dude I am sorry thats kinda what i dealt with the game was honestly not ment to handle mods sadly as i can never get it too work properly anymore i fixed the crashes but other things tend to mess up for me hopefully this guid will fix that issue
Infinity Break It didn’t at first. I ended up uninstalling all the mods and reinstalled the vanilla game files. I started a clean save with a few of the important texture mods and it worked fine. Oblivion can’t handle that much I guess

Tbh, I think Oblivion could give Skyrim a run for its money if the engine wasn’t so trash. Other than that, the game is phenomenal. I’m just waiting until Skyblivion comes out

For those of you who are STILL having this problem, just delete the game from your hard drive, clear everything from your system cache, and reinstall the game again... That should prolly fix it!

I have a problem with two doors. When I open "Door to Castle Skingrad Courtyard" and "Door to Applewatch Farmhouse" my game crashes everytime! Please HELP! P.S. I've not opened Applewatch's door before, but I've opened Skingrad's door.

No i do not but i might need to now that you say that ive berm doing a letsplay of Oblivion that might help with the crashes i get now and then all i know is the framerate is indeed fixed by this little fix
@@infinitybreak4459 RX 550, FX 6100 and 8 gigs of ram, and i didn't even finish the tutorial because the controls just don't respond at all, so i would bet that i would get framedrops in combat even when i am outside, it only makes that much sense
@@the_kekromancer9779 ok soyour stuff is a little weaker then mine and i started to experience the frame drops but i instslled mods sooo yeah there was more nonsense goimg on there on my end. Try following tge instructions i give in the video if you change both of the numbers in your game files you might see better frame rates likd i did because youll be giving you game more ram to use
I'm not sure if my problem can be addressed by this, but I'm at the end of my rope: After playing a certain amount of time (5 to 10, 15? hours) my game continuously crashes upon saving (any kind). I don't think its the Abomb, but I am not sure if its my mod list or if the game itself is trashy. I've downloaded from Steam. Did anyone experienced something similar to this?
Have you tried turning your mods off and saving without them? It's a good idea to play the game every time you install a new mod for about 5-10 minutes to be sure it doesn't cause issues It might take some time, but I'd say it's worth the trouble of trying to figure out what the problem is after making a decently sized mod list for your game

But perhaps I should copy someone else's LO (like a recommended list on Nexus) to see if there's a change. However, I have noticed some weird things: I think some assets were missing, most noticeably the special effect items on Martin's magic circle in Cloud Ruler temple. I have also downloaded a message plugin to record some crash warnings, and it mentioned I was missing some "bearidle" animation.

@@infinitybreak4459 well, the game crash when Jauffrey talk something about " the empire and chaos", is the first message, when you are reunited with the blades, jauffrey and the son.
@@lOakensoul it might be scripting issue if you increase the values like in the video it might solve the problem if not you can try to skip that part by manually setting the stage to the last stage in the quest via console commands it might solve your issue and you can continue to the next quest

@@lOakensoul i think setting the graphics to ultra high might be doing that the game might not have enough memory being allocated to it if you follow the guide in the description you can increase the amount of memory your game is allowed to pull from your computer and staop a lot of crashes and FPS drops but you have to do what i did in ths video
You shouldn't be using mods on consoles. I pulled my hair out for years trying to mod Fallout 4 on Xbox, it really is a nightmare. You need a PC for sure.

Oblivion implodes with only a few mods irrespective of how modern your PC is so that'd be the day.
The only solution for this is that OPENMW team make open oblivion, that way the game enginee an ishs gonna be fix

The preloadsizelimit is in in hte "My Games" folder
adding a 0 to the preloadsize is actually x10 rather than 4

I have slowly discovered that this is true, Oblivion truly wasnt ment to be modded 😅 but this solution does help

I have 8 gigs of ram so I changed by Cell Buffers from the default value of 16 and 102 to 8 and 116.
Is this correct?
No change the first number to like 24 it'll allow thd aplication to use like 2 gb of ram
Just change the numbers to whst i say its only allowing 2gb of ram knstead of 250 mb

So i have decent frames when i am not in combat, but when i am it drops insanely what should i do?

Hmm see i never ran into this issue before but i know the quest does it crash with a message at all or doez it just freeze on you?

Lol i have a 3000$ pc and it does not run fine vanilla😂 I’ve done all the normal things u do when games run badly but it doesn’t fix it
Way late but u should try 4gb patcher, obse, oblivion stutter remover, oblivion enginee fix and install all unoficial patches
