  • Welcome back to Drifting South! This week we are showing you around the spooky town of Tonopah before heading into Las Vegas for a couple nights then drifting further south.
Tonopah is such a cool town with so many things to see and do but sadly is a dying town that is slowly falling apart.
We weren't sure if we were going to stay in Las Vegas or not but we went for it and definitely needed a day to recover before doing some salt water shopping at the Cabellas/Bass Pro Shop.
We stayed on lake Mead at the boulder beach campground so that we could visit the Hoover Dam. It was way bigger than I imagined and the temperatures were hot so we didn't stay long.
We found a problem with the truck also so we are planning to stop in Lake Havasu City to have it repaired. While we were there I was able to visit the annual Lake Havasu Gem show which was so much fun for me! We also got the Shellfish wet in the U.S at Alamo lake and fished for some Bass!
That and so much more is coming up next week on Drifting South.
Thank you so much for watching and take care until next time!
    Jenny
