Whisky.com reviews the Glenfarclas 10 Years. The best value Glenfarclas from one of Scotland's few privately run distilleries is fresh, voluminous and sherry-sweet. For all those who prefer an intense Highlands malt.

My favourite range of whisky ,Happy New Year Horst , Ben , may 2024.bring good health
Initially tastes like Italian grappa. Once it opens up and oxidises it becomes really interesting and quite complex for the age. Considering the price, this is a masterpiece in my humble opinion. Sharp and young at times. If you give it time in the glass and add a few drops of water, it becomes wonderful.
How long di you leave it to open up?

Happy New Year Horst and Ben! Glenfarclas 10 is always a good choice!
Brought in the New Year with a bottle of 10 and although I knew it was not going to blow any minds, my son and I greatly enjoyed it
Beautiful, my go-to whisky. Never disappoints.
Lovely distillery. Had the pleasure of visiting last summer. Now a firm favourite Whisky of mine.
And Happy New Year with yours and mine first whisky review of 2024.
I love all the Glenfarclas age stated bottles I’ve tried (10 year, 12, 17 and 25). I’ve bought the 10 year twice in the past few years, and both times it came in their dark drown tinted bottle. I’ve never seen a clear one.
You should try the 15yo, 46% ABV - best of the lineup 🙂
yeah that's their Goldilocks release for sure, my favorite also from them, we also get a special select barrel 15yo at 48% abv which is also very good@@MordorsMalts
As I understand it, the 15 year old isn’t sold in the US (only in Europe).@@MordorsMalts
Wow, that's a shame, readily available in Australia.@@Brad-ic4bp
My favourite over recent years is the Glenfarclas 25Yo, however it’s very expensive here in 🇦🇺 the last bottle I purchased was over AUD$300
Happy New year to you guys 🎉💥🥃🥃🥃 the best whisky podcast 👍
I’ve stocked up many bottles of the 12 year old. I just love this whiskey so much. Sweet sherry and toffee flavours. Also in my price range. I wish I could try the 25 and 30 year old but it’s out of my price range. 😭
Happy New Year Horst & Ben! Glenfarclas is Likely Old School Scotch (in my opinion)!
Easily the best $30 single malt on the market!
