Scroll Saw Newbie - Contact Paper Glue Up Success?

My new winter hobby along with many other wood working projects!
In this video I am using the Excalibur EX21 scroll saw with a 3/0 38 tpi Flying Dutchman Spiral blade. The wood stock is from Hobby Lobby, while not the best quality product, it has been a blessing for me during my initial learning curve with scroll sawing.
