My summer vacation tradition is reading Harry Potter every year. It started by the time the 7th book realease I think, i started te-reading them in English instead of French because I didn’t want to wait for the French release so my friend lend me hers.
Other than that, I reread les enfants de la terre as well three times I think.
I don't really reread books when it comes to novels/plays. The few exceptions have been Pride and Prejudice, the Hobbit, Macbeth, and one called Time Windows that left an impact on me in middle school for some reason or another. But yeah, that's over the course of 16 years or so, so really not a lot. I should really reread Harry Potter however!

I loved the Winner's Triology! I reread these books every year: The Witch of Blackbird Pond, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Anne of Green Gables. I really want to reread Fahrenheit 451 - I remember liking it as a teenager and want to read it again before I see the new movie version on HBO.
I just started The Winner’s Curse today. Excited to read it.
I’ve never been one to re read books but this year I started rereading some of my favorites. I’m making my way through a reread of Harry Potter but listening to the audiobooks. I’ve made it through book 3.
I also reread The Book Thief by listening to the audiobook and it was just as amazing as I remember!
I LOOOOOVE the bind-up edition of His Dark Materials! I have it too! I just adore that series so, so much.

@bookswithEmilyFox I feel the same about not really rereading books. One favorite however that breaks that rule for me is Enders Game. I just love that one. If you haven’t read it... I highly recommend it.
I totally agree with you about Evelyn Hardcastle! It was quite confusing and I think it requires a reread to fully understand it lol.
There are two series I bought as paper copies originally, read and loved them, and now I'm reading them again in audio book format while I work. Those are the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones (main character is the grim reaper, boyfriend is the son of Satan), last book in the series comes out the beginning of 2019 for a total of 13 books. The other is the Bloody Jack series by LA Meyer (beggar girl stows away on a British ship disguised as a ship's boy), 12 books in total. So those two I've already started re-reading, but I would also like to re-read the Jackaby series by William Ritter, and both of Victoria Laurie's mystery series. So many books. So little time.
Six of Crows is the best!!! I'm always rereading that.

I don't reread books often, but there are a few that I would like to read again, which I first read as a kid. The Everworld series. I read a bunch of these books, but don't think I ever finished the series. Would be good to go back and read them all. I also want to read all of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy again.
I reread so much back in high school, but ever since college, I haven't reread much. My fave books that I go back to and reread are HP (like everyone else ha), Slaughterhouse V, and Pride and Prejudice.
Bird Box is my absolute favorite!!! I don't know what it is about it but I'm literally obsessed!!! I agree about the ending but I can overlook it just cause of the craziness and uniqueness of it!!
I like to re-read Pride & Prejudice and its retellings (e.g. Elligible or The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet). I also re-read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom this year and I think I might actually re-read that one quite more often in the future!
I LOVED Bird Box!!! I felt he left it open for a sequel!! Fingers crossed !!!!

I enjoy rereading books. I have read the Harry Potter series many times. I have the illustrated editions, but I am waiting to read them until I think my daughter will enjoy them. 📚
OH MY GODDDD I ALSO LOVEEEE "I'LL GIVE YOU THE SUN"!!! It's my favourite YA novel! And Jandy Nelson's writing is amazing, I wish every book was written like that.
Will absolutely re-read the Cemetery of Forgotten Books (The Shadow of the Wind) series. Favorites of all time.
I totally agree about The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle! I discovered this book through your channel, thanks to you, and I LOVED IT! It is indeed very confusing but every detail is being put out there for a reason, so rereading it knowing the ending would be so interesting!
I don't reread often but I reread Red Rising by Pierce Brown every year and I've also reread Unwind by Neal Shusterman quite a few times 😀
I've only ever reread the Chronicles of Narnia (several times). I do, however, feel like I should reread some old favourites to see if I still love them
I love rereading books. I reread Harry Potter a lot, I lost count. And I am planning on rereading The Lunar chronicles and the Grisha trilogy.
I've reread the Harry Potter series several times. I just bought the first illustrated book, so I plan on reading that soon. This year, I'm trying to reread my favorite stories through audiobook. Just finished GraphicAudio's version of the Mistborn trilogy, which was PHENOMENAL. It's full-cast, complete with music and sound effects! Also, BBC's Neverwhere adaptation and Six of Crows. Next will be Court of Mist and Fury (agree that this was the best). :)
I’m just reading the Winners Curse for the first time! I’m about halfway through the first book and I’m really enjoying it so far.

I'm not a rereader. There are books I'd like to reread because they were good. But I never do.
I did reread Harry Potter 1 recently because it'd been 15ish years since the last time. Loved it.
I admit to being a frequent re-reader. Historically my favourite rereads have been thr Anne of Green Gables series, the Chronicles of Narnia, The Swiss Family Robinson and the Obsidian Mountain trilogy to name a few. Currently on my reread list is the Emily of New Moon series, the Green Rider series, the Name of the Wind and The Princess and the Goblin.
I reread “And Then There Were None” whenever I go on a longer trip. It’s comforting to have the familiar characters and plot line in unfamiliar places!
I LOVE Brandon Sanderson's books... I would definitely re read all the ones I've read so far 😍
I just finished the HP series last year. So I haven't done any rereads yet. I've reread some of the Sookie Stackhouse books, Divine Secrets of the yaya Sisterhood, JD Robb books, and some books by Barbara o'neil
I reread soooo much, I tend to like books better the second time I read them! But the ones I’ve probably reread the most are the Mercy Thompson series and the Belgariad which I must have read at least 10 times 💖
I just started the third book of His Dark Materials (bought this on your recommendation) It's so good!! I have the same edition. Also, LOVE rereading Harry Potter and will definitely reread ' I'll give you the sun '.😄

I plan to reread Harry Potter in the Illustrated versions too :) I have the first three, maybe I'll wait till winter when the next one usually comes out to start though. I always like reading HP in the winter for some reason.
I reread books all the time. I find that knowing what eventually happens helps me appreciate it better. Of course, there are some that have a special place. When I was a kid it was The Neverending Story, later it was The Name of the Rose, the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter. Now I'm rereading A Song of Ice and Fire and I love catching all the little details that I didn't get the first (or third) time.
I’ve been re-reading the harry potter series since 2017 and I love it so so much :)
I don't mind when there are romantic elements in an novel, but I don't like when it's the main focus. Ah, well. I am a huge fan of rereading books. I always pick up more details and things that I may have missed the first time around
It's also usually my main issue (plus the fact it's usually insta love and pretty cringy..) but the ones I mentioned had enough fantasy elements and political intrigue. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a straight up romance book!
I're read I'll Give You the Sun four times. I like the book more and more every time I read it.

i have read The Book Thief every year since 2013 when i first read it because i love suffering? and i'd always re-read harry potter so i'm with you on that one, im even re-reading it right now

I hardly ever reread books anymore because there are just too many new ones I wanna read, but I would definitely reread "Yosoy" by Gudrun Eva Minervudottir, and "A Line Made by Walking" by Sara Baume. They're both really beautiful
Great video! The books I would def re read will be “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. “One hundred 100 years of Solitude” and “Love in the Time of Cholera” both by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.... I read those in Spanish because I don’t know if would like the translated version. Also “Emma” and “Pride and Prejudice”by Jane Austen. Those are the ones that came to mind right now lol.

I really want to re-read Harry Potter. I read them in Dutch twice when I was younger, but now I want to read them in English. I also agree with you on the Seven Deaths, cause I'm sure I missed things when I read it the first time and I want to see if I pick up on more hints if I reread it.
The book I reread most is probably A Crusade in Jeans, which is orignally a dutch book (kruistocht in Spijkerbroek) and my mum read it to me when I was youger and I guess I read it myself 2 or 3 times.
The Firm by John Grisham. I’ve re-read it so many times. If you like legal thriller, you have to read it. It will blow your mind

I'm currently rereading Harry Potter because the Exhibition is coming to a place near me. I'm on the forth book. It's as amazing as ever!

I have and will reread "The Witching Hour" by Ann Rice. It is by far my favorite book of all time!
If you like Philip Pullman, honestly, try the Sally Lockhart series, because I'd say it beats Northern Lights clean out the park. Funny, well-written, Indiana Jones meets Sherlock Holmes mystery.
I've reread the Harry Potter books many times as well ! Other books I like rereading are The Secret History and most books by Dan Brown, I just find them so enjoy able 😊

I've to say you've been GLOWING recently!! I know it's kind of weird, and of course you're always beautiful, but every time I click on a video of yours, the thought "wow she's glowing" just pops to my head. Also, I actually just ordered "the seven deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle" because of your recommendation! Your channel has really made me to want to read more sci-fi and start reading thrillers! I always throwing woukd enjoy these genres but I guess I was scared? IDK, anyway thank you for helping me evolve in my reading!

I actually reread ACOMAF last week! I returned book one and will never again read book three, but I really loved ACOMAF. it's not perfect though, but it's so entertaining.
I actually reread some of my books. Pride and prejudice almost every year. Before i would reread in summer the Harry Potter series, but now i don't do it (don't know why). I also reread a few times Like water for chocolate of Laura Esquivel. And the 2º book of saga of 8 books from a writer from my country (that i doubt it was translated in english).
I just started Shadow of Self (book #5) and Way of Kings 😂 Brandon Sanderson blows my little mind 🐸
I only reread books if the 3rd book in a series still hasn't come out. As I am waiting and waiting i will reread the prior books just to be ready for the final book. Justin Cronin's trilogy as an example. His 3rd book in the Passage trilogy took Forever to come out.
I reread Harry Potter book one with the illustrated edition and it was an entirely new experience. Planning to read book 2 soon.

I loved Bird Box. It was soooooo god!! The ending, i liked it, it made sense, i wanted to know what was what, but I realised it was about them as characters, not about the monsters, so i was cool about that

I have re read Harry Potter 3 times so far, and I’m sure I will again soon in the near future :). I totally agree about “Evelyn Hardcastle”, that book blew me away!! Another I return to again and again is Bridget Jones’ Diary - for commiseration and comic relief 😂
The Winners trilogy is a great series. I thought you were going to hold up the Kiss of Deception for a minute. I never reread, I've only reread 4 books and they do not include Harry Potter 🙈😀.
I have only reread Way of Kings and Words of Radiance in preparation for Oathbringer, also The Name of the Wind 10th anniversary, soon I'll be rereading Mistborn trilogy. This means... your answer #1 is definitely something I agree completely! :D
I'm sure I would reread the Stormlight Archives series if I started it... but I don't want to wait for the next books so I'll wait until the 5th one is announced :P

It's a long wait but definitely a wise choice!! I think book 5 will be released in 2023 if everything is going according to plan. Urgh, i get goosebumps everytime I think about the years of release with this series...

I almost never re-read. When I was younger I listened to Ella Enchanted and Prisoner of Azkaban continuously. Still some of my favorite books.
I DO re-read every book I teach every time I teach them, so I read The Great Gatsby and The Odyssey and books like that yearly.

I have read Illuminae 3x, Phantoms by Dean Kootnz prob 6x, and The Mist by Stephen King 4x.... I want to reread Ten by Gretchen Mcneil (it's like Scream meets And Then there Were None!); The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson and RuneBinder By Alex Kahler! I am getting more into fantasy and would reread that one! I don't usually reread (usually takes years) but last yr I had gotten into the idea of rereading more and making it a habit.
Before I started to read a lot, I reread books often. When I was little, waiting for the next book to come out I've been rereading previous books of Harry Potter over and over and over again. And as a teen, when I first read Hunger Games and fell in love, I've been rereading first book over and over😅

I always reread The Red Rising trilogy, i just love that books, i dont reread a lot of books, only 4 books that i reread in my life, i just reread 11/22/63 for my school report and i JUST LOVE THAT BOOK, TOTALLY RECOMEND AND THEN WATCH THE SERIES

I want to re-read the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. You need to read it!!! All of their series are really good. I actually think you would like it unlike when I tell you to read other books like Outlander (which you should also read I just don't know if you will like it...) :p
It’s funny how I can reread Harry Potter over and over again (my order also changes every time haha) and not feel guilty about it but I can never bring myself to reread other books I loved ! I used to reread all the time when I was younger and got obsessed over anything I read. These days it's basically just harry potter. Right now tho, I'm rereading the court of thorns and roses series, even though I didn't like it all that much. I must have a new guilty pleasure: rolling my eyes and second hand embarrassment.
P.s. the next illustrated Harry Potter is coming out next year insted of this year. It broke my heart a little when I found out.

I've been in a reading slump since reading A court of mist and fury and cant seem to find a book like it.
I reread the Left Hand of Darkness, I highly recommend it if you haven't read it, it's a sci-fi with a story line that really captivated me. It's one I can't put down. Do you have a Brandon Sanderson book or series that you recommend starting with? I've been binging your book videos and you have me so interested!

Rereading is a thing I usually don't do, but have also thought about giving it a try.. I still didn't finish a full reread even on the first Harry Potter book :D maybe I'd try to be more persistent.
However, "Bird Box" won't be on my list :) I don't get the hype at all. What did you like about it?
