Man your like a walking encyclopedia of info.. for these ol' STOVEBOLTs.. love it 👍 & you taught me that as well.. STOVEBOLT hahaaaaa 🤣you're awesome brother. Keep it rolln. 🔥
Hey David, as long as you can make the room for it and it's properly secured there's no problem moving it to under the engine compartment. My 49 GMC came with the battery relocated to the engine compartment by a previous owner and I left it there when I swapped the engine and put it back on the road again. I did eventually move it back to under the floor because the new heater I installed required the hoses to be routed where the battery was mounted. Good luck
Interesting videos. Well done. I wouldn’t have fiddled around adding the dual carbs. Totally unnecesssry and added complexity. Gas mileage will drop from 12 MPG to 8 MPG and for what? Just my opinion.
Thank you for this video. I just bought a 1950 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery with the same carburetor setup. This is very helpful.
You will enjoy your 50 truck. Thanks for watching John.

Thanks Bob.
Dave on my 46 the battery is under the floor board as you know. Do you think moving the battery under the hood will affect anything?

Yes, I almost quoted that famous line but didn't want a copyright issue, LOL.
