I respect your philosophy, however we have a rule on this channel. Whilst criticising, provide a solution. Please, make 2 titles (thumb and the regular one) for a video without spoiling a storyline and historical events irl for people who just browse their TH-cam feed 🤟🏼🔥
@@ImpGoose The main character is Henry. Not his bros nor his father (IIRC Kobyla). That's all I have to add to what I have written, and I don't think you have the game script in front of you where Henry's destiny is "revealed". The solution is sticking to the facts and not rumors or speculation. If rumors or specumation are involved, put the word in the video title. If there was a word in the tile - rumor - I would not react at all.
Agree to disagree. Many fans think that Hans is one of the main characters alongside Henry. We like them equally. I said that I would speculate in the video 😜 Your answer proves that you have a different point of view, that you are new here, and you don't know what kind of content I make. Respectfully, we have discussions here in a civil manner with theories and analysis. If you can't provide 2 titles, I'm afraid you aren't helping and just being angry
7:30 So I think Hans Capone will have a historical death, but depending on the player's actions Henry will have different endings. I'm hoping for something like Red Dead Redemption.
They’re saying goodbye to the characters cause Daniel Vavras story about them ends in KCD2, it’s supposedly part 2 and 3 of the story of Henry. I don’t think they’ll kill either of them off cause of both historical context with Hans and open world post story play for Henry
Your videos are far superior to any mainstream games journalism I've come across, especially your Witcher 4 vids. To answer the questions you have for us: I will be extremely depressed if Henry and/or Hans die during KCD 2. I assume it'll be one of the quests during Henry and Hans' adventures where Henry will have the option to save him. However, I wouldn't be surprised if delaying the quest too long will cause the death of Hans. The developers so far have been pretty good about not spoiling the main storyline so I doubt they'd do it with a railroaded death of such an important character before release. I think they're trying to hint at a possible consequence to show the severity of our future choices.
KCD2 events happened before Hussite wars and Hans takes part in these so I don't think so. On the other hand we got Markvart von Aulitz who died before KCD1 events so anything is still possible. I would guess Henry is gonna lose his life in pursuit for revenge :(
I don't think Henry will die at the end because he narrates the intro to KCD1 and he sounds like an old man and nothing like Tom McKay. I don't think Hans will die either, looks like he is awaiting execution in the clip but my gut feeling is that Henry will save the day.
you can see hans locked up and henry taken away somewhere maybe to meet toth but hans in story trailer says do you know who I am as he is left behind plus it possible that mystirious knitgh has something to do with it as he is important as he speaks at the end of the trailer and I think he knew henry's father martin since martin had his own share of adventure
I personally don't mind them dying. The characters they are based on, a blacksmith son in Skaliz and the noble Jan of Pirkstein, died long ago. One in Skaliz, one in the Hussite wars. Marwarth of Aulitz on the other hand lives longer than he did in reality. So their fictional counterparts dying in 1403 as a pseudo-historical compromise I can live with - I would even love that.❤
Good video! I think any remarks from developers during thid time mighr be creative red heerings to make us surprised by the actual game. Or maybe what is discused is alternate endings. Cant wait to find out.
I'm more worried about Father Godwin's fate in the game. I think his death would be more likely than Henry and Hans's. And that would also be the reason why Henry is sad.
Henry should not die, he is the narrator of the first game after all. Or it is hinted at, because the beginning cutscene ends with the words, And this is where my story begins. Hans has no Child yet, so he can't die either.
Warhorse made very brave and bold choices in KCD1. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Hans and Henry die at the end (or maybe even earlier) in the game. As far as I know everyone that could test the game earlier could only play to a certain point. So it seems to me like there is a bigger plot point right after that.
In this era of mindless sequels, prequels remakes and reboots, if a studio wants to end their story arc on a high note, i'm all for it. And im sure if that comes to it that it will be poignant and well done as they have showed us before
Hmm this was a really interesting thoiught, the moment where they'll be saying farewell to henry and hans also just broke my heart a bit and i really have nothing to add to it apart from sadnes... But then again i don't remember where i heard this anymore but i think they had planned for this to be a trilogy? and and they also had opened up their auditions for writers too, they made a twitter post about it so i'm not even sure anymore... About the moment about hans being in the tower it may be some random teaser because i doupt they'll put something from so late into the game into the trailers but... also that's what devs do to mess around with people which 😭 One more copium that i have, is that prague isn't explored or any hint that we'll be ever going there which is obviously a capital of great value to all of central europe at the time and feels like a natural final magnum opus of a city for the developers to polish and refine to it's utmost quality, making it posibly as big as novgorod in witcher if not bigger? and obviously all interactible or something like that. Or to add more cope they've learnt so much from the first and the second game where they could now fully grasp and understand what they'll be doing in the third one, kinda like for the witcher series where first one was quite good, but janky, second one good direction is also just not the best and the third one becoming an absolute classic after all the experienced earned trough the years. And on reddit i've read this theory that just fueled me, to think more that maybe the third game will focus on posible henries child and them having a good old cutsey game about henrie becoming a father adn adventuring with him. :> About the question, i mean it was never stated that they will end their life, it's just that we'll never see them anymore maybe they'll go into hiding or live out a peacefull life after realising that this war business isn't it yk? right? hahaha. But Seriously maybe it may be some sacrifice for one anotheer or they'll parish defending someone they care the most for which may be the person that we'll play in some other kcd title? Also i don't know if you've read the wiki on the husites but they were absolutelly brutal and unable to avoid but to get into it, henry and capon may go in to resolve the issue to just... yea or maybe switch their alegience which then would also cause a lot of trouble just thinking a bout it makes me really sad wow About capons scene (again) i feel like they shouldn't kill him because he's a noble and they're better left alive? but then again he could be forced to do something way worse like be bait for henry or be forceed to betray him maybe by the king even? Or maybe he just took the hit for henry and went to jail instead of henry and that's where henry comes in and takes him out. I don't think i've huffed so much copium in your life, i hope you're wrong and not gona lie, maybe i'll need to stock up on sylvan red juuuuust before the endinng "just incase".
Haha, it was just enough of copium. I hope you are right and it's just a twist in a story. There were posts about them planning a trilogy, therefore it confused me that Hans was trapped and Luke's eyes got misty. Fingers crossed Hans and Henry will have a good ending!
WH didn't plan to make trilogy. The original plan was to make 1 game split into 3 parts but they didn't have enough resources and people for such large project. KCD2 is supposed to be part 2 and 3. I hope I cleared it out for you. Cheers!
wow, i seeee that actually checks out quite a lot, thanks! :DD there will be dlc so this won't be the last time we see henry we still have like... a year of him and capon left uhuh
I played it a couple of years ago. It made me angry because I couldn't fight properly, I failed quests often and needed to train Henry to survive, though I loved the story and eventually learned how to fight. I'd say that only because of my stubbornness I didn't drop the game in the beginning. It's not a chill ride but it's rewarding if you look for a good, old "from zero to hero" story. Is there anything else I can help you with?
@@AfonsoVMSPKCD is not for everyone. But thats exactly what makes it so great. Because a game made for everyone is a game made for noone. Its not a quick and easy distraction you play for 10 mins for some fastfood fun. Its an immersive world you need to dive into for hours on end. If you are willing to immerse yourself in a beautiful brutal world that doesnt forgive mistakes, if you want to enjoy a slow paced trip into 15th century Bohemia and are looking for a complete escapism, the game will be just what you need.

Hans died some time in 1419. This game takes place in 1403 so I doubt the characters will die ingame

Yeah, that will be a cool twist!!!
Historically, Hans lives to fight in the Hussite Wars at around a decade later.
But sinsister gameplay and games are simply the best.😂
Hans Capone will survive, he will die about 12 years later. There is howerer theory about Father Goodwin dying.

The bad ending is the one where Henry runs off with a gay dude right? lmao!

@@ImpGoose Yeah, I have a bunch planned too. I was right about almost everything so far...next week more character reveals.

Kcd2 probably will end in the black room/world from Henry's dream; and with Henry joining Martin and his mother as they walk into the sunset.
I don't think Henry will die at the end because he narrates the intro to KCD1 and he sounds like an old man and nothing like Tom McKay. I don't think Hans will die either, looks like he is awaiting execution in the clip but my gut feeling is that Henry will save the day.
My suggestion is that when the two get splitted at the begining is somewhat related to this scene. Maybe he get himself captured or something.
I hope so! Yours option has more positive outcomes haha

It will be a dramatic outcome but it fits the medieval settings. How short and unfair life was during this time!
Good video! I think any remarks from developers during thid time mighr be creative red heerings to make us surprised by the actual game. Or maybe what is discused is alternate endings. Cant wait to find out.
Good point! No matter the ending, the game will be fun and immersive. That's the best thing about KCD 🥳
When a game makes you work as hard as K.C.D. does, depriving the player of a happy/satisfying ending comes across as a bit...sinister.
True! Warehorse devs like unusual moves (unusual for modern gaming at least). Let's hope they won't shatter our dreams to have a happy ending 👀
I'm more worried about Father Godwin's fate in the game. I think his death would be more likely than Henry and Hans's. And that would also be the reason why Henry is sad.

Ooooh, that's intriguing 😍 I wonder if the story is more complex than in KCD1. Hopefully, both Henry and Hans will be okay!
