I’m a musician and have done well in my career but I find myself watching these wood turning videos an awful lot. I really see myself getting into doing stuff like this. Excellent work and very mindful creativity
Am a pencil and brush artist but really admire guys with wood and metal fabrication skills. U are sooooo gifted and creative indeed. I wanna learn this soon.
That turned out really fun. I watched this with my kid and she loved the colors it added to the piece. She told me I should try the “paperpoxy” method! I think she just named this style for me! Great video!
Hello the wood has wonderful grain and you have a brilliant imagination. I like the creativity of the wood and paper in resin to turn. The vase you have turned is magnificent and unique. You really are a masterwoodturner and craftsman. Thank you for a fabulous video can't wait for your next video. Amanda xx😊
Welcome back! The vase is beautiful. I've been wondering about other natural materials to put in epoxy - what about pine needles? Or colorful autumn leaves?
personally I don’t think it is right for anyone else to say what someone else should or could do with their creation. Different if they are copying someone else (getting inspiration etc) but what one person decides is their work is no one else’s business. Would you have suggested to Da Vinci that The Mona Lisa should a smile more or tell Michelangelo to put pants on David.
Well done. I've turned a lot of paper inserts in different projects from bowls to pens. I've used epoxy as you do here but I've also gone without it just to see if it would work. Wood glue comes apart when you get the bowl thin but if you turn the outside to final shape and then flood the paper with thin CA you can turn the inside without it coming apart. Then flood the inside and the bowl will be fine. And that's a LOT less expensive. Just my .02 worth.
❤ beautiful! What is that spray? Mostly I have seen some kind of oil here. And the spray... everywhere else I saw that, they turn in the machine for this and only need very few psss psssss Not as much spray... can't find the word I wanted to use😂🙈 It's my new night time routine. It's 2a.m. Wood work videos 😊
Ever thought to turn something from the shavings of old projects?? If I’ve learned 1 thing from these videos it’s that you can turn anything with enough resin. But of all the things I’ve seen turned. recycled shavings hasn’t been 1 of them… There’s probably good reason tho lol
que papel es el que utiliza ?? ya que he tratado de hacer algo similar para la fabricacion de cachas de cuchillos ... gracias por el aporte muy bueno en general muchas gracias
Why did you need the extra mold for the resin? I have seen it applied with a brush on many other channels, besides you clamped the two halves and that would have been enough to ensure you have great contact between the layers. The result is beautiful, but I have seen paper and resin before. I enjoyed this piece and would love more resin and paper projects, maybe a burl/burr wood would pop even more.
Cut a chunk of willow thats got all those knots and stuff from when they top cut or pollock them and do this. And use glow in the dark pigments from techno glo. It would look like alien art hehe
Awesome design. Love the multi color paper in resin. Great idea.

Wow, beautiful, creative and easy. It's officially on my to-do list.
Easily got my thumbs up! Love how the colored paper have variable thicknesses. Gives it more of a 'natural' look
Very pretty. Nicely shaped. Well finished. Thank you for sharing. Remember, when the wood goes around, the face shield goes down.🙂🙂

Wow that's really nice.❤❤❤
This is some real dedication when you are slipping each one of those 42,000 sheets of paper individually into the epoxy.
Very cool and beautiful!

Very nice

you did a good job
Increíble, que ingenioso 👏👏👏💖💖💖🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Using twine to keep the paper accessible was a stroke of genius.
That’s brilliant it would look extra cool if you turned it 90 degrees and cut it again too 👍🏻
Ive done that with pen blanks using veneer and It does look pretty good.
@@garybeasley4885 I did exactly that work a bowl blank 👍🏻
@garybeasley4885 455
That's exactly what I can here to write! Love this idea too.
Can get some good use out of some scrap wood that's just laying around too!

Awesome. Can you tell me what material you used as a mold for your resin?
This is just beautiful!!! What kind of paper did you use? It i not construction paper, is it? Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful work
❤ beautiful!

Я бачила, як інші роблять отаку паперову міокарду (здається, так воно називається), то Ваш метод швидший і простіший! Клас!
Мікарта вийде, якщо тканину клеїти. А це гетінакс
Bellissimo design
Very nice, what type of epoxy are you using?
Parabéns amigo
Beautiful piece, very creative. How long did you let the resin cure before you put it in between the 2 pieces of wood? Did you use a deep poor resin?
😎 cool

Всегда хотел спросить. Эти ваши изделия имеют спрос?
Why did you need the extra mold for the resin? I have seen it applied with a brush on many other channels, besides you clamped the two halves and that would have been enough to ensure you have great contact between the layers.

Very cool. What is the material you used to make the molds and where do you get it.

Genial!!!!!!!
When you are turning using other materials like paper or flowers can you feel the difference in that compared to wood?
What did you used in spray to make it glossy?
