Pretty fast game, for old timers. They did rework a huge balance on the resource consumption. And finalizing it's plotline and voiceover. Worthwhile especially it does have replay value as a "sprawl builder"
Mars is great, just circled back to that a few weeks ago and still playing it, Aftermath was so glitchy I have never been able to get it to launch.... This has been on my radar since demo. Didnt know about the dodgey practice with the EA.
I was hooked by Surving the Aftermath. Bought the game. Played a couple of hours and stopped. Never touched it again. This game here however looks very interesting. It is a good idea. But I believe it lacks "depth" even though it is in the Abyss, due to money issues.
I’ve played the game quite a bit but am annoyed by the fact that coal burning power plants don’t take into consideration the O2 requirement to burn it. Just nitpicking but let’s try to be realistic about things
I'm here because of surviving the aftermath, enjoying it so far. This looks very cool as well
i wonder if it's because of Frostpunks success that seemingly more colony sims/city builder type games keep popping up

100% Agreed. Surviving The Abyss is already a Classic, Great Design Retro/70', Good story, great atmosfera!!!
I always get this mixed up with Aquatico.
Anyway, are there settings to you can tweak the difficulty - like in Surviving Mars?

I played so much surviving the aftermath until I played it out. Enjoyed.
Damn the torpedoes ... full Steam ahead into their reviews. I shall picnic on me bank and watch the battle from ashore.

Isn't this just underwater Frostpunk?
No. Frostpunk likes to grab you by the balls and twist, Surviving the Abyss is more like the bystander watching it happen.
So wait, are you scarlet in appearance, or are you actively seeking scarlet stuffs?
🫧🟥😎
Surviving the Aftermath was terrible
