Appreciate you listing the items in the comments instead of doing what a lot of others seem to be doing and just putting in a link to their LTK page. Thanks 👍🏻😊
Having coffee, some pumpkin bread, and watching your video. What a great start to a Sunday. I love the items you feature and the break down of them, but what I love most is your humor.
im loving how much you love m& s as i really love them to , they have got so so much better over the last few years and they are so reasonably priced, its win win ! x
I appreciate how thoughtful you are about linking items. The details are really helpful! I love watching what you’re buying for each season, as inspiration but an idea 💡….maybe a fall recap video where you could share what items were your most used by end of season and what items you’re carrying to winter. ❤
Thank you, Emma. I never think to look at M&S footwear so I’ll check it out. That’s a great tip about putting them in your outbox to see if they give you a discount.
Hi Emma, the m&s footwear are lovley. Youre right about sunglasses, i have dry eye's and also tend to squint, so sunglasses are a must. Enjoy your Sunday x
These are great items, Emma. I have also had the same experience with changes in my feet that have caused my shoes to become uncomfortable. I’ve sold many of my shoes on Vinted and am slowly and carefully reinvesting in new footwear 😊
Thanks Emma. Loving the Cos jumper on you and the M&S boots. I’m intrigued by your niche foot condition - how long have you had this? I’ve got an issue with my Achilles and have been in trainers for the last two years (not that you could pay me to wear a pay of heels post-Covid anyway!). Another great video ❤
haha I hear ya. Mine could be similar issue to yours. I have Haglund's which causes a lump on the heel where the Achilles attaches to the bone and it changes which is why I can buy a pair of shoes and they're comfortable but then three months later they're not. It's quite annoying 🫠
I have the same problem with my feet Emma, plus other issues as well, heartbreaking!!! Gave away countless pairs of shoes. I love the loafers, will hunt for a similar pair here in NY. I have 3 pairs of Thursday boots, two chelseas and one lace up boot. Once broken in, they are amazingly comfy. Contours to my feet. Wonderful. The COS cashemere sweater is perfection, color, length, whatever you paid is worth it. Great video as per usual. Thanks! Annie
Hi Emma. There are some lovely pieces in your autumn collection. I love Chelsea boots particularly the Birkenstock ones- a little shorter on the ankle but I know you are a lover of the brand. They come in brown, greize, burgundy and black in suede and leather and though on the pricier side, I know they’d be 100% on quality and long-wearing. I’m still saving up for a pair! 🧡🍁
I do love Birkenstock sandals but for some reason there's something about their boots which I can't seem to get on board with. Glad you've found a pair that you love though 🙌🏼
I have a few Monica Vinader pieces and I do like the Nura wrap ring but it's going to catch on things the way the diamond band sticks out. I've had things in my basket form M&S and they've never sent me a discount code :( The Sparks offers I get sent are rarely useful.
Hello Emma - would love a video on walking / hiking clothes that you recommend including footwear. For that country lifestyle but also for when us city folk want to go out
Omg I’ve been thinking about buying veja venturi for a month now and was looking for your review and there you are! I’m finally getting them now, maybe even in this awesome beige suede😂
Ooo, I have those Veja sneakers (bought last year) and LOVE them. They are so comfortable! Here in Colorado, they’d be great for outdoors activities, but I’m still feeling a bit precious with mine, so they only go to work or on errands and only when the weather is 🌞. I hope you find them comfortable for your heels.
Oh my! You’ve got me wanting a COS cashmere sweater so badly! The only thing holding me back is a moth issue. Ugh! (LOVE your music - it suits your style so well.)
Luckily I have never had an issue with moths although I do use moth balls and scents that should repel them, might be worth a try if you have had issues previously 👍
Hi Emma, a great video as always. Would you do a segment on the impact of synthetic dye in clothing on health and the environment, and what highlight a few brands that use natural dye?
It’s not something I know a lot about I’m afraid. There are probably some sustainable influencers that would be more knowledgable on that subject than I x
That's interesting 🤔 I am 47 and I have had the same shoe size since I was about 14 a UK size 5. I thought that my feet would grow when I was pregnant but not. My mum has had the same shoe size her whole life, also a size 5, but about 20 years ago she broke a small toe, didn't have it seen too immediately and now has problems with that toe, so she wears one size bigger.
When i was in my twenties.....in the 2000's .... Tesco had a range of clothing that had silk and cashmere scarves and jumpers!!! I still have a scarf from them!!! So grateful!!!! xoxooxox
I have a dismal success rate with shoes, I only end up keeping about one-third to one-half of those I buy. No matter how carefully I try them on and walk around in them at home, they end up hurting too much when I actually wear them on an outing. Of course, once worn outdoors, they can’t be returned, so I end up reselling them at a huge loss. I’m not tall and nearly every pair of shoes comes up far too high on the backs of my heels, even heel liners can’t always fix this. Plus, my toes are a Medium, or C, width, but most brands claim a B width, but really make them an A width, to save on the leather needed. That’s why, when I find a footwear brand that is actually comfortable, I tend to buy from them. I never even look at pointed-toe footwear, I know my feet won’t fit them. This last year, for the first time in my fifty years of styling, I’m finally seeing shoes that are now both stylish and comfortable, with the 2-inch or so heels I like. I don’t want to wear sneakers everyday, especially with the dresses and skirt outfits I wear almost daily, year-round.
Honestly your hands and in particulary your nails are so nice and chic can't take my eyes off your almond/french manicure😁🥰 🤷♀️ Thank you for this nice selectio n Emma I really enjoy the crop jacket and the suede sneakers which could be cool together 😏😏😉 Have a nice dimanche 😉😘
Ciao Emma! Thanks for you video, I used to wear 38,5 now I have been wearing 41 for a while, now I am at 40…I had to say goodbye to 3 pairs of Trickers 😢 I do agree with you about the thick COS cachemire and the cut of the sweater you bought. I also have the grey and the brown if last year. I have now in my wish list the red one…very strange for me as my wardrobe is mainly neutrals, grey brown and black. But that red..it has something…I might dare…have a great Sunday, here in the Netherlands is chilly and sunny, best of Autumn, our favorite season ☺️
Ahahah ! I've already asked her about Eric Bompard !!!!!!!! I love so much their knitwear. I've already prepared my basket for the Black Friday ... This year my aim is to buy a "6 fils" sweater .... can't wait !!!
The sunglasses match your lovely hair very nicely too 😉 rip to the footwear you’ve had to part ways with, for some reason my feet hate M&S shoes 🙈 never found a comfy pair but those Chelsea boots are such a classic shape. That Cos jumper has been everywhere and you wear it well, it’s really beautiful. Thank you for the MV code, love their pieces. Hope you and Simon have a great week ❤
They are slightly large from my personal experience but only if you're a half size. I don't really know about Canadian sizes but the online size chart should be able to offer more clarity with measurements. If it helps I'm a UK 7.5 and take a UK 8 in New Balance, in these boots I took a UK 7 x
I agree, it wouldn't offer much warmth in the colder seasons but you could always pop a nice cosy jumper underneath or use it primarily for autumn and the rainy days 👍
Thank you Emma ! Love your videos & your style , I've recently moved to the county so had to make a few changes to my wardrobe. Love the MV jewellery & have a few pieces tho I found their pendants really stained my clothes, sent one back & they replaced it but still have the same issue. Perhaps it's just me 🤷♀️
Oh that’s strange. I’ve never had that issue personally but gold vermeil and other metals can react differently depending on each persons skin acidity x
Hi Emma, when you are modeling the Uniqlo gilet/vest, are you wearing the Uniqlo smart ankle trouser? You do link them but just wanting to make sure I am matching the right items with the correct cut away.
Hi Emma - would you mind sharing how tall you are? We have the same size feet (so I assume you're taller than average) and of a similar build to me, so it would be helpful to know re: fits and lengths, particularly when it comes to trousers.
Hi Emma, i have been trying to find out who made the cashmere jumper in this video - you feature oatmeal, red and so on, but I can’t work out how to find it on your website and you don’t mention the maker in the video or at least I can’t work out who it is.

Yes unfortunately my links don't always automatically convert from UK to other countries. Sometimes it's just for specific items due to different names for things or different stock levels. We often have stock that the US doesn't carry for example so therefore it wouldn't be available for you to purchase, or maybe hasn't dropped there yet x
Sadly M&S don’t make shoes big enough for me, I take size 43EE. M&S dabbled with a size 9 for a while, but they never fitted me. I rely on German brands and Hotter.
I'm off to Disneyland Paris tomorrow for Halloween so I'll be vlogging that if all goes to plan and then there's an Autumn Home Refresh video coming up on Wednesday next week with all our Autumnal decor. If this comment is correct I consider it a positive, not a negative. I value the consistency of your style choices, and your emphasis on quality and longevity in fashion. I also appreciate your inclusion of more economical items for the budget-minded viewer. Lastly, at 65, I like the fact that the majority of your fashion choices are appropriate for women in my age-range. There are a huge number of fashion videos posted on TH-cam, but I have found very, very few content providers that offer much of real value, but I consistently come back to you. Thanks for all you do from a US subscriber.
Appreciate you listing the items in the comments instead of doing what a lot of others seem to be doing and just putting in a link to their LTK page. Thanks 👍🏻😊
I’ve always done my description boxes this way, I think it’s easier for you guys as I can give all the info like size too x
@@EmmaHillgreatly appreciated ❤

What an Autumnal morning you're having 🙌🏼
Just love how you are always looking for quality even in less expensive items
I’m liking the outdoor shots.. it’s somehow easier to judge how outerwear looks.
Always a great start of the day on Sunday :). Would love to see an updated favorite knits for autumn/winter. Have a fab Sunday!
thank you, you too x
Over the years I have had to give up heels ….pointy toes….so now on the lookout for comfortable….almond toe….low heel shoes

Great pieces, Emma. Love that little pearl bracelet with the tiny gold charm. 🤩 Thanks for really good basics choices!
Emmaaaaa! The outfits in the cutaways are so nice! I would love to see more dedicated styling videos 🫶🏽🫶🏽
Also, you may have done this but how has your style changed since living in the countryside and how does that translate to day to day wear?
I haven't done a dedicated video on this but I've touched on it in several other videos x
Thank you, Emma. I never think to look at M&S footwear so I’ll check it out. That’s a great tip about putting them in your outbox to see if they give you a discount.
Never worked for me.
Still wearing linen shirt in Tokyo today.
But finally, it is lower than 30c this week and looking forward my wardrobe switch over to fall.
Hi Emma, the m&s footwear are lovley. Youre right about sunglasses, i have dry eye's and also tend to squint, so sunglasses are a must. Enjoy your Sunday x

I have not but I’ll take a look x
Great vid as always, Emma. As for boots, have you tried solovair boots? Thinking of getting a pair for myself.
I haven't tried them personally but have seen them online 👍
Dear Emma, all womens feet change with age. I have also had to let go of all my beautiful shoes and boots😢😢. Focus on the joy of finding new faves .

Not clothing related but wondering about the watch band you’ve chosen for your Apple Watch. If you purchased it from a third party supplier?
It’s an Apple branded Watch strap, it’s just the one I chose when I bought the watch x
Hello, do the brown loafers run smaller or normal ? ✌️🙉 do you took your normal size ?
I took my normal size, they run true to size x
Love the outdoor shots 🥰

Can I ask what size M&S footwear you buy in EU size please. Sometimes they only do EU 40 & I am a 41. Never know whether to go up or down a size.
It depends on the style, I always list the sizes bought in each item in the description box along with my size info for your convenience x
Hi Emma - would you mind sharing how tall you are? We have the same size feet (so I assume you're taller than average) and of a similar build to me, so it would be helpful to know re: fits and lengths, particularly when it comes to trousers.

I love the Celine Triomphes, but my nose isn’t big enough for them! 🥺
It‘s so funny that you think the same about COS Cashmere Jumper, for me they are the best. Expensive but its a great investment piecees.

I hadn’t realised the info was so far down! Thanks all clear now. Never heard of Cos but I have now. Much appreciated.
Hi Emma, you got yourself some great new additions to your wardrobe.
COS cashmere is great and even I can afford to buy a piece every year.
They have now brushed cashmere of which I quite like a cardigan.
Have you any experience with brushed cashmere ?
I wonder about pilling, as the piece already is a bit ‘hairy ‘ through the brushing effect.
Your advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again, have a great weekend and a wonderful next week.
👏💐😎
I haven't bought any of the brushed cashmere as of yet, I like the look and do have the fingerless gloves in my basket to ponder over. I think it would be very similar to mohair (I have a few of these) where you would need a knitwear comb to keep it looking fluffy and not matted in places where there would be friction, like under the arms x
Thanks Emma, I think I shelve the cardigan for a while. Don’t really fancy a ‘dreadlock’ gardi….😅I think I stick to the classic knit.
Also ny feet have changed and specifically gone larger! In the past 2 year I have gone up a size and a half 🤷 also had to give away or bin shoes 😢
