you don't have to go that high before a good blend. temple fades are better It's the customer's if they don't know better. A clipper won't blend for you
I have seen some barbers cut the guidelines using andis t-edgers. Do you use the Masters for the guideline because it doesn't cut as close as the t-edgers?
Once you use the edges to make the guideline its harder to take the line out when fading. i like doing fades by using the regular clippers and rocking out when making the line

that is true about digging the line, but fading with the machine closed? thats crazy you gotta have some talent to be able to do that

you should try fadin down instead of bumpin the line up it comes out so much cleaner and the process is easier

cutting against the grain will not cut out waves and that looks like a a 1/16 .
