Nanami Chiaki I know right, they had much more sanity (excluding Nagito) and personality unlike the first cast. But I guess getting trapped in a school with no way out and not sseing the outside world would make you go a little bonkers. The second cast was reasonably more interesting cuz they were able to travel the island as the pleased and (again) they weren't trapped in a building with no way to go outside.

in Nagito's free time event's you get to know that he has a brain disorder called "frontotemporal dementia". It effects the front and temporal parts inside your brain, which those parts of your brain effect your personality, behavior, and language. As we continue with Goodbye Despair, he gets crazier with everyone every chapter. So yea that's all.
Wow, this opening is much less spoilery than DGR1. Like, in the first game's intro, you literally see the first execution's beginning with the neck brace.

Or it’s a reference to when jammed a knife into his hand when he was torturing himself. But both of those were with his left hand while the one we see onscreen is his right hand so idk

This is still one of my favorite game openings to date. I just love the music and all the visuals fit so well. There also aren't a lot of spoilers really, but once you play the game and then re-watch the opening, there are so many things that you'll notice that you didn't give much thought to before. or at least that's what happened for me.

There are spoilers,but they are well placed and don't reveal much unless you actually played the game and saw the scene first hand. In the first game's Opening almost every scene they showed had spoilers that were easily spotted and the first Class Trail's killer is basically spoiled in the damn OP.

If I must answer this, "quality" in this context refers to the level of performance of each of the games and how good they are in overall story, characters, gameplay, etc.
This intro helped me realize Nekomaru’s talent is such a small aspect of his character

Something you have to love about these games is that the intros really put off a tv show or anime intro effect, it’s really nice.

Idk if anyone already noticed this but most of the characters who survived have their backgrounds blank and they are mostly a gray/blue color. While the ones who died are colored and their backgrounds r more detailed. I guess Akane is colored in because its trying to point out how she almost died during the game. I said that the ones who survived mostly had a blank bg, since we all know that Chiaki died, then why is her background gray? I think its gray because she is still livin within hajime (?) Like at the very end she raises an objection with hajime which shows that she will always be there.

Mahiru: caring but sassy sometimes
Peko: protective calm and quiet
Hiyoko: Bratty, rude, childish
Ibuki: exciting, crazy, hyper
Mikan: always scared, cries easily, turns into a psycho
nekomaru: loud, strong, disgusting
Gundham: evil, lovable
Nagito: confusing, strange
Chiaki: lovable, smart, quiet
Fuyuhiko: mad, cusses a lot, but turns nice after chapter 2 (my fav char)
Sonia: nice, smart with old stuff, confident

This is my favorite opening for a danganronpa game, it is so epic. When I first saw it pop up in the game I was like “Yeah!” and starting bopping. No other danganronpa opening made me do that. So awesome job on the opening Spike Chunsoft.
I love that, instead of the sprites, they have these sketchy drawings that we’ll probably never see again
Pretty sure those are from before the trials, where it shows all the characters, and all the dead characters are red
