Συγχαρητήρια, very good. Quick question: how would you compare this to the Marantz AV10? If I get the Marantz (around same price) I will lose the 13 amps channels. Is the supposed extra quality of the Marantz worth such sacrifice? I already have amps, but if teh denon is the same as Marantz plus 13 amps channels for the same price, I cannot see the reason to go with the Marantz...
@@hxosplus Many thanks. Yes, but is it meaningfully better, so as to sacrifice 13 channels of amplification? is it like a Citroen vs Porsche or is it more like Porsche top model and another one from Porsche that has 20 km/h less top speed?
@@hxosplus you're cool with explaining the difference what in your opinion makes you say this Denon AVR has a better gaming features over the AVM 90 seriously curious
@@BIGBASSSAMA_4 Because I have checked the Denon A1H with different TVs and works marvelous. The Anthem is a premium product but this one is way ahead.
Now I see why true enthusiasts put their AV rack in a separate room --- when this beast winds up all those fans when it gets hot it probably sounds like a Boeing 777 taking off LOL
If one is looking for quality sound, rather features functionalities or extra channels. One would be wise to choose an AVR for its components. If it looks too much, it's probably going to sound too much.
@@justincrossley1913 I don’t think Denon will be doing separates again, as long as I understood what was said, after they were bought by massimo.. I think the plan is going forward for Denon to produce the AVR, or all in one unit, while they’re stablemate Marrantz, will create the amplifier, and processor (or the separate crowd…)
@@RyanDabrowskiBoilerUp do you think denon will eventually do a class D amplifier in there avr to be able to output more power to speakers because there so many channels what do you think 10 years
@@justincrossley1913 hmm, I am not sure I will see what I can get out of it, once I have one… it was supposed to be here today, but it wasn’t, so I think the next shipment will come in on Tuesday, which will hopefully contain the A1H, but I will have to see, if it does come in, I will probably have it installed by hopefully next weekend, so I can see how well it performs, but I don’t have inefficient speakers, so it won’t take too much power to drive my current 7.2.6 or 9.2.6 Klipsch set up, depending on if I have a need for 9 or 7 bed layer speakers, but I will post about my experience, once I actually have the AVR to drive my set up… I’m coming from an integra 5.4 which has no problem driving the set up, though I don’t hear much from the height speakers, where that could be how the Atmos track is designed, or it could be that this AVR doesn’t have the power output, to support my 7.2.2 speaker set up… but either way, I am looking forward to hearing more height effects from this avr, with its 15 speakers of output… compared to my current 9 channel integra 5.4 from last year… I just want to say I have more speakers, then I will be able to hear with the Denon a1h as well, but I am really curious to see if I can hear the moving height effects, instead of just having one R and one L height speaker working….
7000$ for an integrated amplifier with standard power supply (no toroidal) and 2 small transistor for each channel? No thanks, at that price can have a better pre/amp solution
That's funny because even though it wasn't the flagship when I auditioned the £2,000 Denon 6500, I couldn't get the best out of any of my high-end speakers with a Denon! Apart from occasionally having to reach for the remote control when the movie Sound Dynamics changed, the movie listening with Denon is actually pretty balanced. But it's digital sounding two channel audio (stereo) absolutely sucked. Unlock my current AVR. One certainly wouldn't wish to play it at low volumes, and that's even with a £1,000 Poweramp.
Never again any f.... Denon products !!!! my A1H it broke after 2 weeks , memory for the Audyssey calibration stopped maintaining settings after disconnecting the power supply and now only service can help !!!!! 6000 Euro spend for a junk. From now Denon is my enemy
I love these tear-down videos that you do, much appreciated!
Thank you
wow, great av receiver, great quality
That’s amazing! A true flagship amplifier😍Made in Japan too😭
It's not that great to be honest
@@themafia3119 What not great exactly , except price ???
Which model of audissey microphone is using?
Woooooooooooow Ultra Incredible, big up to Denon

Thank you. Marantz is a bit better, cause it is a processor/preamp device. Separates are always better.

Strange how Denon or marantz owners usually end up having to go with separates ☺️
That is one beautiful beast!❤❤❤❤
Which has a better dac and gaming features in your opinion this vs the anthem avm 90?
Gaming features this one for sure

How can I get one shipped direct to Malawi
what is this amplifier
For home theatre
I like this avr but I can see problems it’s going to get hot in there 15 channels 1 e core transformer

There are about 8 powerful fans underneath.

Fair enough!
Give examples, with 15.4.
Besides this monster of technology and performance, Anthem or Trinnov AV amplifiers look like children toys for amateurs.
