from here in Australia, it's a pre-decimal issue (we shifted from pounds/shillings/pence to dollars/cents on 14 Feb. 1966); published by Cleland, a company that did a lot of Fawcett reprints. The cover is the same newsprint as the story pages rather than the glossy paper used in the US, and it may well have b/w interiors. LB Cole was an amazing artist whose work was so different to his peers in comics at the time. Marie Severin: what a fantastic artist and colourist, from colouring the war books at EC through her wonderful caricatures for Marvel's Not Brand Ecch to drawing Fraggle Rock and Muppet Babies for Marvel's Star Comics.
I picked up that X-Men 43 that you see at 7:53 from Matt at the Brimfield North market this past weekend. Great seller and awesome conversations. Even gave my son some wall art with Hulk Annual 1 on it for free too! Glad to see him featured on your channel a bit. Its a shame I missed this show, looks like a great time. 🤙
Mike as always great video, great to see ur boy enjoying and bonding in collecting, I continue to look forward to ur videos, and continue my sobriety staying strong at 11 months now! I just got my CGC 3.5 X-Men 14 CGC 4.0 X-Men 15 and CGC 3.0 X-Men 16 so I'm going strong my friend, God bless and thank u for ur presence and amazing class of character! Have a great day/week/weekend

Nothing like your favorite TH-camr swinging through your booth. Glad you like the X-Men #96 hope to see you again brother✌
This guy's a great seller, Mike! Cool to see his stuff featured on your channel. Shout yourself out Matt and get those business cards made.

@@marshalwilenhly1099 🤣 definitely gota get them business cards.. just didn't feel big enough to need them. But if im on Lunch money comics it official now 🙌
Just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for the shout out it means a lot I get a lot wannabe "comic influencers" who hit me up trying to get free pieces from me for "exposure" You never asked for a free anything and showed support it's truly appreciated
Look like a really great show sorry that you only had two hours. I am not sure I would’ve bought that reprint of “mask” but if you like it, you do you.
I'm in New England as well and just recently got back in the game, you gotta tell me where you find these shows, I'd totally drive up to Nashua for something like this
Sweet pickups. How far are all these places are from where you live? His and hers brimfield rubber chicken etc? Whats your average radius do you travel to hit all these shows.
I liked Jim Steranko's run on Nick Fury Agent of Shield. I have the Strange Tales no. 157, and others, even better I have the oversized Steranko NIck Fury, Agent of Shield Artist Edition by IDW with the story int the book. Worth owning, if you can find a copy.
Is Muse also the murderer/artist that appears in Carnage #1 (vol. 3)? I have that Carnage book and see a lot of similarities to what you described in your review.
This was a really good show (I saw myself in the video lol) except for one vendor who was harassing guests. It was kind of insane. Didn't spoil the show for me, though. I bought a bunch of dollar bin books.
I love the channel and I hope I don’t get band for this… I’m sure those guys that throw up the 3’s are good people, but it looks really silly bro (and that’s me being nice and using family friendly words). I know I’m not the only to say what everyone is thinking. Do the podcast and stop using your fingers. It ain’t cool. ✌🏻
I think you are in the phase where you mostly completed your wishlist and start buying random crap. Ive been there for a short while. Thankfully i got back on track
@@ManaLeak13 well I certainly wouldn’t call any of my pickups “crap”, I don’t have the money to buy expensive stuff all the time. Adding smaller stuff is still collecting and is more in line with my LMC philosophy anyways
@@lunchmoneycomics Maybe I consider them crap because I'm not from the US and I've never heard of them. If you are on the phase "I want to read quality comics", I recommend reading Disney by Carl Barks and Don Rosa as well as the French-Belgian comics of Asterix, Lucky Luke and Tintin. They are way way better than most of the 90's US comics I see people collect or read by myself. Also expensive doesnt always necessary mean "a good comic read". Personally i collect comics i enjoy reading again and again , and not because they have reselling value in other collectors 😀
I see lunch money comics upload I click immediately

There's just something about watching someone flip through comics that's just so satisfying!!
Amazing finds, love that Wolverine sketch cover
Love the custom Wolverine, I'm also finally at a spot to start upgrading my issues. It's the thrill of the hunt.
I really dig that original Wolverine sketch cover. Definitely my favorite of the grabs. Great video, Mike!
Great pickup with X-Men 96. I can't stay away from that one. That Herb Trimpe sketch was awesome!
Wow! That Wolverine cover was pretty neat! love it when you go shopping strange and unusual places!
What a beautiful hotel for a show. I much prefer the smaller venues when comic hunting and that was the right size. Great pickups Mike!
Love the shout-out for the independent artist. Continuing to prove you are the real deal, sir! 🫡

Nice to see. Comic Cons are now more Toy & Game Cons than comic books.

1rst appearance of The Living Tribunal is completely bad ass, 2024 is being great to you
What a weird small world. I have several of Silverbacks artworks given to me from Dan Kan, a dealer off of Facebook
Great video, as always. Love the pickups. Thank you for shouting out Heroes 4 Heroes and the awesome donation.
Another great video awesome content 🤩
HEY kislux I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Great haul of comics. Too bad you had to leave the Con early. Keep up the great work. 😎
A wedding?! Tsk, tsk. The wedding can wait. They won't mind. :)

Crazy I found both Muse books in the dollar bins the week before they announced him to be in the show. I loved the covers!

Great Video Mike !
I got a daredevil 11 first muse a few years ago at a con and paid $5 which I thought was a bit steep at the time….. funny looking back on that now.

@@kristopherparker6871 I’m mostly within a 1.5 hour radius for most of these. The flea markets are usually within an hour.
i got to hold that exact cap number 1 at a comic show a month ago

I have bought a few art pics. He has done online he does great work
Great video as usual. I’ll grab that dented X-Men if it’s for sale!
I have a set of TMNT by Silverback. Intense style!
Mike, I think that Captain Midnight was a Canadian variant!
Where did you get your shelving that holds your comics on the wall?

Great comics got my Daredevils for .50 lol

OH NO I know you didn't mispronounce Cletus. Just kidding, another good vid!
I was looking for this comment. I had to go back and make sure I heard him right. 😂
I'm in Indiana where is this show? Are there any ever around me
I have a few Canadian comics I can't believe they have to pay more and there in black and white 🙁
Hey, unless it’s your own or your ex-wife’s, screw that wedding!
I can send you a Hebrew ultimate Spider-Man if you want.
Still Can’t understand how spawn 1 is a Wall book.
I would of just grabbed the skottie young and gave the guy money and walked away to me that's all i want
