Batman Arkham "Trilogy" is coming to Nintendo Switch, but it only contains the 3 games from Rocksteady (Batman Arkham Asylum/Batman Arkham City/Batman Arkham Knight), just like the Batman Arkham "Collection" for latest PS and XBOX consoles... In this video, I talk about why Batman Arkham Origins should be included in those packs, since he's just as good and important as any of the other games!

True! the Arkham Origins was great prequel I never felt disappointed playing it, it's just a solid part of a franchise.

@@OneHeroes1 I think it's due to that lack of innovation that rocksteady has kept up with each of there games and instead opted for more of a copy paste gameplay style. Also the PC version is still unfortunately very glitchy till this day. I noticed you mentioned the Death stroke boss fight being the best in the series, yet it took too many animation assets from the Rais Al Gul boss fight from Arkham city. But I will give the game this. The pre rendered cutscenes were top notch and entertaining as hell and this game had the best version of bane in terms of character writing. great video, man

Yeah, the lack on innovation is one of the main criticysms, even though I believe that's unfair for some reasons that I intend to bring up in a future video... I'm currently playing it on PC and I had a glitch against Killer Croc... Another person also commented that had a glitch while playing on PC... I really hope to not experience many while playing...
People also didn't like it that Roger Craig-Smith voiced Batman. Not Kevin Conroy. Going out of their way to say he sucked, he's not Batman, like, I don't know why they were hating on him. He did fine. I wouldn't mind him taking over as the new voice of Batman, now that Conroy is gone. WB should consider keeping him, at least for the games.
Yeah, the voice acting was also another criticism... Kevin Conroy (Bats) and Mark Hammil?(Joker) were doing Arkham Knight, so they got other VA to voice Batman and Joker... I honestly think both of them did great job! And I agree that Roger could be Batman now since Kevin is no longer here with us...
I am more than accepting of the idea that Roger Craig Smith becoming the new animated/video game Batman definitive voice. Like all of us know in this comment section we see the absolute peak potential of the great lengths he could have if he did have the opportunity for it.
I hope one day that it might happen and be set in stone.

I preferred it over Arkham Knight, no
doubt. Although the Joker is overused in the series, the way Joker became obsessed with Batman and the fact batman saved him was portrayed excellently. Deathstroke and Penguin were great. The Hatter side mission has always stuck with me too!
For real, that side mission is awesome!
Arkham origins is my favorite Arkham game, I was really hoping that the remaster rumors were real

Batman Arkham Beyond was Cancelled in 4 years ago it was a bad news and I waiting for Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady Studios Should Make a Batman Beyond Game after Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League

0:10 Very minor nitpick, but it's not the first time the series has been on a Nintendo console, as both City and Origins were on the Wii-U. Funny that Origins is on the Wii-U but not Switch.

Can I just say that I deeply deeply thank you and appreciate so damn much you making this video. For about I'd say a month or a month and a half now. I have searched to find a video of Batman: Arkham Origins that explains and states that its being unappreciated , ignored and forgotten, disrespected , unloved , scorned , cast out like a leopard and shunned from society. Being looked at by others with disgust and judgemental cruelty.
This town deserves a better class of a decent greatful people.
I'm honored and glad there are actual people in this world who recognize the beautifully iconic and masterpiece that Origins actually is. it's without a doubt my favorite Arkham game out of all the 4 we have. Maybe this is just me but I LOVE the cutscenes in Arkham origins. Even though they weren’t rendered in the actual game, they were always fun to watch because of the visuals and the music behind each of the scenes. Just listen to the carol of the bells when joker reveals that he’s black mask, hits every time.
I'm gonna pay more attention to the background sounds next time I play... I usually focus on conversations and interactions and I end up missing things like this haha

I never understood that either. That fact that both Deathstroke and Firefly both mentioned what happened in Arkham knight from Arkham Orgins. So its a quadrilogy
Exactly! Even Arkham Knight acknowledges Origins as part of the series, but them they just make Batman Arkham "Trilogy"
It’s sad, because I can get it on Xbox, but I will never get to play Cold Cold Heart. I would pay 70 dollars for an Origins remaster with dlc
For real! I'm only able to experience the DLC because I got it on PC and fortunately mine is able to run it... I have a PS3 copy but I didn't have DLC for it...
I'm going to say this after playing each Arkham game at least three times, I liked more Arkham Origins than Asylum, there, you can murder me in the comments now.

I think it's Origins, but I feel like every game offers something different and they are perfect when combined!
its not in the pack because of origins not being owned by rocksteady i believe. would be too much of a hassle to colaberate for a single pack
Yeah, that's one of the possible reasons... I believe they just don't wanna go after Origins to put it in there, since it's the most disliked game and it would require some effort to put it there... Maybe they feel like it's not worth it...
looking back at the arkham games arkham origins has the most interesting and engaging story to me, going around seen as a mystery and not yet an established hero batman is known as in the other games is refreshing

Im i the only one that thinks that origins and the rest of the games story dont match not only do the characters dont look or feel the same many of the background do not match with arkham asylum voice recording like the interaction between harley and joker how they met for the first time is different. Origin is a good game, but it should stand alone.
The story is what happened before Arkham, so yeah, it's not really tied up as much as the other games, and the Voice Acting and character designs like Batman, Bane, The Joker are different here too... Makes sense since it's the begining of Bruce's life as Batman for the costume and the villains to be a little different, and the voice acting is because the voice actors where ocupied doing Arkham Knight, but I understand if you think it shoud stand alone because of these differences, though I believe it really adds a lot for the franchise...
@OneHeroes1 dont get me wtong i understand but the problem is in arkham asylum when collecting the recordings to get the story of what happen before does not match what the interaction of arkham origin take joker and harley interaction. They couldve done word for word what it was in asylum with a different voice actor and i would have been fine, and the look is understandable i just did not like the difference of killer croc.
Bought this game on pc so I could experience it again, it was awesome and possibly one of my favourites. My only complaint is that I had a glitch where the first bird fight has disappeared and I can no longer do that side quest
Yeah, I bought the game on PC recently too and I'm so glad my desktop could run it! You know, I had a glitch against Killer Croc where the sound would be gone, then it would come back after I press "Start" and then Killer Croc would start to "blink"... It was so weird! Hope the PC version doesn't have to many bugs...
@@OneHeroes1 if it’s that he’s flickering in and out ( disappearing during certain animations) try disabling hardware accelerated physics in video options. That seemed to fix it for me. Awesome game but it didn’t get the same level of polish as the rest of the trilogy sadly

Every Arkham game had a pro, Asylum had the atmosphere, City had the story, Origins had the boss fights, and Knight has great graphics and gamplay. So yes it is unfair for Origins to sit out while the other games get to be played on other consoles releases.

The Batcave in Origins really annoys me. On the map on Origins it looks like it's underneath Wayne Tower. But then when you go to Arkham Knight the Batcave is nowhere to be seen. Instead there's a car park where it should be. I understand why but it annoys me half to hell especially for creating Arkhamverse maps.
I never payed attention to that detail... Next time I play Origins I'll see if I can find it in the map where it shows that is underneath Wayne Tower... Always though it was on an Island since in the map it looks like it's separeted from the map
@@OneHeroes1 Yeah. If you look out across the river behind the Museum you can see Wayne tower that roughly corrolates with where it is placed on the map.

That’s Knight’s fault for not paying attention to what Origins did. I guess Rocksteady just decided to ignore the location of the Batcave in the previous game, since they didn’t work on it.
@@mathy4605 Na. It's still Origin's fault because when you play the game it's set up and made out to be beneath Wayne Manor. So either Origin's is an alternate reality where Wayne Manor looks like Wayne Tower when viewed from everywhere but right up close or they don goofed up.
The character design for joker killed the game for me, he looks cartoonish like even more so than the other games and it just makes me feel like this is less of an arkham game and more of a wannabe batman spinoff- if you look at the out of bounds the whole game is basically just a modded arkham city

Asylum, City and Knight are available for current gen, only Origins is not available at the moment...
@@OneHeroes1 Oh I know that, a 60fps boost for asylum, city and knight for PS5 would do, well city can be played @60 on PS5 but its inconsistent

No it's not... Arkham Knight reffers to Arkham Origins several times...
Speaking of Arkhamverse games if we ever get a Batman beyond game. I think Terry should get his own trilogy. And as a nod to the old stuff make the subtitles a reference to the dark knight Trilogy. Even give Terry the beyond suit upgrade he got in the comics by game 3.
I gotta say I really enjoy Terry Batman! Specially if we could have Bruce mentoring him! Could work very well!

Its find to me, i never liked Origins. Would be even better If knight wasnt Part of it too. Just Asylum and City on cartridge and 40 Bucks would be perfect
In Playstation and Xbox you can get just the 2 games in a pack called "Return To Arkham"
