Cool video. I'm going to be out in that area at the end of the month, and would like to ride it. Can you tell me if there's any shops that do demos, and about how far it is from Oxford?
Those trails look like a lot of fun. That's crazy that you're on your final Jeffsy ride. I also just did (I think) my final Jeffsy ride. I ordered a new bike and I'm waiting for it to ship. I loved the Jeffsy, but I'm ready for a newer frame and bigger wheels.
@@BlindstuffMTB Roughly the same travel. I ordered an Ibis Ripmo (v1). I loved my Jeffsy in Florida, but I want a little better pedaling platform now that I live in NC. There's obviously a lot more climbing here so pedal efficiency was super important. Not that the Jeffsy is a bad pedaler by any means, but I just wanted something more efficient. I also wanted to go back to a 29er. I had the 27 Jeffsy but I missed the bigger wheels.
@@dankraft hey thanks heaps for the video. Beautiful trails and great riding. I have been riding a TREK Roscoe 7 Hardtail 27.5+ bike for just over 2 months and am considering a FS bike. As my stamina and strength needs some work :) i would prefer a good pedaling bike and am comsidering the Ripmo AF as well as the Knolly Fugitive as from what I have read about them they both seem like great bikes. How does the Jeffsy compare with those bikes? I would really appreciate your thoughts. Thank you very much. Cheers . Alan
Right on! Happy to see how the better geometry on the 2018+ does. Happy to hear you've enjoyed yours. They become integral parts of our story out there over time, right?
Nice riding, enjoyed the video. I live about an hour away and ride Coldwater every chance I get. It gets almost too hot in mid-summer so this time of year and fall are really prime out there. Let me know if you want a local tour sometime, a few guys I ride with (including the guys that won the Pro and Expert races at the Oak Mt. enduro) can really light it up at Coldwater.
Yeah, this time a year is just amazing. I was there in really hot weather and I'm surprised how humid it was for the location. Really struggled. I don't know when I'm going back, its a big drive for me, but I'd definitely love to ride some fast guys there to learn from them. Cheers!
Which is a better trail YT Jeffsy or Specialized Stumpjumper ? I'm coming from a Specialized Rockhooper Comp 1X 29 2020 which is my first bike and I still have.
Love the production as always, the trails are really just perfect, specially not skilled riders gonna be able to see quickly the progress after each ride by sending the variety of rock gardens, pumps and bumps and some safe jumps, like you said only the limit of skills make you go fast as you able to, excellent riding. I think your Jeffsy should go to Hall of fame, it helped you develop great riding skills, cinematography and off course unforgettable memories for you and for us as viewers, thank you for that!!!! Not sure which brand you chose but if you stay with YT they should make some nice and grease contribution, because you promote them like you a part of company and for sure it helped to lot of viewers to choose YT brand, keep them coming and good luck in race (i know is already over), cheers V!
Man I do love that place so much, Funny how you went after we just left there. Jackie loved that place! The climbing on the second day from Anniston trailhead beat her up though. Bomb dog is the shiznic. I finally did that drop on bomb dog. It wasn't too bad. Looking forward to enduro video. Be well my friend. By the way, that log skinny your friend Angel did is epic. Jackie and I were siting on it for some time resting thinking about who ever did that was pro LOL.
It's too bad we were just a few days off, always a good timing ridding with you. I wonder if I can now keep up going down Trillium. We though about the drop for a while, but the slotted landing felt sketchy when I had a race the next day, so chickened out. And yeah, Angel is a manic with slow tech haha.
Nice riding dude.
Thanks Juliano!

Don't know about shops, but Oxford is really close. About 15 minutes. Definitely worth the drive. have fun!
@@BlindstuffMTB thanks!
Love Coldwater mtn. Rode it only a few times. On hardtail. Looking forward to getting there again. Awesome video
You should! Its so much fun. How was it on the hardtail? I feel like its the type of trail where one would work great.
@@BlindstuffMTB it was great! Legs got pretty tired though on those long downhill with rock chunk sections.
@@gr8fulride just makes you a better rider!
@@BlindstuffMTB agreed. Got a full squish finally and learning small jumps now. Slow , but progressing .
Thanks for the shout out! A sender is nothing without a good squad to encourage him (or her) to push the limits!!
No doubt! We've all made each other better riders.

Cold water is awesome! Such a great trail system. Looking forward to seeing what your next rig is going to be.
Never a bad time there!
This is sad 😔 but I Guess it’s not a bad thing.
It was an awesome goodbye, and I replaced it with another Jeffsy!
Great video, dude. I have the 18' Jeffsy and we've been on a lot of adventures. It's going to be a sad day when I switch out. Love the bike.

BlindstuffMTB very true, dude. Keep on riding!
i really appreciate your thorough analysis and feedback of everything you do whether its equipment, trails, or general experience. love the videos!
I really appreciate that! Happy to hear the approach is well received.
Nice trails. Glad you got your use out of the Jeffsy. Can't wait to see your new ride!.😁
Best bike I've ever owned. So many great memories on it.
This just goes to show that with plenty of space, you can do a lot with very little elevation. Nice vid!
Yes it does! Well, space + excellent design.

which trail were you riding after the tree skinny?
The short clip is on mama bear into papa bear. Can remember which one but they're ridden together so one of those.
Next longer video is trillium

Happy to see you around here!
Never been this early.
Great vid
Thanks! Happy you enjoyed it.
BlindstuffMTB you should ride the new indigo dh at santos on your way down south to miami
@@variousartists8261 Didn't happen this trip, but Ocala is always great, should head up soon.
How long is the drive from SoFlo?
Unfortunately its 12 hours. Always brutal to do, but so worth it.
lol, nevermind, just heard it in the video, 12 hours.

Can I have your old bike 😂
If it were within my means I'd love to do a giveaway, but its something I just can't pull off.
Do A edit challenge and the winner gets it👍or👎
If you need someone to donate your Jeffsy to, I volunteer :)
